I think this was our 6th visit to this campsite for our annual camping trip with friends. This is a gem of a campsite and I’ve been a little hesitant to leave a review as I kind of want to keep it a secret. It’s that good I don’t want them to be fully booked and miss out next year. Maria and Guy are so helpful, the site is really well maintained. There is ample loo roll, hand soap and hot water. I’ve never struggled to get a shower (which are cleaned so regularly they don’t feel like campsite showers). In fact the facilities are always kept clean. Each year we talk about trying out somewhere else in the country but end up back here as all the children love it, as do the parents. If you’re lucky enough to camp on a Friday night the weekly BBQ is amazing and such a treat. Make sure you book on in time. Over the years we have enjoyed visits to Southwold, Walberwick for crabbing, Aldeburgh, Thorpness, National Trust at Dunwich and Sutton Hoo to name a few days out. But it’s equally lovely to just hang around the campsite and relax.
