"When we checked in, I mentioned wanting to check out the room types, and they showed us the same type on the top floor. I really liked the small terrace next to it and asked if we could stay upstairs. The staff said that the room rates in Weishan had gone up the day before our check-in, now it was 410 yuan per room. I didn't think much of it at the time and paid the difference. But, looking at the online platforms now, the hotel doesn't have any rooms for 410 yuan."

"The room was clean and quiet! The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from Weishan Ancient City. The staff were very attentive; after check-out, they promptly called to inform us that we had left our reading glasses in the room. We are very grateful to the hotel staff! There are two inconveniences with this newly opened hotel: First, breakfast is outsourced to a roadside stall and only includes a bowl of noodles or rice noodles. Eggs are extra, which is incredibly stingy! A breakfast costing over 300 yuan a day is far too meager! The lack of hot dishes and milk is bad enough, but charging extra for eggs is probably unique to this hotel in the Jinjiang Inn chain nationwide. Second, there are about ten steps from the parking lot to the elevator, which is very difficult and inconvenient for guests with luggage (parking is not allowed in front of the hotel). A ramp should be provided for guests' convenience."

"This is lovely hotel, by far the best option, in the charming town of Weishan. This is a much less touristy option than some of the more well known old towns around the Dali area, where you can escape the throngs of tourists. The hotel is beautifully designed and restored, breakfast is enjoyable, and the staff are friendly, helpful, and discrete. The staff even went out of their way and helped me find a local vendor to purchase a few copper plates that I saw in the hotel room. Thank you for a wonderful stay."
