What a gem of a place! Food is AMAZING! Friendly and helpful staff. Everything is clean and in it's place. Can't say anything negative here. Big variety of wines and yes, they do serve beer! Nice menu to choose from and of course the perfect location for a romantic day or night out.

As soon as you arrive at the gate the staff already make you feel like a VIP guest. The wine tasting was definitely superb due to the award winning wines available. The food was to die for and was beautifully presented and tasted magnificent. The room had personal touches than made you feel properly spoiled. The view from our room was stunning with the sun rise and sun set beautiful displayed again the mountains. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend Asara to anyone looking for a a memorable experiences.

Beautiful views from the Wine Tasting Room and Cigar Lounge. Friendly team members. We never felt that we were not looked after. We enjoyed our Wine Tasting very much. We will definitely be back to explore all the other Restaurants at the Estate. Highly recommendable for sure.

Coming from busy Camps Bay, driving up the beautiful alley, we could immediately feel the pulse lower. Both buildings and gardens are perfectly situated in between the vineyards and the lake, with a breathtaking view over the mountains. Lovely big, newly renovated room close to both the clean pool and the excellent restaurant. Lovely food and even more lovely wine! We will definitely visit Asara again!! Love from Alf & Else

Great stay and all the staff was incredibly nice! Food was incredible and anywhere you are in the hotel the views will be breathtaking. It is a great way to be a little outside of the city and relax. Could not recommend this hotel enough!

Overall, the property is nice and staff are very friendly making sure your stay is enjoyable and comfortable. It is a perfect venue for weddings or special occasions.
The property is listed as a 5-star hotel. Our room, however, had the entire backwall with peeling paint in the bathroom which suggest previous water damage that has not been fixed. This is rather unacceptable for a hotel rated at 5-stars with a nightly rate of more than $400/night. Hence, our lower rating.

My husband and I had a stunning time at Asara. From the tranquil setting in the vineyards, the delicious food, fantastic wines to very friendly staff, everything was just perfect! The views are absolutely breathtaking. The pool is very well maintained and I had a very relaxing massage in the treatment room. It' the perfect spot, as it's just a quick drive to viby Stellenbosch town and other wine estates. Absolute value for money, we do highly recommend Asara and can't wait to be back.

What an absolute incredible experience at Asara, my friends and myself joined for a wine tasting and were blown away by the selection & friendly service. The staff took the time to educate us on all the different wines. I fully recommend the wine tasting at Asara, guaranteed a fun-filled and enjoyable wine tasting experience.
