2-Star Hotels in Tokyo

The place was so clean, and everyday they clean our room, very friendly receptionist, our stay at the hotel was so amazing and the view outside.

I laughed next to the love hotel, but it was a decent guest house, and it was better to say a capsule hotel. There was a bathroom, but it was too dirty to enter because I was scared. Use only shower All amenities such as showers are available, including large towels. It's amazing for this price! Amenity is handed over in a dedicated bag, a system that returns everything at check-out. Use a dedicated disposable slipper. I think the location is good.

Pro's : Rooms are very clean with bright lights. Aircon worked fine. Sanitair is very well maintained and comfortable showers. WiFi strength and internet speeds are good. Personal is friendly. Hostel is located close to a metro station and grocery shop (5minute walk). We had the biggest 2 person room which was fine. Con's : kitchen and equipment is not sufficient for a 10 story hostel. Not enough kitchen equipment, extremely small fridge and just 2 stoves. Really frustrating if you like to make use of these facilities. The lounge is pretty small for a hostel this size. Rooms could be designed better to optimize the space for you luggage in a small space (for example space under the bed or extra wall rack etc).

The price and friendly staff are attractive. depends on the plan, you can also get amenities, so I recommend it to be used greatly. Cleaning is also well done. This is not the responsibility of this guest house, but there are some people who don't care about the noise among the guests who stay, so I recommend you to get an earplug at the front desk.

You can walk to Shinbashi Station in about 10 minutes. The bed and shower were clean and it was saved that there was a dressing room in the shower room. There is also a key locker. The dormitory itself is quite small, there is no place to spread the luggage. Also, the public space is only a small table in front of the elevator. I think you can spend comfortably if you have less luggage.

This place is fantastic. It’s extremely clean and looks luxury. The bed was super comfortable, I did not feel claustrophobic at all because the area you get is pretty big with a big bed and a high ceiling so you don’t feel you are in a capsule hotel. They have a very nice work room and also a lounge. The staff were fantastic and helpful. The location is central. when I travel I usually stay at four or five star hotels, but during the cherry Blossom season all the luxury hotels were sold out or they were ridiculously expensive like three or four times the regular price. This is the first time I stayed in a castle hotel, and it just did not felt like being in a hustle because it was so luxury and clean . It’s five minutes walking to the station. I stay three nights in the Shibuya and 4 in Kyoto location and they both were amazing. I will consider staying here again whenever I visit Japan .

It's a short walk from JR Akihabara (about 10 minutes if it's your first time), but about 7 minutes from Akihabara Metro Station. (Once you get used to it, you can go faster) The entrance to the building is a little difficult to find at night, but There is a signboard and an orange flag at the entrance. I was able to find it safely. Even if you check in late at night, please put up a sticker etc. I was able to enter the room smoothly. There are more toilets, sinks, and bathrooms (3) than I expected. There are many hair dryers, Paper towels, free ear plugs, and shampoo treatments are also available. Although it is an unreasonable price, It is very easy to use and I would like to use it again. The receptionist I met in the morning was also very nice. thank you very much.

A super clean, modern and organized hostel, loved the stay for two nights there a lot!:) it has a nice area to sit and relax on the second floor with a balcony for smoking. You only share the restrooms and shower with very few other people, as the building has 10 floors and not many rooms per floor. The breakfast is also very affordable and really good to start off the day. The employees were very friendly and nice, would definitely come back the next time I am in Tokyo!

I stayed at Focus Kuramae in one of the private rooms for 5 nights and had a fabulous stay. Staff were very friendly and happy to help with any questions. Although the room was small it was perfectly sized for two people who wanted to crash out in a comfy bed at the end of the day BUT having two large suitcases was a little difficult as we couldn't open the door the whole way, keep this in mind when you pack! The shared bathrooms were incredibly clean and toothpaste/brushes, hairdryers and shower products were provided. Also available was towels for 300 yen from reception downstairs. I do suggest taking a few moments to read the signage around the check in so that you are aware of other services offered as well eg. breakfast, laundry, camera higher, etc. The only thing I saw as being a little bit annoying was no fridges in the room to easily access cold water etc but there are fridges available for use down in the lobby/cafe area if you really need so this isn't really a huge issue. Definitely will be staying here again on my future trips to Japan.

The room with an additional bathroom for two people can see that the building is renovated in the old style, but the appearance is clean and cute, there is complete public space on the first floor, kitchenette, social room and laundry room, tenants can also freely use the space of the next cafe, and the staff is very friendly. The room is Japanese-style structure, the sink and the bathroom are separate design, the bathroom has a small bathtub for bathing, the heating equipment is not new but very warm, in addition to the bed, sofa and small table, you can also spread out a suitcase space, In-room wifi can watch movies but occasionally lags. The traffic takes about 20 minutes from Tokyo Station to JR Station, and then walks for 5 minutes uphill. There is no way to get to the city by the nearby subway line. You must transfer, plus the transfer time will be close to about 40 minutes. If you want to buy an electric subway pass ticket, you may have to estimate the JR ticket price (one-way 170).
