A gem at Biwako. The wooden room is very cozy and of larger size than regular Japanese hotels. The hotel also got their own private beach.

Really enjoy the days stayed in this hotel, the view is excellent even on cloudy day…. Unfortunately cannot see the sunrise! The room is spacious that we can walk freely in room! Microwave is available for shared use! Enjoy!

The location was great having the beach just next to the hotel. The stars at night and the sun rise there made our trip special. I like the room with the woody design.

The hotel is spacious,counter service very friendly abd help .after 50km cycling trip from Maibara, in time to have good rest and recharge my battery handphone, has bicycle storage area. .Not far on the opposite right, there is 7 7Eleven convenient shop and few local restaurants. cheap and delicious.

This hotel has the best hotel receptionist we met on our 6 week traveling through Japan. Our bicycle was broken, she was very patient with the language barrier between us. She insisted we brought the bike insde the hotel as outside it was too hot. She went collect plastic gloves, carried our bike chain (which was very greasy), helped 10 minutes to work on the chain. She told us she worked in a bikeshop before she started working in the hotel. An amazing lady!!

The service attitude is really good, the breakfast is delicious and very rich, the room can see the sunrise🌅. Because I have lived there myself, so introduce friends 👫 live?

The hotel is right next to Lake Biwa. The scenery is beautiful. Dinner is average and of average quality. Breakfast can be enjoyed facing Lake Biwa. It is very beautiful and very healing

The hotel is located by the lake. It is very nice to go down to the beach in the morning to watch the sunrise. Although the lake view room is blocked by some trees, you can see the direction of the sunrise. The environment inside the house is quite dark, and the decoration is in the style of a camping cabin. It is quite comfortable in Lidu. It takes about ten minutes to cross the train station. There is a shuttle available to get to the station after checking out, but there are only two fixed times that didn’t fit our schedule, so we didn’t choose to take it. Makino itself is quite remote, so everything was as expected.

It looked like there would be a hotel with a large bath, but there wasn't one. It feels like the hotel is where groups would go or where they would stay on a graduation trip. There are no facilities and there is nothing nearby

A very pleasant hotel, I stayed in a lake view room. You can rent bicycles and follow the bicycle trails. Breakfast is okay! There is free parking and multiple parking spaces. There are several restaurants around

The room was very warm and clean, and there was a nice view of Lake Biwa outside the window. You can take a walk early in the morning to see the sunrise. I read in the reviews that there was a hot spring, but there wasn't one, which was a bit disappointing.

The room with a view of Lake Biwa was really nice. It was raining but the atmosphere was good. Breakfast was also delicious. The lake walk was also the best.

It's located on the shore of Lake Biwa, and has a beautiful view. I think it's the perfect hotel for activities and summer getaways. We didn't make a reservation, but it would be great to have a barbecue on the lake.
