"Really 5-star hotel... It is located right in the heart of WangXianGu. The location alone worth every penny.
Mind you that taxi will only bring you to the main reception area. From there depending on what your room number is, you may be 100mtr or 800mtr away from the reception. And due to the nature of the terrains, this also requires a bit of stamina as you may have to walk down to the river where the hustle-and-bustle are or walk up to the breakfast area. But no worries they have porters to help you with the luggages. FYI check in time is 3pm onwards.
We had the duplex room so the 2nd bed is on the mezzanine level. And our bedroom window facing right at the valley where at night they lights up everything. What a beautiful sight to behold 😍."

"The price was cheap. They do offer traditional costume and makeup for guest at discounted price too. The staff were friendly, but the heater itself wasn't too warm. Ended up asking the staff for more heater. There's free transportation to and from Wangxiangu, but you just have to give them maybe at least 15 mins heads up to avoid waiting so long."

"The environment and hygiene are very good, very satisfied! This hotel is really amazing! It feels very comfortable from the beginning of the door. The front desk lady/little brother is very enthusiastic and the check-in is fast and intimate. The room was very clean and tidy, the layout was very stylish, the bedding was soft, and the sleep was super fragrant.
And the location is particularly convenient, go out to go shopping and eat very smoothly, the breakfast is super rich, the taste is also very good, every morning can eat full. This homestay is absolutely incredible and located very close to Wangxian Village — making it super convenient and not tiring to travel at all. The service was exceptional. The host arranged a pick-up and drop-off from the train station, which made me feel very safe, especially as a solo female traveler.
The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. Communication with the host was easy and smooth throughout my stay. I will definitely come back here again. I’m beyond impressed. 100 out of 100!

"As we purposely chose to stay near Shangrao Railway Station for train travel purposes, for us the location was great as it was only a short 10min walk away (just make sure you know how to navigate). The food offerings in the surrounding area of the hotel is nonexistent so make sure that you pay for the breakfast buffet which was plentiful with a standard Chinese selection and a limited continental choice (see photos). It’s about a 30 yuan 20 minute taxi ride (get a Didi taxi or hail the several that are parked outside) to the city centre proper if you are heading there (less than 10km). Room was clean and the staff were professional."

Generally speaking, it is OK. But this quality hotel should not do this step, this is the level that ordinary Samsung Express hotels can do. There are fewer supporting items, and the facilities are average, especially the shower is very general and the shower is sprayed. The lights in the room, the wiring is chaotic, and the light button on the bedside is unclear. The curtains are closed at night, and the side of the sofa is particularly dim. In addition, there is no smart toilet, no toilet cover, and the hotel and room at this price should not be. One room is just a carton, a little less, it is recommended to put another bedside or TV cabinet, especially in the family room, there is still more paper.
Environment:
10 minutes walk from Jinsha Cableway Station. There are many local restaurants and small supermarkets around. The location of the hotel is relatively close to the mountain. Although it is secluded, it still seems a bit too ”secluded” and knows everything. Suitable for self-driving.

Service is not bad. The front desk attitude is very good, basically responsive, but it may be a new hotel, some waiters are still a little awkward, but it is harmless and overall good. But it must be pointed out that the breakfast at this hotel is really too general. It looks like a buffet, but there are few choices, the taste is average, barely filling the stomach, delicious is really not to say. Coffee has no milk, there is American and concentrated, salad has no sauce, noodles are responsible for hotting you, you mix it yourself... corn and roast wheat are steamed dry...

GGuest UserThis is a fantastic place, right in the scenic area, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. At night, you can enjoy the night view, and during the day, you can stroll through the ancient landscape, with small bridges and flowing water right before your eyes. The atmosphere is truly captivating! It's also incredibly close to surrounding attractions: Wunu Island is about 10 minutes away, Moon Bay is just five or six minutes, Jiangwan is about 15 minutes, and Huangling is just around 20 minutes, making it quick and easy to get to wherever you need to go. The overall environment is exceptional, the facilities are all new, and the stay is incredibly comfortable. Rapeseed flowers bloom outside the window. You can tell the owner is a dedicated owner; the rooms are immaculately clean and the decor is warm and elegant. The food is absolutely amazing! It uses local ingredients, cooked to perfection, and every bite is satisfying. The owner is friendly and attentive, providing a thoughtful shuttle service. From check-in to check-out, it makes you feel right at home.
This B&B made my trip even more perfect. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Wuyuan!

HhumblezThe hotel staff were sweet and helpful. They offered a tea service for guests, which was such a lovely touch. The hotel owner used to run a tea factory before opening the hotel, so the tea they serve is their own in-house production. When they served it, it wasn’t just a cup of tea handed to us, but they led us to the seating area, sat down, and prepared the tea right there for us. We could slowly sip and savor it until the flavor faded. If you come here, you can enjoy it as soon as you arrive or later (we arrived in the afternoon but saved it for the next morning).
Another thing that really impressed me was the room, which was much nicer than I expected from the pictures. I was traveling with older family member, and they absolutely loved the room. It felt spacious and cozy thanks to its design and layout. At first, I thought we might have been upgraded, but it didn’t seem so—this was the original room I had booked.
The hotel grounds are also quite spacious. Some of the buildings are designed with traditional Chinese architecture, and there’s a garden on a hillside at the back that took us around 30 minutes to walk through.
As for the breakfast, it was decent—plenty of food, though the variety was fairly standard. Still, I’ve got to say this again—the tea served at the hotel was great. They even gave us a box of tea leaves when we checked out!
If you’re coming from the train station, it’s easy to reach the hotel by bus. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, and routes 2, 3, and 520 pass by. However, buses stop running fairly early, with the last ones around 5–6 PM. Conveniently, the bus stop has a QR code you can scan to track the buses in real time.

PPahpomThe owner of the hotel was very nice.He provided car pool for us from and back to Shangrao.We arrived hotel around 10.00 before check in time he let us in the room.In the afternoon he sent at to Wangxian valley and get us back at night.There were a lot of people, a lot of cars and buses so we lost the original spot he dropped us. Anyway he tried to find us and took us back.Thank you a lot.
The room had enough space to stay comfortable. The double bed was big and comfortable. Everything you need was provided. A lot of restaurants around the hotel. Breakfast was a cup of noodle (may be it was Chinese style to have noodle for breakfast). Anyone who come to Wangxian village ,this hotel is highly recommended.

JJonathan GregoryThis is my second time staying at this hotel on this trip (two days away at Wangxiangu). The first time I had a bad experience. Because there are not many foreigners who stay at this hotel, they knew that the bad review was from me. The hotel manager personally came to apologize for the bad experience and offered me a small gift. It was very nice, but it will not affect my review. Every problem that I had last time was gone. The only thing that I thought was very strange is that I booked the same kind of room as last time, but for some reason this room did not have a desk in it. Finally, the front desk staff had a note in English and Chinese asking about my stay and making sure that I was happy. I suggest that it becomes a staff rule to ask all customers (both Chinese snd foreigners) about their stay to make sure that everyone is happy, and any problems, big or small, that do happen can be quickly fixed for the next people who stay.

YYuenWe came for a biking holiday. We stayed 4 nights. We left every morning on a different biking route. Lots of roads and villages.
We each had a guest room. I was disappointed that I had the smallest room but they thought I wanted to be on the same floor as my friends. They moved me to the 2nd floor and now I had the same HUGE place as my friends. In the sitting room, is an L-shaped couch. It pulls out as a bed. So I guess this room could fit up to 4 people. The shower is huge. There is plenty of space to wash our bikes. The sauna/hot air thing was great for drying our clothes too!
Had we been more people, we probably would have rented one of the bigger places and shared instead of getting our own guest rooms.
It's fairly quiet. Breakfast was served in a separate traditional building. Normal Chinese breakfast, but asked for the noodles with the fried eggs! The kitchen staff were very accommodating when we asked if we could have breakfast at 7 am. Also, we asked for a late check-out because we wanted to shower after our ride. They let each of us have our rooms till 4pm at no charge. It would be great if the stone tiles could be power washed as it was quite slippery when it rained.
I didn't have my driver's license but I needed to go pick up my friend and his broken bike. So I went back to ask the manager if he could drive our car 35 km to pick up my friend. He was happy to drive me!
The sign to the guest house was not installed but if you look for the castle-like building, you'll find it. It was tricky getting to the hotel because we arrived late and it was absolutely chucking down with rain.
This is a great, gorgeous place if you want peace and quiet. My room had a river view. Great for relaxation. Highly recommend this place.

CChangyousifangAfter coming down from the mountain to see the rape flowers, I found this newly opened hotel on the way back to Wuyuan. The room is quite big (there are no tables and chairs, which is a bit strange), there are peach blossoms in the yard, right by the river, and there are several outdoor hot spring pools (of different types) where you can soak in, and there are not many people. The hotel does not have a Chinese dinner restaurant. The front desk recommended a restaurant 5 kilometers away that served really good local dishes. The hotel breakfast is right next to the front desk in an open format, which is rare. The breakfast variety is good and sufficient.

GGuest UserThe room is over 2700, but it feels like 270. A family of four and one child came out to play, and booked a single-family two-bedroom family room. At first, I only saw four pictures, and the other room was not shown at all. I thought it should be the same as the picture. I never expected that the other room was so simple that there was only one bed, and my friends really only had a tatami bed. And you have to run from one room to another to go to the toilet. I am really dissatisfied, everyone must avoid it! The only consolation is that the service is OK, the shuttle bus driver has a good attitude, and the breakfast is pretty good.
