Samarkand Hotels with Pools

We enjoyed our stay very much. We were rhe only guests at that time but the staff was always around to help us. They cooked and served us our breakfast and asked us about our food preferences. All facilities were clean, modern and beautifully made. There was also a nice indoor pool and sauna. That areas also included a shower, toilet and changing room. Additional towels were provided. We can only recommend staying at this hotel.

The hotel is located directly opposite the Shah-i-Zinda complex. It's about a 5-7 minute walk to the bazaar (souvenirs, dried fruits, nuts, sweets, etc.). The hotel is clean and new, and the breakfast menu changes daily. The selection isn't huge, but everything is delicious and fresh. We booked a junior suite, which was quite spacious. The only downside was the noisy air conditioning, but in spring, it was comfortable to sleep with the windows open. Samarkand is love at first sight! Thank you for your hospitality! We will definitely be back!

After a day of exploring the city, it's wonderful to relax by the pool, take a dip, and enjoy a meal at the hotel restaurant. The restaurant serves excellent food; their lunch soups with a warm bun are incredibly energizing for the whole day! Breakfasts are hearty and delicious, and I particularly appreciate the wide selection of seasonal fruits like peaches, apricots, nectarines, watermelon, melon, pears, apples, and strawberries. The samsa is absolutely amazing, especially the one with zucchini, and the chicken samsa is excellent too. I haven't tasted such delicious samsa anywhere else in Uzbekistan – the dough just melts in your mouth. A huge thank you to the chef! Right next to the hotel, there are bus stops where you can catch a bus for just 2000 soum to all the city's attractions. Taxis are also readily available and inexpensive. The Registan Square is about an hour's leisurely walk away, and along the way, you can browse shops and grab a bite at cafes.

Arrived in Samarkand in the early hours by train, and the hotel front desk was very efficient and quick with check-in. The AC was already turned on in the room, which was a nice touch. The room was a bit smaller compared to the Mövenpick in Tashkent (though this might just be a standard room with no deluxe twin option). The hotel itself is quite large and conveniently located near a university with many good breakfast choices. After housekeeping, clean towels and toiletries weren't immediately replenished, but after speaking with the front desk, they promptly rectified the situation. Their attitude and ability to resolve issues are definitely commendable.

Проживали в отеле 2 ночи, понравился сервис на рецепшн и на завтраке, все очень доброжелательные) сам отель очень уютный и красивый! Внутренний двор очень милый, из номера с видом на сад видно Мечеть Биби-Ханум) Расположение хорошее, недалеко от площади Регистан) немного не оправдал ожиданий ассортимент еды на завтраке, он был достаточно скромен (сравниваем с отелем 3* в Ташкенте, там разбегались глаза), но голодным , конечно не останетесь)

This hotel had wonderful staff service. The staff were all young, and I felt they communicated well with each other. When I asked the front desk about not being able to charge my smartphone because the power outlets didn't fit, they kindly lent me a charger that seemed to belong to another staff member. Also, when I asked if I could buy bottled water when I left my luggage before check-in, they gave me the hotel's water for free. In an unfamiliar place, the time I spent at the hotel was the only time I could truly relax. I would like to return to Samarkand. When I do, I would like to stay at this hotel again. There is another hotel with the same name located about 1km away, and Yandex shows that one.

This is a good hotel. We stayed at the Hilton before this, and this hotel is no different in terms of quality. It's clean, and the housekeeping is daily, with excellent staff. The downside (we stayed in March 2026) is that there's absolutely nothing nearby. The fountains weren't working, and neither were the water park, amusement park, or shopping center! In the summer, during peak season, it would probably be wonderful here! But not at any other time of year!

We had to extend our stay and decided to stay at the same hotel for practical reasons. The room is clean and convenient, they provide water bottles and Ahmed tea which is the best. The only thing missing is a bidet in the bathroom. Breakfast was ok. The location is central, a few minute walk from everything you need to see in Samarkand. And a 15-minute drive from the train station. The man working at the reception on the last night was not as pleasant as the first two as he stopped us on our way to the room for the taxes we had to pay because we extended our stay. He could’ve done it differently and asked us while we checked out or simply told us to come pay when we have a chance to do so, which is usually what is done in other hotels. But instead I had to go back and forth several times to try and pay him by cardbecause he could not figure out how to make the card terminal work. I was so tired and just wanted to use the bathroom and go to sleep and he would ask me to wait an hour for his manager to come, and then lecture me about how things are done in hotels worldwide, as if I did not know, having stayed in hundreds of hotels myself… anyway, I figured he was just new and a bit awkward but there was no need for the condescending tone or to imply that we were going to leave without paying the taxes…

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hilton Regency. Check-in was fast, and the front desk staff were wonderful – they told us everything we needed to know, advised us on the best places to eat and visit, and quickly arranged taxis within the complex. The room service staff were always accommodating, and any requests were met promptly. Room cleaning was very thorough and unobtrusive. We particularly loved the pools in the spa center on the 2nd floor and visited them daily. There's an excellent steakhouse on the 1st floor, and it's within walking distance to the fountains and the Eternal City complex.

Location is near Registan Sq with lots of shops and good eateries nearby. Exterior seating and courtyard area is excellent for rest from a hot day walk. Room is clean and very spacious, bottled water and amenities are all provided. Staffs are very helpful and knowledgeable. A generous breakfast buffet and there is a swimming pool, jacuzzi and steam and dry sauna for use at the basement. Facilities are slightly aged but still very good condition. Highly recommended.
