As most of the reviewers commented were spot on. Location is great. Room is very small, but that's typical in Japan. There is 2 coined laundry. Washer is 300¥ and the dryer is 100¥. Needs exact coin change. Washer Auto adds detergent. Room is clean. The check-in counter there are a few employees that aren't friendly at all. Not sure because I'm English speaking. And most of the employees here does not speak English. The manager at first weren't very friendly, but once I joked with him a bit he loosen up. But very limited English. Check in time is after 3pm. You can leave your luggage if you came early, but you can't take anything out or they'll charge you I recall 550¥ before your check-in time. The house thing is, they'll bring your luggage to your room by the time you you came back after 3pm. Check out time is at 10am!!! That's right! 10am! Every hour after they'll charge you if you are in your room after 10am. If you want to do leave your luggage after after you checked out, they'll charge you, it's 550¥. It isn't free as it mentioned on here. My room, the TV is a projector to the wall using Google TV. They'll leave you with 2 keys and a phone. They specifically, ask me not to call them. Only message them through the phone they left me. If you want your room to be cleaned, you'll need to bring both keys and the phone to the counter before 10am. You will be asked not to come back to the room till after 3pm.

It was a very bad experience. I had booked for 2 people through online travel agent and my friend was suddenly unable to come on the day . The hotel then charged me 100% cancellation fee because the contract for 2 people was broken and asked me newly higher room rates on the same day. Hotel said , I had to pay 100% cancellation fee for contract of the online travel agent, and new one was a new direct contract with the hotel. When I checked in, I would be asked to write my name and phone number, which they said was a direct contract with the hotel. Fortunately, I was able to change the number of people on the online travel agent web where I made the reservation originally and I paid a small additional fee. All that the hotel said was "100% cancellation fee and extra new room fee". The hotel said it was a contractual relationship and they are following the law. It was very scary what would charge me the extra fee.

After reading everyone's reviews, I'm posting this from a few years ago during the COVID-19 pandemic. I think it was the same front desk staff, but they were disrespectful and rude, which was not what you'd expect from a hotelier.
