4-Star Hotels in Taoyuan

The hotel was good. The location also good and calm and not noice but a bit far from train station but still can use taxi. As a muslim traveller, The breakfast here is good eventhough not much choice for halal food but enough for me to fulfill my stomach for a day. Thank you.

This hotel is super close to the train station, just about a 5-minute walk away 🙌🏻. There's also a bus station nearby where you can catch buses to Taoyuan and Taipei Main Station, though it is a bit far from the MRT. The staff were really helpful, assisting us with booking a taxi and recommending places for late-night snacks 🤍. There are also shopping areas and a night market close by (●´∀`●). The breakfast selection was excellent too! The salad 🥗 was very fresh, and the pumpkin soup was quite good 👍🏻. Plus, it's a family-friendly hotel and has a gym. Overall, it's great value for money 🙏🏻, though the soundproofing isn't the best 🙉 as you can hear noise from the neighboring rooms at night 😂.

The breakfast is unique, and the rooms are clean. We had a six-person room with two bathrooms, which was very convenient for a family trip since we didn't have to fight over the toilet in the morning. The breakfast even included steak as a main course, plus a buffet of other dishes.

It was clean and the toilet was a Japanese toilet, very convenient. Location was convenient, nearby 7eleven and a good walking distance from the airport MRT line (you could choose either Linkou or Chang Gung Memorial hospital stations). Reception could speak english and very responsive.

Location to airport is just 25 min via Uber which is very good. However, traveling to Taipei city center is about 1 hr though bus rides are quite efficient. Hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly especially on our first day check in we were allowed early check in as the room was already available. Breakfast was good though if you were staying for more than two days, you might tend to skip the last day breakfast as you encounter almost same menu each day.

This time, we stayed in an Executive Suite. It featured a minibar, a sofa, and a fridge generously stocked with a diverse selection of beverages, unique local snacks, and plenty of tea bags. The room also boasted twin balconies, offering direct views of Shimen Reservoir's back pond and spillway. While it was rainy and foggy upon check-in, we were fortunate to wake up to a sunny day ☀️, which allowed the stunning scenery to unfold before our eyes – absolutely breathtaking! 👍 The suite's amenities included a foyer, double sinks, a large bathtub, and a separate toilet room. Our kids absolutely loved playing hide-and-seek and insisted on booking the same room type for our next visit. The bedding was incredibly comfortable and warm. However, despite the air conditioning being quiet, it was excessively cold. No matter how we adjusted it, the room temperature seemed stuck at 22-23 degrees Celsius. 🥲 The hotel is conveniently located directly opposite the entrance to the entire Shimen Reservoir park. We finally managed to drive through the whole park. For those planning to explore, I recommend heading out early for a hike to avoid the heat, then returning to the hotel for breakfast and a refreshing bath. 🛁

Nice stay, room was huge and more than I needed. Breakfast buffet was mid, you can skip it get much better local breakfast around.

this place can get loud because it is facing the street. there is an annoying icecream truck that plays music to lure kids. it circles rouns and round. they do clean the place but the cleaning solution smells... like clorine. they need to use more natural solvents.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the price was reasonable, making for a very good overall stay. The location is a bit out of the way, so it's recommended to have your own transportation, but this also means the environment is quiet and of higher quality, allowing for true relaxation. The hotel's overall ambiance and facilities were satisfactory, making it a place I'd consider revisiting. The only downside was that the spa was under maintenance, so I couldn't experience those facilities, but it's still a highly recommended quality hotel overall.
