Excellent customer service as soon as you walk in, English speaking and friendly. The room was very nice and came with a bathtub with a shower head and tap. The buffet wasn't great, but it wasn't bad, some decent choices, but more Chinese than Western food if any. The hotel is a few minutes from Xiaobailou Subway Station and it's pretty central for downtown travel - restaurants, the scenic areas etc. Overall, a great experience, place and people. Highly recommend

The manager is very considerate. Our check- out time is supposed to be at 12noon. Our flight is at 6:00PM. She lets us stay until 3PM, no extra charge🥰 She even helped us book a taxi going to the airport. Their staff is very approachable and they are willing to make extra effort for all your requests and questions. Highly recommended ❤️

St Regis lived up to it's reputation for service that goes above and beyond.....we had a problem upon arrival -:the fridge was missing. abd the spa wasn't working. This was disappointing as it was one of tbe reasons we had booked that hotel. Not only did they rectify the fridge within an hour/( minutes?), they also sent up a lovely tray with local treats and they offered us breakfast on the house. We could n't get the spa experience, but felt the manager, Frank, did his very best to make our visit special, and we were so appreciative. We would definitely book again, but know to check a few things beforehand in case the website is not up to date. At any rate, StRegis stands by its service and the manager was excellent. Kudos to Frank Wang!

The hotel is good and located conveniently. However the breakfast spread is more Chinese rather than Western. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

The Shangri-La, Tianjin, is, and has always been our favorite Hotel to visit. This week was a special celebration for us, as we celebrated our 15th Wedding anniversary, as well as our 4th consecutive year in China. We relocated to another City / Province, about two years ago, and was unable to visit and enjoy our special Shangri-La. Prior to us moving from Tianjin, we used to celebrate all our special occasions and milestones, at this branch of Shangri-La. We would always spend our Christmas, New Years, and Chinese New Year's at Shangri-La. Now that we have returned to Heibei, we look forward to continuing this tradition. Things change over time, some familiar faces are no longer working there. However, the new team made us feel right at home again, and went out of their way to make our stay most memorable and special. As I mentioned to one of the team members, it's not the spectacular Lobby Lounge, nor the beautifully decorated features, that make the establishment, but rather the people. Without quality staff and superior service, no establishment can ever rely on reoccurring business. For as long as these values are in place, this Shangri-La can be certain of our patronage. All team members provided excellent service, from the bellhop, to the waitresses, from the front of house to the housekeeping and of course the management team. Special thanks to ”Francis”, the new General Manager, ”Danny”, the Food and Beverage Director, as well as ”Billy”, the ”Food and Beverage” Manager. This trio of Management, ensured that we received the best service possible. Lastly, we would like to thank ”Roger” whom assisted us with a Driver / Transportation, upon our early departure. No visit to Tianjin, would ever truly be complete, with visiting The Shangri-La. See you soon.

Our hotel stay was absolutely amazing!! The front desk helped us with everything that we needed, they were also friendly. It was very easy to communicate with them. The rooms were very clean and everything was perfect. The breakfast was delicious, very much! This was definitely one of our favorite trips.

Location, room comfort, hotel condition I chose this hotel for its location.my late check-in and 4 Nights stay was a very pleasant experience: comfortable bed and pillows, courteous and helpful staff, clean and generous sized room, plus professional service, efficiency and tranquility for business travel. Location: It's perfect for watching performances in the auditorium, visiting the Natural History Museum, etc. It's just across the road and only four or five kilometers away from the water park, Fifth Avenue, the zoo, etc. The hotel has its own parking lot (when checking in) Don't tell the front desk your license plate number, it's free), just leave your car and take a stroll, the location is quite good. But if you are not watching dramas or visiting museums, but for food, you have to walk about 1 kilometer around the hotel to get food. But in fact, it doesn’t feel that far when you are walking around. It is also good to ride a shared bicycle. Appearance: The appearance is grand, with many ”cow” element sculptures, and the lobby and corridors are also very neat and classy. Room: I upgraded to a U-sleep lake-view room with an electric mattress for an extra 30 yuan. The room looked good, but the decoration style showed a sense of age. It had a western-style luxury style for senior cadres. The windows were closed, but in fact the lakefront was also closed. It's good, you don't have to get mosquitoes. The bed sheets are lake blue, I don't know if it is to match the lake view room. There are razors, toothbrushes, shower caps, and combs. The sink is also equipped with laundry detergent and disposable toilet mats. Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner are in large tubs, not in individual small packages. The location where the toilet paper is placed is slightly inconvenient. The wash basin occupies a large area and the basin is quite small. The design is not very good and water can easily spill out, making it more difficult for the cleaning staff. There is a separate wet and dry shower room and a separate bathtub. The water in the shower room is okay, but there is a little water accumulation. The bathtub is a bit hard to describe. Not to mention the glaze falling off the tub, the drain outlet is full of yellowish-brown rust... There is a wardrobe cabinet The light on the side is always on and cannot be turned off, but it does not affect rest. Hygiene: The room is overall good, clean and tidy. The flaws were the yellowish-brown rust on the bathtub outlet, and when I went to bed, I noticed that one of the pillows didn't have a pillowcase. But the flaws are not to be concealed, the overall quality is okay, you can ignore it if you don’t use the bathtub, and the pillow core is also quite clean. Breakfast: I didn’t book breakfast, so I don’t know. When I come to Tianjin, I still want to eat street breakfast to get the feeling. The overall feeling is that it is a hotel that I would stay at again~
