DoubleTree by Hilton Lisle Naperville

When we first walked in, their was someone standing at the front desk waiting to greet us, unlike most hotels where you have to wait around for somebody's help. We received cookies, which were a pleasant surprise, extremely delicious, and warm. Check in was really easy, the person at the front desk was very pleasant we could tell she liked her job, she was also efficient and fast. The room was very clean and didn't smell like pets or cigarettes, like most hotel rooms do even though they say they are non smoking. We did notice the furniture was outdated and heavily used; however it is  expected, because it is a hotel room. We did not come to sit in the room and look at the 4 walls, we wanted to experience the amenities the hotel provides.     I walked in with low expectations because every hotel I've been to with a pool and a hot tub one or the other does not work. This is even after calling the hotel before booking a reservation we end up being disappointed. I was extremely satisfied when both the pool and hot tub were operational and clean. The pool towels were actually on the deck so you didn't have to go to the front desk to get them. There was an incident at the pool with 3 young teens who couldn't handle a certain kind of substance and the one ended up vomiting and all the girls ran away with out reporting it. When we called the front desk they came quickly and cleaned it up. There was a small fitness center off to the side of the pool and was well kept and clean.  Breakfast was organized, the food was cooked in variation, which I enjoyed, because I do not like my food overdone. The waiter was super friendly and very attentive to our needs they will definitely have my business again.

Service was fast and friendly and the environment/ neighborhood it was in was very posh and elegant. Very close to many places we’ve never been to before. Yummy breakfast at honey jam and it was right next a crumbl cookie! Can you tell we are from Ohio yet? Also highly recommend if you want a travel tattoo noodles tattoo was only a 5ish minute drive from the hotel and all of their staff was also amazing. Just expressing that this was a very good stay and will be back in the near future

If you need a quick pit stop without looking around too much this is for you. This hotel is VERY dated and the beds are not comfortable. The blankets and bedding are a nice heavy weight and lovely though. Everything is dirty from age and time, our room had pieces of wallpaper missing all together and the base boards haven't been cleaned in years. The TV was so old we couldn't plug our hdmi into it because it couldn't support. No one offered us the cookies they offer when we got there, we had to ask for them and the staff seemed perpetually annoyed. You get what you pay for I guess.

The place wasn't busy at all so it was quiet. I called 2 days ahead to make sure the pool and hot tub were working and they confirmed it was, but the hot tub wasn't working when we checked in. It may have just broken the day before. I don't know. Unfortunately, there is nothing within walking distance so you will have to get a ride wherever you want to go. The restaurant is on site but kinda pricey. Pool was nice and at a decent temperature. They have a nice workout room. Room was nice and clean. Overall for the price it was very nice but just nothing within walking distance from there.

Nice comfortable beds. Nice spacious room. Great breakfast buffet. No mini fridge. Hot tub was being repaired. Overall I would stay here anytime.

The hotel was not at all as advertised. It was old, dirty and very unkept. Very poor customer service at the restaurant. The housekeeping staff did a poor job and at least one was quite rude. We would never stay here again!! If I could give negative stars I would do so.

This is the third stay in the hotel. It is extremely family friendly and the staff is always super courteous. The only thing I could place as a downside is there is no mini fridge in the room. Traveling with kids, we always have leftovers from dinner and no where to safely store them in the room. There is a microwave in the check in area, so re heating is not really a problem :) The beds are super comfy!

The property itself was nice. The room was spacious. I was a bit disappointed that there was no mini frig in the room.
