Second time staying here. Right in the middle of a night market, yet it is not noisy at all in the room. There are plenty of food options nearby, including the famous braised pork rice from Wangs Broth. Longshan temple mrt station is only less than 5mins walk from hotel. The only downside is cars will not be able to drive up to the front of hotel for pickup or drop-off once the night market starts.

I booked a basic room for two nights. While the price wasn’t the lowest, I expected clean and well-kept accommodations. Unfortunately, the first room I was given had a strong moldy smell, the shower looked nothing like the photos, the walls were peeling, and there were visible signs of water damage. And there was still some hair in the bathtub from last person staying there. It made me feel really uncomfortable—I didn’t even want to touch the bed or use the shower. Mold is especially concerning for anyone with respiratory issues, so I don’t think the condition of that room was acceptable. That said, I want to give full credit to the hotel staff. The person at reception was very understanding and immediately switched me to a much better, clean room without any hassle. I really appreciated the quick and helpful response. Overall, while the service was excellent, I believe some rooms in this hotel need serious maintenance. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving those spaces.

We had a pleasant stay at Wholesome Hotel. Although we experienced a small hiccup during our first few hours—the air-conditioning had an issue—it was promptly resolved while we were out enjoying dinner. When we returned, everything was already fixed, which we truly appreciated. Throughout our stay, the room was consistently cleaned while we were out on tours. We also requested extra pillows, and the team provided them without hesitation. The staff were genuinely accommodating and helpful—I wish I had the chance to get their names to personally thank them. One thoughtful touch that stood out was being able to borrow an umbrella during rainy weather, which saved us from having to purchase one and was easy to return at checkout. The room itself was spacious enough for two people. While it didn’t have a bidet, it was still very comfortable—especially for a budget-friendly hotel. Its location is a big plus, being close to the night market and just steps away from affordable food options downstairs. We also opted for the daily buffet breakfast, which turned out to be a great choice. Having a hearty breakfast each morning kept us energized for our full-day tours. Overall, we were very happy with our stay. We felt safe, well taken care of, and would gladly recommend Wholesome Hotel for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and value.

The hotel is on the street of a night market. There are plenty of tasty food nearby. The restaurant offers wonderful breakfast.

Walking distance to Longshan temple, metro station & Guangzhou street night market. Hotel room is clean and spacious.

Very gd location, 5min walk from Longshan Temple MRT Station on the Blue Line. Night markets just at the hotel doorstep but these markets are very small scale. Nanjichang Night Market is 20 to 30min walk away. Ximending also within 30min walk or 1 mrt station away. The 2-century old Longshan Temple is worth visiting, and just near the Temple is the conserved heritage area of Banga (Bopiliao). Affordable foot massage parlours are almost next to the hotel. Hotel provides washing machine, dryer (pay a small fee to use). Bathroom has no door though, just curtain.

Clean, near train station, near at night market ,near longshan temple, surely will come back

location wise is ok but quite a walk from mrt station , there is one hotel closer to mrt actually . surrounding got a lot foods and local stuff. i like the hotel provide complete amenities. the cleanliness is ok, the toilet has some dirt but minor . overall is a good stay

location is good, near metro station, just that room for quad, the toilet setting is kind of odd shape, and only one side of the bed/wall has wall plug for charging

The room size is very spacious with 3 single beds. Lots of floor space to open up luggages. Also toilet has a huge mirror and long vanity table to put many items. The only downside is that toilet is “open concept” separated by a curtain. But that is what makes floor space. Overall very good for 3 persons.

Hotel is fine but location is not suitable for families with children. From the MTR, you have to walk around 500 meters passing a park with sex workers waiting for customers. And when you pass through alleys, you'll find yourself being invited to have a drink with 'girls' to table with.

Walking distance to longshan station approximately 5mins. Strategic location as surrounding with night market and convenient stores. Basically was 2 stations away to Taipei station and 1 station away to Ximen. Breakfast is decent which they offered chinese cuisine such as porridge, braised pork rice, etc. The most attractive was they provide brew coffee machine where I personally like their black coffee very much. Their service is good and provided the free upgrade to king bed with bath tub.

We loved the hotel. They were very responsive with our requests and they are very flexible. However, the location of the place is not so good. It's near night market but there are lots of homeless people in Longshan Temple station, a nearby station.

The room was very big , beds was comfortable. Clean! And very near by convenient store also with the night market in front .
