"Located in the prime location of Otemachi. Checking in to the hotel is full of ceremony. But for the price of 13,000, the room is not big. Much smaller than the nearby Amman. Guests who really like traditional Japanese culture will prefer Hoshinoya. From decoration to service, it is low-key (very low-key) luxury, with great attention to details. It is a pilgrimage site for hotel professionals, but for ordinary travelers, the cost performance is too low."
"Nice location near Shibuya station.
Linen doesn't seem clean and we spotted some hair during check in.
Amenities were sufficient but there isn't any coffee/tea or a safe box in the room. Also insufficient space for hanging any clothes.
Room is really tiny, there is barely any space to walk with 2 luggages.
Would recommend for the location and nice new deco."
"Very satisfied, the service is excellent! If you stay one less day, you will be given check-out money. It is very hygienic. It is also very cost-effective to treat friends to dinner. The transportation is convenient. I will stay in this hotel next time."

"First, the hotel is only great because of its hardware, the view, the name and the area. The service is disappointing upon my arrival.
I checked in at 1pm and a girl with short hair at the reception was very unwelcoming. She also said it was a company policy to charge hotel guests extra if we were to check in at 1 pm, since the official check-in time was 3 pm. This is the first time in my life I heard that a hotel has this kind of arrangement. She didn't even say ”sorry for your inconvenience” whatsoever.
I came back at 10 pm that day and was greeted by a young guy with glasses who was absolutely rude. I showed him a ticket to get our bags, and I politely said, ”Oh we haven't got our card”.
He replied saying, ”Of course! you haven't checked in, haha”.
I do not understand what is so funny, and at the moment he wasn't being funny at all. I felt discriminated because I'm an Asian.
Truth is I've already checked in and I only need the key to my room, so I don't quite know what his intention was. Then I was only given one card. That was appalling. We have four people staying and why would I only have one hotel card? As I asked the guy to give me one more card, he rudely said ”read the conditions yourself”, which said that I'll have to pay if I lose an extra card. You could've just kindly say ”please be aware we need to charge extra if you lose it”. The way he put it was very rude and that gave me and my family a very rough time that night.
On top of that, the moment I checked, the reception staff should have been giving me details about the hotel, the wifi, checkin checkin time etc., but he refused to speak more. I was very upset with these two people' service on that night."
"MUJI Hotel Ginza: The perfect choice for minimalists, live in the Japanese lifestyle aesthetics!
The most surprising accommodation experience of this trip to Tokyo is none other than MUJI Hotel Ginza! From the location to the detailed design, it perfectly interprets the brand's concept of ”simple but exquisite”, and is recommended to travelers who like natural texture and convenient experience.
Unbeatable location:
The hotel is located in the core area of Ginza, a 2-minute walk to Ginza Station, and it is very convenient to go directly to Narita/Haneda Airport! The MUJI flagship store is downstairs. If you are tired of shopping, you can go upstairs to rest. Next door is Shiseido Restaurant, surrounded by drugstores and luxury stores, a paradise for shopaholics!
MUJI style immersive experience:
The room is a Japanese minimalist design, with original wood tones + soft lighting, which instantly heals fatigue. All furniture and bathroom products are from MUJI, and the bedding is skin-friendly and you want to take it home! Although the area is compact (a common problem in Tokyo), the storage design is clever, and the suitcase can be easily spread out. I love the tatami teahouse by the window. It's so comfortable to have a drink while watching the night view of Ginza at night~
Details are a delight:
• Free samples of MUJI skincare products, including makeup remover oil + moisturizing lotion
• The smart control panel in the room can adjust the lighting mode (reading/sleep/night light)
• Bonus points for environmental protection: toothbrushes and combs are made of biodegradable materials, and there is no mandatory replacement of bedding for extended stays
Breakfast recommendation:
MUJI Diner's breakfast set (sold separately) has fresh ingredients and focuses on organic vegetables and Japanese set meals. We recommend ”Japanese-style morning meal”, miso soup + grilled fish + tamagoyaki, to start a day full of energy!"
"I am a book lover myself, and came to stay here for 2 nights in March a week before Easter, mainly for the library theme and book selection. The hotel itself, the book lounge, and the book libraries on each floor was all very very good. However, upon my checking in, it was obvious that the male receptionist on the left pay more attention to Caucasian guests rather than me (an Asian solo female traveller). I had the impression they just wanted to get rid of me asap, and then served the Caucasian guests behind me.
During the whole of my check in process, no one mentioned anything about the special libraries on each floor, no one told me about the free beverages offered “at the far end corner for the reception desk”, and definitely no one mentioned anything about he QRcode library tour!!! I stayed for two nights and it was only after the first night (when I read the books inside my room that I knew of ANY of the services I mentioned above). Of course one may say I could read all those on the signage’s provided in the property. But then…
Upon walking into the reception desk the next day, I did hear the same male receptionist explained in great detail (everything I mentioned above)in English to other Caucasian guests.
I like the library premise of the property, the books selections were great, exhibition on the first floor was quite nice, however, I am not sure if I would stay for a second time, knowing how they treated solo female Asian guest whom they assumed was not civilised enough (that was my impression) to deserve a thorough introduction about this lovely bookish hotel from them. Quite disappointed to be frank, especially knowing how much history this hotel has included!!"
"Ibis styles in Ginza is just one block away from Ginza Six and the flagship Uniqlo store in Ginza. There is a Family Mart right across the street so it’s very conveniently to get all that is needed. The room size is comfortable for one person. Not so much space to open luggage but manageable. Room is clean and well kept. Front counter service is excellent!!"
"Really lovely hotel. Really conveniently located between two metro stations. If you go out on the 3rd floor you can walk to Shimbashi station on the skywalks. On the B2 floor there is a family mart. Staff were really lovely and accommodating. The lobby view is stunning and I really enjoyed sitting there with my coffee in the morning or with a class of wine at night.
The hotel room was cosy, the bathroom toiletries offered were amazing. Even had a little skincare kit! Was nice to have some tea and coffee in the room too. I didn’t have a window facing the Tokyo tower but I still enjoyed my view of the train stations. You can hear the trains go by but it isn’t very loud and wasn’t an inconvenience at all.
Highly recommend this hotel!"

Great
GGuest UserThe hotel is ideally located close to Shinjuku Train Station, but far away enough not to be caught up in the hustle and bustle of the commuter traffic. Another station, Yoyogi station, is a better station to catch the local trains/subways as it is smaller and less crowded. The hotel is located close to shopping and eating that you don't need to walk very far to satisfy any craving. From 7-11 to high end dining, everything is close by. There are restaurants and even a Shake Shack (got our desserts from here several times) inside the building and department stores just across the bridge that crosses the railway tracks. The hotel actually starts on the 20th floor, so you are high enough that the noise from the railway doesn't bother you. Since you are so close to the train station, you don't have to lug your baggage too far from the train station (if that's how you came into town). Service from the staff was very good and was as expected from a higher end hotel. The room was on the large side for Japanese hotel rooms. We had a king size bed and space to walk around even with 2 suitcases and 2 carry-ons taking up floor space. The elevators were quick and silent with a view overlooking the promenade. Filtered water is provided next to the elevators, which came in very handy since we filled our refillable battles starting out each day of sightseeing. A refrigerator was provided as was a safe. Towels were changed on demand and sheets were changed every 3 days or on demand. The bathroom was small but not the smallest we experienced, the shower/tub was great with a handheld sprayer available. The toilet was the typical bidet/heated seat setup that all hotels seem to provide. Everything was clean and neat with the typical (for Japanese luxury hotels) compliment of items - toothbrushes, toothpaste, razor, shower cap, skin lotion, soap, shampoo, etc. Unfortunately, we were on the go most of the time and didn't experience any of the hotel restaurants, but they looked high end and we probably wouldn't have eaten at them since we didn't really pack any nice clothes that would have fit into the clientele. Overall, a comfy place to stay in a great location. I would definitely stay here again.

PpornphunFor us, the location was the best. Close to Shinjuku train station as we had a 8am train ride the next morning. Minutes from restaurant’s street and malls but in the quiet part of Shinjuku down a side road. We had a corner room that was cozy and comfy for the three of us. If I needed to be in this area again, I would definitely come back.

EEng KiatThis is my 2nd time staying in this Washington hotel. Location is excellent as it’s about 2 stops to the skyliner. There is also good food in Denny’s. Room is a bit old but works as described. It is safe too. Overall I had a good stay.

BBonikwokTried to stay in Keio plaza hotel again after returned from Mt Fuji.
This time arranged us to south tower , though it said to be upgraded, the hotel room is not as new as Main tower, however, due to its not at executive floor, the toilet was not same as main tower which renovated. Room size is still very spacey and big enough for our big bags to open. It’s tidy and clean.
Breakfast offering at 2nd floor which is lots of choices. Food all yummy and fresh! Hotel prices gone up because of cherry blossom, however, it’s still the best location and walking to Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden!

GGuest UserGreat stay at this hotel! Comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and excellent amenities. The location was convenient, close to popular attractions. Breakfast had a wide variety of options. AAnonymous Useri booked the triple room as it was the only room left. there was space for only 1 large luggage - the room was a little old but bed and duvet surprisingly comfy. onsen was small so it got a little crowded as the hotel was full that night. location was great - tho the nearest ikebukuro stn exit with lift, C9 (vs 20b), is a little further from the station. excellent authentic chinese food nearby (豪妈 on google maps), and a family mart just across the street. great hotel!

LLEESUNHOI recommend it to those who travel alone.
Above all, the neighborhood was quiet and nice (the area around Akasaka Mitsuke Station is noisy because there are many bars, but if you take a walk towards Tokyo Midtown, it's quiet and nice. Of course, the area around the hotel is quiet and nice.), and since it's located in the center, Ginza, Tokyo, Shimokitazawa, Shibuya, Roppongi, and Harajuku are within 25 minutes by train, so I was able to visit many places even though it was my first trip abroad. (It took 1 hour and 20 minutes to walk to Tokyo Tower.) Of course, I think the noise problem is inevitable because it's a capsule hotel. However, considering the price I paid, I think it's worth it. I had a great trip for 4 nights and 5 days. Nine Hours Akasaka also helped me a lot in making my trip a great one. If I ever travel to Japan again, I think I'll come back. 🙇🏻♂️

IItorinaIt’s a very convenient place to stay close to the station and it has a couple of stores to buy from and to eat out. The view in the hotel we’re staying at, was the best view for us. The staff at the hotel cleans our stuff often and change our bins and clothes etc. The service staff helps us a lot go through stuff with the luggage packing and cleaning information. It was a comfortable experience to have. Thank you!!
GGuest UserIt’s our first time in Tokyo. My family and I stayed in standard double bedrooms which have windows. We are really impressed with the hotel’s service. They have luggage deposit service for free. You can deposit your luggage before you check in and after you check out. They adjusted the direction of the escalator for us. The overall of rooms’ size and hotel is quite small, but it doesn’t bother that much. The location is so great that you can visit many famous shops like Uniqlo, Donki, GU near the place. And, it’s near a market and the train station including KS line. The restaurants near here are nice. The food tasted so delicious, even if we just randomly chose to eat. However, Ueno has a lot of clubs, so at night there’re several girls standing alongside the street with their guards. It may seem dangerous for someone.
