Очаровательный отель в самом сердце Ретимно. В каждой поездке была в этом городе, но никогда не останавливалась в центре, и не пожалела выбрав эту локацию) Рядом куча кафе для утреннего неспешного кофе, извилистые улочки (не стесняйтесь сворачивать в переулки - там много красоты и почти нет туристов), в 7 минутах ходьбы платная стоянка, почти за сутки я заплатила около 15 евро. Номер шикарный - обстановка, удобства, есть халаты и тапочки, отличная кровать. Я выбирала по картинке и все оказалось в точности, как на фото) Номер на первом этаже имеет дверь в переулок, от этого немного шумно вечером, но я так нагулялась за день, что без проблем уснула, хотя сплю без беруш. С утра будит колокол на соседней церкви, это пожалуй было единственное неудобство - но подозреваю, что так в любом отеле в центре Ретимно будет))

Small apartment in the heart of the city. Very well located, super clean, and very convenient. Loved also the warmth of the host ! Would stay there again

Close to the beach, we ordered breakfast and dinner, the food was average, neither good nor bad. Cost-effective. There are two outdoor swimming pools, which is a plus.

Nice place to stay in the city center.. Very clean and nice design for the room and the entrance.. The owner was very friendly and helped a lot especially with keeping my luggage after check out. Highly recommend

Everything was more than perfect. We got a small room upgrade, a nice gesture. The hotel is well located, the rooms (apartment) are large, very clean and very well equipped. On the 4th floor no problem with the road below. Same with the swimming pool which is great. Bar available during the day. Barbecue evening every Wednesday evening is very cool. ALL the staff are super nice and competent. The SPA is perfect, Mariana is super attentive and super professional. Great stay at Macaris 👍👍

We stayed at May Hotel for two nights before flying back to Germany, and overall we had a pleasant stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we really appreciated being allowed to check in early. We booked the half-board option, and both the breakfast and dinner were good. Breakfast offered a nice variety of choices, and dinner was tasty with enough selection. The room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep. The hotel also has a gym with enough equipment for a basic workout, which was a nice bonus during our stay. The hotel itself is comfortable, although the rooms and facilities feel a bit outdated and could benefit from some renovation. The location is also not the most convenient, as there is no direct beach access—you’ll need to walk a few minutes to reach the beach. Overall, it’s a good value for money with excellent service, comfortable rooms, decent food, and useful amenities. With some modernization and a more convenient beach location, it would easily be an even better stay.

Overall, it is OK, that is, the room is a bit musty, there are not many people, the health is OK, there is no public transportation, self-driving business trip or travel is OK. very good.

Alle Mitarbeiter da sind sehr nett und freundlich. Das Zimmer ist sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber. Man kann viel im Hotel machen, Spa, Billiards, Kartenspiele, schwimmen usw. Es gibt sogar zwei Schwimmbäder. Das Essen war auch top. Man hat viele Auswahl beim Buffet. Und das Menu beim Abendessenbuffet ändert sich auch immer. Die Lage des Hotels ist auch mega gut. 2 Min zum Strand. Gleich neben dran gibt es Bushaltestellen und Mini-Supermarkt.

The standard rooms are very cramped which I would not book again. We asked for a bigger room and we got it without any problems. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. Even if you want to park in the street. Please note otherwise it is paid parking on a site further on. Old town is within walking distance 2 min. Walking to the beach is 8-10 min. Enough bars and eateries in the street. Location and staff are really a 10. Didn't go swimming because it was too cold but pool is smaller than it looks in the photos. Hotel is very nicely decorated it can be seen that it has just been renovated.
