We stayed here as a couple for two nights stay. We were shocked by how nice our room was at first glance, seemed very modern and had a cool balcony. However we soon noticed that there were loads and loads of ants on the floor, wardrobe, bathroom. We obviously told the staff who, when we went out, said they sprayed everywhere/surface in the room with I presume bug spray. This was fine I suppose apart from the fact that all of this spray will have gone all over all our belongings and our bed, which isn’t great. Some ants remained but they said there was nothing more they could do. The main thing you want in a hotel is for it to be clean (bug-less) so this was a real downer as we darent put anything on the floor or in the wardrobe incase ants got in it! We then got a visit saying we were being too loud when ironically I was writing a review on the last place we stayed whilst my partner showered, so we certainly weren’t being loud, not even speaking. Aircon was very loud, couldn’t keep it on all night as it sounded like a car, but at least it worked. Breakfast was fine, hot food looked horrible but they had yoghurts and juice which sufficed. Very good location!

I had previously stayed at his property 20 years ago on my first ever visit to Italy and so I was so excited about staying there again. When I booked, via HRS.com, it was stated that the hotel had centralized air conditioning. I booked a rate that was cancellable up until 18.00 without penalty. Upon arrival at the hotel, around 21.00, I found that I was allocated in a decrepit old room that was full of old furniture that was falling apart. There was no air conditioning at all and the shutters had been open all day, which meant that it was over 40 degrees in the room. There was no way I could sleep in there. The reception claimed I had been given an ‘upgrade’ to a 2 bed room (though in what universe a grotty old room could be considered an upgrade is beyond me) and told me there were no other rooms available that night. The room was completely unusable due to the heat and, as a result, I had to get another room at a different hotel for the night, paying for another hotel in the process. The hotel insisted that I pay for the room and have refused to refund me to either my travel agency or my bank. Indeed, the information they gave to my bank was completely incorrect, claiming the room was covered by air conditioning even though it was unbearably hot and there was only a puny small fan that blew the hot air around the room. If they had just refunded me or waived the room fee due to the poor condition of the room, I would have been inclined to give them a second chance. Instead, they have dug in and refused to take responsibility for a situation that is clearly their fault, promising a facility that they did not deliver. This hotel should be absolutely avoided by anyone looking for a good night’s sleep. Moreover, anyone looking for good customer service that has the interest of the customer at heart should also avoid it. My experience has been one of frustration and disappointment. It not only ruined this trip, it also ruined the memories of a trip I took years ago also. Never again.

For those traveling by train, the location is excellent, but I would also recommend it in general to reach all the main attractions in a short walking quarter of the hour. The hotel is very well maintained, spectacular design of the environment (in particular, the bar and breakfast room). In this respect, it is noted for the wide range of buffet and breakfast, sweet and salt, as well as the quality of cocktails and coffee taken at the bar.
Clean and very functional rooms with more than adequate and quiet spaces. I don't know how to judge access to the SPA for payment: 20 euros per person are not very few, but it is true that this guarantees absolute viability of the spaces and the absence of screaming children who are parked for hours in water-massing baths making bomb tuffs.

The front desk uncle is fluent in English and the service is very thoughtful. The room is also in keeping with the best style of best western, with a kettle, drying racks and so on. Located next to the city center train station, it is very convenient. The price is also very reasonable and worth recommending!

We stayed 4 nights in this Hotel in May 2022. Paid quite a high price during those periods, possibly because of many concerts/matches and the fact not many hotels available around those dates made us choose this one. Temperature was around 26-30 degC during our stay. So the room was very hot. There is no fan, we have to open the window throughout the day to get some fresh air. However at night there were so much noises across the street, people were shouting, traffic, noises from the cars buzzing around really disturbed my quality of sleep. Wifi in the room was also very weak and I had always problems accessing wifi from my laptop (sometimes i need to be online to check my work emails/meetings). The room was also a bit old, interior is kind of dusty and maintenance can be done a lot better to improve the quality of guest stay. I came to Turin to watch a concert and expecting a calm/relaxed holiday. Had i known the situation earlier I would not book this hotel and choose rather calm, a bit outside of the city that allow us to rest after long day exploring in Turin. One thing that was good is the reception worker is very polite and tried their best to help us with information.

Great little hotel. I picked this place because of the reviews and was not disappointed. The staff are kind and thoughtful, and I appreciated all of my interactions. It's a simple little hotel in a good location for wandering the city. San Salvario (the neighborhood) is better for the evenings, with not much to write home about in the day time, but there are dozens of restaurants within blocks. It's about 15 mins to Piazza Castello (sort of tourist center of the city), and the walk is largely pleasant. The room (I had a room with private bath and a queen bed) was comfortable and a nice size. I did not see the dorm so cannot comment on that. I gave it 5 stars based on price-range, so note that this is not a ”5 star hotel”, it's a great budget option.

I wish there were a bathtub because the bathroom was more than spacious. The shower was cheap. Otherwise, I loved the room with a high ceiling of 4330mm. This hotel only has city views facing the North and the South, but it is enjoyable and much better than NH's closed courtyard view. I loved the generous welcome drink at the bar. The receptionists were very nice and friendly and tried to fulfill my request as much as possible. And the building is beautiful, and the room is designed so well that it is functional. Next time I have anything in Lingotto, I will choose this hotel. The only downside is the hotel is a bit far from the metro station or bus stop, especially when you are with luggage.

E abbiamo detto tutto. Buona estate

Outstanding
Our room was amazing. Even though it's a hostel, we got a room far away from students, and they set up a special bed for our 5 year old. (We assumed he'd have to sleep with us.) It's a great place for a family, actually. There's a nice cafe downstairs, and board games. Everyone was super super kind, and remembered us... Roberto at the desk is a star! The room came equipped with a hairdryer, USB ports at the bed, coffee/tea, a safe, and little fridge. We came for Eurovision, and on the night of the Grand Final hundreds of us got locked out of Eurovision village because they had reached capacity. It was very (very) frustrating. That said, we watched it in our room with other fans, so for us this hotel really worked out, as we were even able to save the evening from disaster.
GGuest UserAlthough the location is a bit faraway from the train station, our stay here was great and we enjoyed the service. The rooms was spacious and there's a balcony with inside view. However it's a little bit strange that the balcony is connected with other rooms. Staffs were welcoming and there's a great variety of Italian and European breakfasts.
MMadamearnoI requested a room with a bathtub and mountain view, but neither of my wishes was fulfilled. The receptionist made excuses such as the hotel being fully booked and bathtubs being taken out nowadays for sustainability reasons, and he did not look like he was trying hard to find one for me. Hotels are the place to relax, and bathtubs should not be sacrificed. I moved from Double Tree next door just wishing for a bathtub and a nice view, but I don't think I will return to NH because the room and staff were better at Double Tree if I could not have them anyway. The 500ml bottle of water in the fridge cost €3, whereas it did €2 at Double Tree. The room equipment was much better at Double Tree. Here at NH, there are no electric outlets near the bed. I was surprised. The only upside is that NH is closer to the metro station, but the metro was not running while I was there. Location-wise, I recommend this hotel for those who drive here. Parking is plenty.
I recently stayed at Opera35 for two nights, but unfortunately, the experience was marred by poor service. Upon arrival, I was informed that there were no parking slots available for the first night (the hotel has, in fact, only 5 parking slots in front of it, while the private garage is at around 8 min walking). However, the receptionist did manage to secure a slot for the second night. Unfortunately, when I returned the next evening, I found that the slot was already occupied by another car. The gentleman at the front desk provided excuses but no solution. Additionally, I was not informed that the hotel is located in a ZTL (limited traffic zone) area until I realized it myself. When I asked for information, I was told that I should have paid a fee for the zone, which I found unacceptable (other hotels manage to get an exemption for it for their guests). During the shift change, the new staff member at the front desk suggested that I should have registered and paid for the access by myself, after my insistence, he said he could access to the system with the hotel’s credentials and asked me to make the request (I literally stepped back to the front desk and made the request myself). I did expect a higher level of service from a boutique hotel in a prime location, priced at over 200 euros per night. While the location and breakfast are amazing, and the rooms are satisfactory, the front desk service is subpar. Overall, I would rate the hotel as 0.
GGuest UserLocation is great near Porta Nuova rail station, and minutes walk to Via Roma and the wonderful piazzas of Turin. It is always a pleasure to stay at a renovated hotel. The rooms are clean bright and spacious, quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious, clean and very comfortable Bed was very comfy Breakfast could be better, as well as waiters attitude. The staff was generally very friendly and helpful, but we have to mention one mostly unpleasant employee whose attitude was not less than disgusting. Since we had to leave, after 2 nights stay, at 2:00 am, we asked upon our arrival, and received the permission to stay at the lobby till our taxi arrives. As we returned to the hotel around 11:00pm, asking for our luggage, this employee explained us that it is not normal to sit in the lobby for 3 hours, while he fas free rooms upstairs. We teravel really a lot, and met different attitudes at hotels, but I cannot remember anything so shameful. Only after I asked if he was actually evicting us, he replied no, and repeated twice that it was not normal or acceptable. I really want to believe that this is an exception.
GGuest UserI'm a fan of NH collection group however this time was not impressed as usual. Staffs weren't really welcoming, maybe we were check-in quite late at around 10pm. The room wasn't as spacious as others hotels in the group and the view outside is awful. Also the sound proofing was terrible and we could hear a huge sound from the ceiling in the morning. However, the room is clean I will still choose the NH group but not this hotel when I travel to Turin next time.
We had stayed there with a friend. Location is excellent, room is old (but it’s normal for italy standards); HOWEVER the education and respect level of the staff is why i give the bare minimum. I wouldn’t even give 1*. In my first night i had to quickly go to the door to pickup my order, on my way to the door the guy at the reception yells “wait, leave the keys”, as i tell him to wait 10 seconds he keeps yelling at me at the lobby repeating ‘ASPETTA ASPETTA LE CHIAVE DEVI LASCIARLI’.. Like c*glione who the hell do you think you are to yell at me? I was so busy that i couldn’t deal with the IGNORANT guy at the desk, however it is definitely worth noting the lack of education the staff has. The day before we were leaving the hotel, we got permission to leave the room 1h after the deadline time, though in the morning they called and the ONLY and FIRST thing they say was “Dovete uscire” (you have to leave). No respect, no education, staff who do not know how to speak to people. I was there with my friend at the time but if I was with someone important, the events could have been MUCH more different.. This thing is so not acceptible for hotels that they made me write my first and only review.. Hoping they get treated as they do.
I stayed at this hotel for a week in June, and the customer service really stands out from the rest. The staff is available and equally positive regardless of the time of day. I was a little unlucky with the AC in my room and had to change rooms initially, but the AC still didn't work there. A girl from the front desk came over several times and stayed until she made sure the problem was solved. On our early morning flight home, the receptionist on occasion helped us with a taxi during the night. He made sure we got coffee and breakfast to take away, even though we only had a few minutes before the taxi arrived. They helped us a lot with great advices for restaurants nearby as well. I highly recommend this hotel.
After my experience in this hotel, I have learned once for all that it's better not to be influenced too much by the negative (and sometimes also positive) reviews here in tripadvisor. I just wanted to tell that in my case everything was perfect: I stayed in a clean and overall good room, receptionists were polite and helpful, breakfast in the morning was very good, just what I should expect from a 3 star hotel, and actually the croissants were warm and just fresh. The communication with the hotel was perfect from the very beginning. Honestly I couldn't find any fault in anything. So I can really recommend this hotel for visiting the city, as the metro stop is also very near
GGuest User真的非常好,物超所值!雖然設施有點舊,但是在意大利也正常,房間裏超級乾淨,位置離火車站很近,走路大概兩分鐘就到了,工作人員態度也很好。下次如果來還住。
Very good. It is very clean and tidy, although the equipment is a little bit old, which is acceptable. It is near the train station. It took us only about 2 min to walk there. The staff are very friendly. I will choose to stay at the same hotel if I go to Turin again in the future.
