Sakura Hotel Nippori Reviews

It's an inconvenient location if you want to spend your time in Tokyo without being constrained by train times, but it's great for strolling around Yanaka Ginza. I used to be very impressed with this place, but now the cleanliness and equipment are starting to show signs of wear and tear. The breakfast soup has changed; we could only drink the broth. It's a long walk from the Chiyoda Line station, and it gets very deserted in the evening. If you use the Yamanote Line, it's also quite a long walk, and it's very quiet and deserted at night. However, the staff at Sakura are still very attentive.

Very good service and comfortable for friends and family. Easy to travel and close to the historical area in Tokyo.

The front desk staff were very helpful, and the hotel was very clean. It's about a 10-minute walk from the hotel to Nippori Station. We chose to stay here on our last night because the car rental place was nearby, and in the morning, we could take the Airport Express directly to the airport. There's a Lawson convenience store near the hotel, so we bought instant noodles to bring back. The hotel cafe staff were incredibly kind; they even prepared our noodles and brought them to our table. Breakfast only consisted of bread and coffee. The only inconvenience was that the men's bathroom was on the 4th floor, while the women's was on the 5th. My room happened to be right in front of the women's bathroom, so it was very convenient for me. However, it was a bit of a hassle for my husband and son, who had to go downstairs to shower, wash their faces, and brush their teeth.

The only 3 stars are for amenities but it's really not a big deal since it's a 2 stars hotel. We had the best stay in Sakura and we definitely will be back

SOO good for the price, and the staff (older japanese lady) were so friendly to me! Good cafe food for cheap, too.

GOOD PLACE TO STAY , VERY CONVENIENCE WITH PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Locates 5 minutes walk from the train station. Easy to check around Nippori area by walk. Overall was good, I find the room was a bit smelly like dust (which I think it came from either Tatami or the bed sheets). The bathroom door was easily to open even when it’s locked. I did check a couple rooms that have this problem, not sure for all. But the fact that it is budget friendly is a good choice at this price.

Very basic limited breakfast. Shared toilets. A bit too basic for such a high rating.

nice place & good environment

The hotel was in great location and easy access to the train station to NRT. The only downside was the breakfast that offered in the room price was only sliced bread , butter,jam,with choices of coffee or tea. I don’t think that this can be considered as breakfast,snack maybe more suitable to be called. The price was a little bit high for a hostel with shared bathroom. Near mister doughnut was great
