It's a great campsite. All the facilities are clean and well kept. The kids love the freedom of roaming around and having their own play field. It's great for a group of gamilies together. We come back every year and love it. The owners are so lovely and helpful and friendly.

We visit this campsite regularly, with our last trip at the beginning of June, the facilities are excellent and always clean and tidy. The owners are really friendly and understand what campers need. There is plenty on site for families and the bbq on a Friday night is great.

I think this was our 6th visit to this campsite for our annual camping trip with friends. This is a gem of a campsite and I’ve been a little hesitant to leave a review as I kind of want to keep it a secret. It’s that good I don’t want them to be fully booked and miss out next year. Maria and Guy are so helpful, the site is really well maintained. There is ample loo roll, hand soap and hot water. I’ve never struggled to get a shower (which are cleaned so regularly they don’t feel like campsite showers). In fact the facilities are always kept clean. Each year we talk about trying out somewhere else in the country but end up back here as all the children love it, as do the parents. If you’re lucky enough to camp on a Friday night the weekly BBQ is amazing and such a treat. Make sure you book on in time. Over the years we have enjoyed visits to Southwold, Walberwick for crabbing, Aldeburgh, Thorpness, National Trust at Dunwich and Sutton Hoo to name a few days out. But it’s equally lovely to just hang around the campsite and relax.

What a lovely site in a great location! Ideal for exploring Suffolk and South Norfolk. Its on a quiet road with minimal traffic but not far from the A12. It had everything we needed and is well-organised(without too much signage) and spotlessly clean. The pitches are huge and there are plenty of toilets and showers, with lots of hot water and a large washer and dryer at a reasonable price. Lots for kids to do with a big play barn and a communal covered area with lots of picnic tables. The owners couldn't be more helpful and their bbq, croissants, pain au chocolat and breakfast rolls are not to be missed! One of the best sites we have ever stayed at. Thank you Roz, Pete and Chris

Lovely stay at this very lovely campsite! Children loved the play area, traverse wall, table tennis and go carts. Spacious pitches and spotless facilities, showers were great. A quiet site, perfect for families, owners extremely welcoming and helpful. Easy journey to the Suffolk coast for a trip out. Would definitely visit again!

Lovely stay at The Croft, very peaceful, great facilities, lovely clean showers and toilets which were also nice and warm. Hired a firepit for two nights which we pre-booked and it was ready for us on arrival. We walked to the next village for Sunday lunch in the pub. Lovely walk through woodland by a stream - shame weather wasn't better but it was only March! Would stay again if in the area - great site for a nice peaceful stay - no road noise at all either.

A cold and at times wet Easter weekend … however returning to the Croft at the start of the season makes for a fab weekend. Every year Guy and Maria tweak perfection a little more . Copious hot water , big pitches, super clean bathrooms , fabulous hosts , a secure dog field and Sunday breakfast … I could go on but come and see it for yourselves if you want to see campsites at their very best

Wonderful weekend of music and dancing at the Croftfest. A welcome break from usual stuff that irritates, can relax completely here and enjoy the music and food and company. Great weekend for all, weather was perfect which helped.

We've been here several times now camping with our family including grandchildren. The Croft is a beautiful site which is friendly and well run. Guy and Maria are so welcoming. The pitches are level and well maintained. The toilet and shower block is lovely with plenty of hot water. The washing up area is good with a washing machine and tumble dryer which can be used for £3 each. We love the old carriage building which has fridges and freezers for campers' use and plenty of picnic tables. Great for get togethers or enjoying the Friday evening BBQs. There's an area for playing ball games and the off lead dog area is very pretty. Our grandchildren love the play area and the barn which has table tennis and other indoor games. There are some nice pubs serving food in the surrounding villages. Definitely our favourite site!
