I am a book lover myself, and came to stay here for 2 nights in March a week before Easter, mainly for the library theme and book selection. The hotel itself, the book lounge, and the book libraries on each floor was all very very good. However, upon my checking in, it was obvious that the male receptionist on the left pay more attention to Caucasian guests rather than me (an Asian solo female traveller). I had the impression they just wanted to get rid of me asap, and then served the Caucasian guests behind me. During the whole of my check in process, no one mentioned anything about the special libraries on each floor, no one told me about the free beverages offered โ€œat the far end corner for the reception deskโ€, and definitely no one mentioned anything about he QRcode library tour!!! I stayed for two nights and it was only after the first night (when I read the books inside my room that I knew of ANY of the services I mentioned above). Of course one may say I could read all those on the signageโ€™s provided in the property. But thenโ€ฆ Upon walking into the reception desk the next day, I did hear the same male receptionist explained in great detail (everything I mentioned above)in English to other Caucasian guests. I like the library premise of the property, the books selections were great, exhibition on the first floor was quite nice, however, I am not sure if I would stay for a second time, knowing how they treated solo female Asian guest whom they assumed was not civilised enough (that was my impression) to deserve a thorough introduction about this lovely bookish hotel from them. Quite disappointed to be frank, especially knowing how much history this hotel has included!!

Excellent amenities and although a small room it is well appointed. I love the concept of the hotel that is based on a library. Very Classy sophisticated elegant and comfy feel. The staff were also very helpful

Recommended for family who like nice and peaceful area. Can see Tokyo tower near the hotel. Many restaurant and supermarket around the hotel. The room is large and comfotable and also sparkling clean, all amenities are good. The staff are really nice and helpful, they are really happy to help. The location isnt far from nice temple and garden , you can walk to the Tokyo tower. Hope to go back again :)

Nice accommodation overall, recommended. A debatable point is that the strong emphasis on the eco-approach - involving that rooms do not get cleaned everyday by hotel preferred policy - also tend to become a reason to not make up the bed everyday, and provide at least a light cleaning of the room on a daily basis (which can be done without changing sheets / towels, and therefore remaining eco-friendly). Finally, it would be nice to have some complimentary bottles of water in the room on arrival.

Fantastic location. 10 mins walk from Tokyo Monorail straight from Haneda Airport. Great service from staff except for one male staff at the reception which left a sore taste in our mouths. Beautiful library concept. Will stay again. Big and comfortable rooms.

Very good location in the heart of the city, but in a quiet neighborhood. The rooms of the hotel have been renovated recently and they are unusually big for Tokyo. The service was professional, but not overbearing. This place is a great value for your money. I will definitely stay here again and I recommend it to others too.

Location: 1) It's 5 mins ride from Ginza , taxi is about 880 to 12xx yen depends on timing so if you have a few people travelling , taking taxi is a good option. 2)It has 2 metro stations nearby with very short walk. I tried to google actual view for the walk before ibarrived japan and it felt like much longer than it actually is. Both stations are just around the cornor. Daimon station is on Asakusa line, and Onarimon station on Toei Mita line. 3) Many convenience stores nearby and 2 are particularly almost just next to the building with less than a hubdred steps walk i bet. 4) Many eatery around the area too, if ypu are willing to walk down for 10 to 15mins to shinbashi direction, it's a full street of resturants and drinking places run until late. 5) We rented a car for a few days for our driving trip. The hotel offers 24 hrs parking (no hourly rate option although they have the price, guess that hourly price is for dine in customers) for arpund 2500 yen but there are a few open public carpark just outside the hotel where you can park your car for just 500 yen as maximum between 1900 to 0800 ( its perfect for us as we go back late n go out early everyday) The premise: 1) Not the newest but very well maintained, clean and neat 2) It's extremely close to Tokyo tower, you can take close shot of it when you walk back to hotel. We stayed in even number room which is not facing Tokyo tower side so i bet the Odd number rooms would be able to see it from their window๐Ÿ˜‰ 3) There's free nespresso coffee machine at check in lobby, we fueled ourselves with it every morning before we start our joruney of the day 4) Rooms are small but very well design with good utilisation of spaces 5) We booked a 3 bedder room with bunk beds , my kid loves it and got very excited running up and down every night. The bed is with mostly round cornors which is a nice detail that a mom who travel with kid wpuld appriciate 6) Although the rooms are small but they have a reading room on each floor where you can have some private quiet time for yourself if you need so, and the lobby has plenty of comfortable setting where you can bring your computer to work or i think its a great idea when we saw a group of friends drinking there too. Improvement recommendation: 1) There are 3 shelves in the bathroom , top is for brushing cups, it's better to add something at the edge or a tray to avoid falling of cup as when it's wet , it's easy to slide down. I broke one ๐Ÿ˜… as im not tall and the cups were one next to each other, so it's quite easy to have accident breaking it 2) The hotel website can add transportation to and from the 2 airports and other popular destinations as the location is really not bad. It's very helpful for those who are looking at the hotel to make up their mind. 3) The website can also show some reference for taxi cost going to nearby popular tourist destinations for reference of distance , that makes the hotel a more tourist friendly option. Conclusion: I would recommend the hotel and stay there again.

Stayed for 5 nights. Room was small but probably above Tokyo standards. Didnโ€™t like location much. Most tourist places were far and JR line was 10 minutes walk. Eating options near the hotel were not great. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Liked the continental breakfast.

I felt that the room size was smaller than I expected. It was a room next to the road. I woke up early as the morning sun came in. It seemed like the blinds couldn't block the sun. Another advantage is that it is close to Tokyo Tower and the park. There are a lot of subways nearby so it's okay to use them. Perhaps because there are many office workers, there are many ramen restaurants nearby. The hotel staff was friendly and I had a triple room because I had a child. The table space was too small to eat in the room.
