We had the worst stay at this hotel of any of in the past 10 years, covering 50+ stays in hotels. We always give high ratings when deserved but in this case we could not find anything positive except the view.
A few minutes after being shown the room to us and receiving a key, we spent the next 15 minutes killing as many bugs as possible (most were coming from in the kitchen where a steady stream of two types of bugs came out of a crack in the wall). I counted 3 cockroaches and 22 other bugs before I gave up. I moved on and tried to get a broken lock on the sliding door to work and gave up. We realized that we had not received the room we paid for (we only were shown a unit with two queens instead of the king bed we ordered.
When I went to ask the manager if she could give us another room, I couldn’t find the manager. There were also 2 running leaks of water in the ceiling and from the our ref ridge. The shower didn’t work at all. Our rooms were supposed to have black out windows according to the amenities list which they did not have.
The tv had netfix but no cable access. Free Wi-Fi was also listed as an amenity. It didn’t exist and there was no one to ask about it.
