Amazing spa boutique hotel in the heart of the Costa Brava - stylish and cozy - perfect combination of middle age architecture & modern design. For me it is ideal place to escape from busy daily routine - very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere (perfect music selection in the hotel’s lounge and bars), good spa, beautiful landscape around, possibility to take a bike and make a trip to the next adorable middle age village - just the right things for body&soul. Besides -delicious restaurant with great local cuisine & wine selection. Excellent service and very friendly and attentive staff. It was already my second stay hier and I am absolutely sure that came back soon.

Beautiful place in a stunning location. The staff and facilities were lovely and the food was great. Could not fault it. And whilst this was predominantly a business trip, I will be coming back with my partner next year. The views are amazing!

Incredible hidden gem! The restaurant was five star and our villa (#45) is somewhere we would consider spending a month to work remote. Felt like we truly were at a cozy home, so well appointed. Loved every inch of this property which kept revealing itself with more hidden locations and spaces through the stay. Staff was exceptional!!

Positives: -Great location, close to the best beaches of the Costa Brava. -Staff were helpful and generally friendly organising activities including horse riding for our child. Negatives: -We we’re not advised in advance that our dog was not allowed in any of the restaurants (including the breakfast room). Not even on the restaurant terrace. We paid €60 per night for the dog. This is incredibly disappointing and unlike most 5 star dog friendly hotels around Europe. The only place the dog is welcome across the whole hotel is on a separate terrace. Asking for breakfast on the terrace was incredibly difficult and they were less than pleased- the lady at the restaurant reception was rude about the request. During a rainy day, this creates problems. Best not be a dog “friendly” hotel if in fact it’s basically not. -The garden suite terrace requires ****ing and a proper clean -leaves and paper left on the floor Disappointing that this was not done in advance of our arrival. -The garden suites are noisy. We were woken several times by late arrivals from dinner and cars on the driveway. -On certain days, the noise from the road is evident. -Room service dinner (ordered because of the dog situation), was bland. The pesto pasta could easily pass as store bought. Fries were cold. -Temperature in the gym is a sweltering 26c because of heating.

One of the best hotels I ever stayed in. The staff was excellent and very attentive. Breakfast was of very high quality with a lot of choice. The spa was very nice even if the hot water jakuzi was a bit small. The room was very large, comfortable and tastefully decorated. We took the electric bikes that are given free by the hotel and really enjoyed the short route to Pals. We definitely want to go back when the weather is nicer.

Fabulous property even better staff. We arrived by car, nice warm welcome, smooth check in process, straight into some tennis. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. I recommend this resort to everyone. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

My parents first visited this lovely place 25 years or so ago. For my dad’s 89th birthday, he wanted to go back for dinner. We ate in the restaurant last night and were treated like royalty. The staff were very attentive and the service superb. The food was spectacular. They even brought my dad a birthday cake and champagne, and sang happy birthday to him at the end of the meal. Lovely hotel in a beautiful old building. Great food and we enjoyed relaxing by the pool and playing tennis. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Only criticism is that the service was a little disjointed - no handover between staff. We stayed for a week and had lunch most days but some of the staff didn’t seem to remember us. When organising a bike trip we had to explain it to three different staff members as no one passed on the information between shifts. Not a major problem but stopped our review from being 5 stars. Would definitely return though as it’s such a lovely place.

Mas de Torrent exceeded our expectations! Our suite with a private pool was beautiful, the grounds were amazing, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the food was superb. My only fear is that now every other place we stay will feel subpar. I would visit Mas de Torrent again in a heartbeat!
