Hotel Gracery Ginza

Hotel Gracery Ginza is surrounded by all the famous shopping malls. All the shopping malls are within walking distance. The hotels provide facial wash, facial mask, toothbrush as well as hairband. There are also coffee and drinks available at the lobby.

Couldn’t say I’m enjoying the stay as I’m too afraid to even stay the night I booked at the hotel, I was greeted with what could only be described as a terrible smell and spotted carpets. Not a good first sign, the blinds of the first room were damaged and the walls stained with substance that could only be described as either old spilled soda or something far worse. The smell was akin to sewage and the decomposed organic material, neither pleasant nor a smell that would warn a safe place to stay for the night. Quickly rushed down to demand for a new room which was promptly given however while the carpets were less spotty and the smell less noticeable I didn’t dare to stay the night in the room for the sake of not wanting to risk my health. Very unusual to experience a hotel that was as nauseating and down right dirty in tokyo no less in what is supposed to be a 4 star hotel. Wouldn’t recommend my worst enemies the experience

Great location near the main Ginza junction and Ginza metro station. Hotel is easy to locate, next to Ginza Six mall. Plenty of restaurants, combinis and drugstores nearby - everything needed for a Tokyo trip! Room is standard size for city hotels in Japan, we were able to fully open our 2 big luggages during our stay. All basic amenities were provided. Check-in and check-out was hassle free and they allowed us to store our luggages before check-in and after check-out. There is a lounge at the lobby with free coffee and tea provided. Didn’t like the bed and pillow but wifey was fine with both. Overall, it matches the price paid.

I recently stayed at the Hotel Gracery Ginza in Tokyo and had a delightful experience. I booked two rooms: a double and a triple. While the double room was indeed very small, this was the only drawback of an otherwise excellent stay. The rooms were reasonably clean and well-maintained. The hotel offers a cosy lounge in the lobby where guests can enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, and juice, which was a lovely touch. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any queries or needs. Best of all, the hotel provides ice, warm and cold water, and vending machines on every floor, adding to the convenience and comfort of the stay. The location of the hotel is fantastic, being very well connected with many different train lines. All the train stations are within walking distance, making it incredibly convenient to explore Tokyo. Situated right in the middle of Ginza, the hotel is surrounded by a plethora of shopping options, from luxury brands to popular street brands and local favourites like Uniqlo, GU, and Muji. Don Don Donki, a popular store, is open until 4am, which is perfect for late-night shopping. Additionally, on weekends, the main road in Ginza is closed to vehicles, allowing pedestrians to enjoy a leisurely stroll. Overall, despite the small size of the double room, I highly recommend Hotel Gracery Ginza for its excellent location, friendly staff, and comfortable amenities. It made our stay in Tokyo truly enjoyable.

The hotel is dated and some functions in the room is not working. The hotel managed to change a room for us. The new room is better. Some staff can speak fluent English but when they are off duty, I find it a bit difficult to communicate with the japanese staff.

Very old outdated facility and it smelled like sewage all the time in the room. As soon as my mom got into the room, she couldn’t stop sneezing and there were some mysterious hair on the floor…
