Very Good
PPalapalashanThe private hot spring in the room was fantastic, and the Japanese service was impeccable. There was also a tea ceremony performance, which made it feel like a trip to Japan. Plus, the children's play area downstairs was very clean and not crowded.
WWangyanThe rooms were clean and quite spacious, with plenty of bottled water provided. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is conveniently located near Zhongshan Metro Station, and the Wi-Fi connection was also quite fast.
YYee11I recently stayed at CitizenM Taipei North Gate again, and the experience was just as enjoyable as before. The hotel is conveniently located only a 5–8 minute walk to Beimen MRT Station, about 8–15 minutes on foot to Taipei Main Station, and within 10 minutes’ walking distance to the lively Ximending District. Right across the street, in front of the post office, there are also multiple bus routes that take you directly to popular attractions such as Yangmingshan and Jiufen Old Street.
Check-in/out
• Check-in: 2:00 PM

We stayed in a Double City View King Room. Although compact, the space is cleverly designed to be cozy yet functional. The floor-to-ceiling window provides a superb city view, with a built-in wardrobe and side table that makes storing travel items and documents convenient.
The room is also well equipped with thoughtful amenities. There is a separate toilet and bathroom cubicle for added privacy, along with a hair dryer and a mini bar fridge. Universal sockets are available, and the entire room can be controlled via an in-room iPad, including the lights, air-conditioning, blinds, curtains, and TV. The Wi-Fi connection is fast and reliable, and the TV supports AirPlay and Chromecast, making it easy to cast Netflix or other streaming apps directly from your device.
CitizenM Taipei North Gate strikes a great balance between modern design and convenience. Its prime location makes it ideal for both transport and city exploration, with Beimen, Taipei Main Station, and Ximending all within easy walking distance.
I would highly recommend this hotel to solo travelers, business travelers, or couples.
JJasonhiewThis is my 2nd time staying here. Everything was well except for one night when my wife 's leg was bitten by something and quite swollen. Not sure whether it was bed bugs or other bugs. And also the lady at the counter could have smile more. She was quite cool. Overall, the location is fantastic, very convenient. There's a water dispenser at the reception floor which is very very convenient.
QQy1234Good stay for one night, simple hotel but has bathtub. Lift and corridor are rather stuffy. From taoyuan AirPort Express station take exit 6 is easiest with elevator (read past reviews and tried this route). Y21 exit is stairs only and linked to the underground mall which has demon slayer exhibition. Breakfast set is from Fuhang, receptionist will call you when delivered and go down to collect. Salted soya is not to my taste. Fried dough is oily but nice.
LLim Kok HuatA great place to stay. Amid a 15 mins walk from MRT, the hotel was surrounded by various nice eateries, from breakfast rice balls to hong kong style roasted goose rice , etc. The room is spacious with a nice big squarish bath tub plus a nice 55 inch TV . Staff are very friendly and helpful.
CChanbora SekFun Inn Taipei has its pros and cons. The location is excellent—very convenient for getting around the city. The staff and host are great, always responsive and helpful, which really made the stay easier. The beds are also comfortable, which is a big plus.
That said, the building itself is quite run down, not very well maintained, and cleanliness could be improved. Common areas and facilities didn’t feel very fresh. Overall, it’s fine for a short stay if you value location, friendly staff, and a decent bed, but don’t expect a spotless or modern environment.
AadmiralcrunchieThe hotel is located at an extremely prime location, where majority of attractions, necessary train stations, and tour group meetup points are just a walking distance away (5-20min walk to all). Finding the hotel was a bit tough as there was no bigger signage at the lobby area indicating the hotel's existence (7th Floor of the building). 4 elevators service the floor, which is quite ok but tends to be full and an issue near checkout time (11am). Staff are kind and explain everything. There is a pantry with free water, but no snacks unlike other hotels that give snacks. During our stay, there was construction going on which made the hotel lobby quite busy and noisy during daytime. The other guests are also quite noisy even in the middle of the night. They clean the room every 3 days but strictly only upon request, but they change the towels daily. They allow luggage storage after checkout. Overall I'd stay here again primarily because of the location's convenience and kind staff. There are clothing and trinket shops outside the building; it is near a famous beef noodle house.
TTony@ChanReview of N Hotel Taipei
Pros
N Hotel Taipei is very well-situated, offering convenient access to the NTU Hospital MRT Station, which makes traveling around the city straightforward. Its proximity to 228 Peace Memorial Park further enhances the location, providing both accessibility and a pleasant environment. Despite being in the city center, the surrounding area is relatively quiet, making it a suitable choice for guests seeking both convenience and tranquility.
Cons
The overall service quality at the front desk could be improved. During interactions, staff members appeared to lack the warmth and welcoming demeanor typically expected in the hospitality industry. Enhancing staff training in guest relations and hospitality would significantly elevate the overall guest experience.
YYENHUAThe hotel is very convenient for transportation and can store luggage. It is less than five minutes' walk from Qingguang Business District and Shuangcheng Street Night Market.
The equipment is old but clean. The shampoo and shower gel are in the same bottle. People who are not used to it are advised to bring their own
There is no problem with the breakfast food, which is small but has everything you need (toast, steamed buns, soy milk, coffee, lettuce, hot soup)
The only drawback is that it is too small. You have to queue up to wait for your meal, but there is no diversion arrangement for dining. The hall is also very small, so you have to squeeze in the aisle to wait.
