Hotel receptionists were impolite & know nothing about Suzhou. If asking any questions they would say we don’t know! Unlike many other hotels in China.

My wife and me stayed at the Garden Hotel Suzhou from 02 to 06 December 2023. This is an excellent hotel with a large compound with several low rise buildings. Location is excellent with ample shops and dining options all around the hotel. The room is large enough and better than most other hotels. Breakfast spread is very good with enough western and eastern varieties. Staff are friendly and helpful. Taxis are easy and conveniently arranged with the help of hotel staff. If we do go to Suzhou again, we will stay at the Garden Hotel Suzhou again.

Good choice for stay in Suzhou, super clean, nice service, a secret place full of history and culture. Breakfast is a must try, too.

the location is perfect if you have dinner and drinks nearby in the walking street, i was upgraded to a very nice suite, clean and service is good

Convenient location. Very close to 网师园 and 十全街。Hotel room was a bit dated and the carpet needed replacement. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. Overall a pleasant stay.
