Incredible little hotel right on a small canal. If you want authentic Suzhou (not a western style hotel), stay here.

The place was perfectly located with amazing services. The place feels really intimate and you will feel like home. They gave some fruits at our arrival, those were so sweet!!
And a big plus for the owner who is really comminucative even though we dont speak the same language, and helped me when i lost something.

very good stay, the boss is super friendly and helpful.
Very recommend others to stay as here is very near to Shan Tang street. Easily access to all street and local food.
Night time got big LED screen for us to chill together with great brew of tea.

Such a lovely stay with lovely hosts! Our room was fantastic and so cute, right on the waterway! The outdoor space is also amazing with the top terrace having a great view! A short walk from Shangtang Street and close to all you would want to see im Suzhou! Would 1000% stay here again!

We traveled to Suzhou on the day there was a typhoon! Informed Xiao Gu that we were at the road junction and he came to the rescue with 2 giant size umbrellas (bracing the storm) and helped us with our luggage.
The room looks exactly like the picture. We were provided with 2 bottles of water and a fruit plate. You can also have Chinese tea while enjoying the canal view! All the amenities are very modern.
The hotel is surrounded by local shops so the prices of food, fruits, pastries and even souvenirs are really reasonable. Shantang Street is a few minutes walk away (tourist price though) and there are many photo spots on the way there.
Xiao Gu has been very helpful in many ways. Thank you for your hospitality. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay in Suzhou, perfect location and super friendly staff. The room is beautiful and has basic amenities. You can enjoy the terrace at night. Highly recommended!

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel!
The staff was incredibly kind, extremely helpful and friendly throughout our stay. His warm attitude truly made a difference.
If I ever get the chance to visit again, I would definitely stay here without a second thought.

We had an amazing experience at the Wanhe River inn! The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The place was spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained, with charming details that made our stay even more special!
The staff gave us excellent tips and recommendations for exploring Suzhou, which really enriched our visit and helped us discover places we might have otherwise missed.
We truly appreciated everything and are already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Suzhou!
