"The homestays are all decorated with logs, solid wood carvings everywhere, natural wood grains of doors and windows, with warm lights, ancient and quiet.
The room is large and the equipment is very complete. The projection, small degree, air conditioning, smart toilet are all available. There are cotton towels and disposable face towels and bath towels. The boss is also very enthusiastic, take the initiative to help with luggage, check-in is also very fast, the room also prepared anti-mosquito liquid intimately. GGuest UserStaying four times in a row for three consecutive years, you can see the absolute affirmation of Minyue Xiaozhu! The location is excellent, one step away from the bustling ancient city; if you don't want to be too noisy, it is also very comfortable to bask in the sun, drink tea and chat in the yard. I want to move it, there is a table tennis table on the first floor, and the whole family likes it very much. By the way, the beautiful boss and family are very friendly, and the sugar water and rice cakes on the first day of the new year are very amazing!

In the end, I still tried it. The stay was very good, the boss was warm and polite, and fully showed the essence of our Yunnan people, Dali people, simple and kind. The room is comfortable, I don’t know if it’s a new decoration, but the cleanliness is real, the refreshing is also true, there are free snacks and small happy water, the children are very happy, not worth a few dollars but people feel very good ～ The location is really good, that is, not in the core old city, The house will not be so old and cramped, it is on the edge of this small ancient city, and it is also in the ancient city, and the check-in points of the park, the Confucian Temple, and the Pioneer Bookstore around the ancient city are basically covered within ten minutes. Finally, let’s talk about those bad reviews. Can you say that everyone has their own standards, some bad reviews are indeed a bit critical. In addition, the bathroom facing the bed is really unreasonable. No matter from the perspective, experience or physical health, it is not good. But the architectural design is already like this. FFaiza LeithTo escape the frenzy of Kunming ancient town, we took a 2.5 hr train ride to Weishan - an authentic, uncommercialized old town with the splendid Yuan Chuang Yi Su hotel.
The bed is super comfortable, and the window seat great for relaxing after a truly hot shower. Sanitized towels are delivered daily in sealed bags and CGTN for foreign guests is available on a huge TV!
Yuan Chuang Yi Su's owner is a Mensch. His fluency in English and passion for his adopted town enriched our China trip. He sensed my vegetarian needs and whisked me off to the local market!
Yuan Chuang Yi Su is the smartest, but the least expensive of our 28 day trip in Guangdong - Yunnan.
We relished the smart set-up, the gleaming interior and delightful neighborhood of eateries.
The hotel is truly a train-rider's dream: just 25 minute walk away from Weishan Railway station and 5 minutes from the inexpensive tourist buses that take you as far as Weibaoshan and East Lotus Village.

The guesthouse is a traditional courtyard house with wooden buildings, exuding a classic charm. The courtyard is lush with flowers and trees, and there are several tea tables for relaxation, making it a truly pleasant place! The rooms were clean and tidy, and the owner was warm and patient.

zhaoyueI really like Donglianhua Village, which has a strong Islamic style. The owner of the inn, Pony, is super handsome and enthusiastic. He invited me to have dinner. His courtyard is clean and beautiful, and the rooms are also full of ethnic style, with small horse lanterns. The caravan culture is very authentic. I feel like I am a Ma Guotou. It is very convenient to go to Weishan Ancient City from the village. There is a minibus at the entrance of the village, which goes directly to Weishan Ancient City. The bus runs every half an hour. If you catch up with the market day, you can take the minibus. Go to Dianzhong Street or Temple Street to see the rich market. There is cattle and sheep trading. It is very interesting. It is a good place to learn more about Weishan County. The people are simple and warm. I like it very much.

C’était propre et très confortable, l’emplacement parfait et très calme !! J’ai eu la chance d’être la seule dans l’étabissement mais je recommande vraiment, une belle convivialité peut se créer avec d’autres voyageurs ! Le soir il faisait un peu froid à l’extérieur mais pas du tout dans la chambre ! Je serai bien resté quelques jours de plus 😍

SSimConverted shop house into homestay inn, along the major highway outside the train station. Location is just opposite the station of about 500m. Room is spacious and clean with squat toilet. Water for bath is hot essential during the cold weather. Waking distance of about 1km to ancient town town or take electric shuttle if RMB 2 per trip.

GGuest UserIt is very convenient to be next to the snack street in the ancient city, and it is also very close to the central street of the ancient city; the boss is very enthusiastic! He will recommend a lot of food that only locals eat, and often organize activities and dinners to go around. During the Mid-Autumn Festival, friends from other places came back to celebrate the festival together, and the festive atmosphere was full; you can also cook in the youth hostel, and there are chefs among the friends who travel with you, and there are dogs to play with; I originally wanted to stay for three days, but later I slowly got to know Weishan and liked the people here more. I had a super good time with my friends in the youth hostel, and I kept staying and didn’t want to leave; I will come back next time if I have the chance!

The restored house retains its original charm; the wooden floorboards creak gently underfoot, and the exquisite wood and brick carvings exude a timeless elegance. The guesthouse is simply and elegantly furnished, without unnecessary embellishments. Here, you don't need to rush or plan your trip; simply enjoy the slow pace of life. This healing and relaxing experience made me want to stay two more nights and never leave. I'll definitely be back!

The room has little to none surfaces to put your own stuff. Room had no table, I had to ask for one, and it was delivered. So at least they tried to deliver an acceptable service.
You can hear how your neighbors from all sides take shower or use toilet. Constant sound of loud running water. Sound isolation is terrible. After listening to all that for few hours, I packed my stuff and went to a nearby hotel.
Would not recommend to anyone.
