GGuest UserThe guesthouse boasts a superb location in the heart of Weishan County, right next to the ancient city, making it incredibly convenient to get around. The rooms are newly renovated and largely voice-controlled. The receptionist was very friendly and polite. The cleanliness was excellent, and the mattresses and pillows were new and of just the right firmness. The windows were also well-insulated with soundproof glass. The only downside was that my room faced a basketball court; I wouldn't recommend it for those who are light sleepers. Overall, it was a great guesthouse, thumbs up! I hope it continues to improve and stays on track.

FFaiza LeithTo escape the frenzy of Kunming ancient town, we took a 2.5 hr train ride to Weishan - an authentic, uncommercialized old town with the splendid Yuan Chuang Yi Su hotel.
The bed is super comfortable, and the window seat great for relaxing after a truly hot shower. Sanitized towels are delivered daily in sealed bags and CGTN for foreign guests is available on a huge TV!
Yuan Chuang Yi Su's owner is a Mensch. His fluency in English and passion for his adopted town enriched our China trip. He sensed my vegetarian needs and whisked me off to the local market!
Yuan Chuang Yi Su is the smartest, but the least expensive of our 28 day trip in Guangdong - Yunnan.
We relished the smart set-up, the gleaming interior and delightful neighborhood of eateries.
The hotel is truly a train-rider's dream: just 25 minute walk away from Weishan Railway station and 5 minutes from the inexpensive tourist buses that take you as far as Weibaoshan and East Lotus Village.

zhaoyueI really like Donglianhua Village, which has a strong Islamic style. The owner of the inn, Pony, is super handsome and enthusiastic. He invited me to have dinner. His courtyard is clean and beautiful, and the rooms are also full of ethnic style, with small horse lanterns. The caravan culture is very authentic. I feel like I am a Ma Guotou. It is very convenient to go to Weishan Ancient City from the village. There is a minibus at the entrance of the village, which goes directly to Weishan Ancient City. The bus runs every half an hour. If you catch up with the market day, you can take the minibus. Go to Dianzhong Street or Temple Street to see the rich market. There is cattle and sheep trading. It is very interesting. It is a good place to learn more about Weishan County. The people are simple and warm. I like it very much.

GGuest UserWe visited Weishan with friends, and we were surprised by the relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant owner. A taxi ride from the high-speed rail station to Fanji Spicy Hot Pot Restaurant in the ancient city was only five minutes away, and the owner was already there to pick us up.
The owner was incredibly welcoming and attentive, helping us with our luggage and explaining that Weishan is very safe – the kind of place where people don't steal anything and doors are left unlocked at night. You can eat and stroll around freely without any scams.
The winding path led us into a secluded courtyard bathed in sunlight from all sides – it was so comfortable to bask in the winter sun!
The room was well-equipped with air conditioning, a laundry room, a tea room, tea sets, earplugs, disposable towels and bath towels, and even disinfected towels and bath towels. There was also a small refrigerator and conditioner… very thoughtful.
The environment was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The location is right in the ancient city, right next to the pedestrian street.
The service, environment, and location are all highly recommended… truly excellent!
Another incredibly lucky thing happened – the owner was going to a banquet and took us along, allowing us to experience local customs. We got to eat and drink for free, and they even gave us rice cakes as a parting gift. The locals were so hospitable; the experience was fantastic!

NNibbler IYou don't usually expect much from a hotel near a railway station, but this one's actually pretty decent and the owners are super welcoming. We even got upgraded to a bigger room with a mahjong table and spent a good chunk of time playing card games. The room comes with TV, AC, hairdryer, few bottles of water, some tea, and toiletries. Keep in mind: all rooms have squat toilets. Still, for the price, I'm really happy with this stay

The sun shines brightly, bathing the entire courtyard. Enjoy a cup of tea, a hammock, a book, or some time to simply relax and unwind, immersing yourself in the leisurely pace of life in the ancient city.
The room was clean and tidy, the decor was cozy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a wonderful sleep.
At night, the courtyard glows with warm yellow lights, and you'll occasionally run into other guests and chat. Everyone is so friendly, and you never feel lonely.
Overall, this stay was truly wonderful. If you're a solo traveler, or simply looking for a quiet and beautiful place to relax, I highly recommend this courtyard and will definitely stay here again.

The restored house retains its original charm; the wooden floorboards creak gently underfoot, and the exquisite wood and brick carvings exude a timeless elegance. The guesthouse is simply and elegantly furnished, without unnecessary embellishments. Here, you don't need to rush or plan your trip; simply enjoy the slow pace of life. This healing and relaxing experience made me want to stay two more nights and never leave. I'll definitely be back!

GGuest UserThis hotel is really good value for money. Among hotels of the same price, this one offers first-class quality and service. The room is bright and simply decorated. Although the facilities and equipment are not luxurious, they can fully meet daily needs. The bed was comfortable and I had a good sleep every night. The price is very affordable and it is definitely worth the money.
The hotel is equipped with an elevator, which is very convenient for people with luggage or limited mobility. You can easily reach your room without having to climb stairs.
I am also very satisfied with the convenience of life around me. There is a wide variety of shops, supermarkets and restaurants in the direct surroundings of the hotel. Whether you want to buy some daily necessities or taste local delicacies, everything is just a few steps away. You can meet various needs in life by just going out. It is also very close to the ancient city. In short, highly recommended 👍👍👍

The room has little to none surfaces to put your own stuff. Room had no table, I had to ask for one, and it was delivered. So at least they tried to deliver an acceptable service.
You can hear how your neighbors from all sides take shower or use toilet. Constant sound of loud running water. Sound isolation is terrible. After listening to all that for few hours, I packed my stuff and went to a nearby hotel.
Would not recommend to anyone.
