Kailaixi Hotel (Wuhan Yellow Crane Tower Tanhualin)

Stayed for two nights, visited the museums, strolled through Tanhualin and Hubu Alley, and enjoyed the night view light show by the Yangtze River – it was incredibly relaxing. Coming to Wuhan at this time of year was perfect, neither too hot nor too cold. The staff provided excellent service, and the breakfast spread was fantastic. Highly satisfied!

The room wasn't huge, but it was very clean, and the bed was really comfortable. The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful, even giving us some warm tips when we checked in. The location is great, not far from the port and Yellow Crane Tower. Plus, you can catch beautiful sunset and night views of the river from the upper floors. The Wuhan Museum Ferry is right across the street too!

This hotel boasts an excellent location! The rooms are tidy, clean, and comfortable. It's conveniently close to Simenkou Metro Station, surrounded by Wuhan's major landmarks like the Yellow Crane Tower, Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge, Hubu Alley, Tanhualin, and Liangdao Street. The staff are warm and attentive; the front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant staff are all very friendly. Our butler Lele was incredibly helpful, answering all our questions and even recommending classic sightseeing routes. Overall, staying at this hotel made our trip to Wuhan a fantastic experience and left a wonderful impression! We'll definitely choose this hotel again if we return to Wuhan.

From the front desk to the concierge-style service, I felt so welcomed and at home in a foreign place. The travel guide, from food to scenic spots, was incredibly detailed. I especially appreciated the thoughtful reminder to close the windows at night to avoid noise, and the option to switch to a lower pillow or get a steam eye mask – all very considerate! 👍👍👍 Many thanks to "Security Officer 001" for giving us two bottles of mineral water as we left, worried we'd need them on our long drive. The hotel's location is excellent, just under 500 meters from Exit C of Simenkou Yellow Crane Tower Station. Major landmarks like the Yellow Crane Tower, Yangtze River Bridge, riverside pier, Hubu Alley, and Liangdao Street are all within a ten-minute walk. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. While the hotel isn't new and the facilities show some age, everything in the rooms works perfectly without any functional issues. The staff, including the front desk and housekeepers, are very friendly. Lele, our WeChat concierge, was particularly attentive, always ready to answer questions and check in on us. The rooftop restaurant offers clear views of the Yellow Crane Tower and the bridge through sparkling clean windows, making it a perfect spot for photos. You can spot the hotel by its green glass facade from the Yangtze River Bridge.

Excellent location, and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic – so much variety and everything you could want! Plus, you can enjoy a great view of the river and Yellow Crane Tower from the top floor. The area around the hotel is also really nice for a stroll. I'll definitely be back!

Came to Wuhan for a three-day trip with my family during the May Day holiday. After a long search, I chose this hotel, which is conveniently located right at Simenkou Metro Station, Huanghelou stop. As soon as you exit the subway, you can turn around and see the Yellow Crane Tower. The hotel is just over 100 meters to the left when you exit the community. The location is excellent. Just over 100 meters to the west of the hotel is Hubu Alley snack street, and to the east is Liangdao Street, where you can easily find all sorts of snacks and breakfast options. The hotel's breakfast was a bit average, not a very rich selection, so you might consider booking without breakfast and trying some local snacks nearby. However, there's a nice photo spot on the top floor. Overall, it's good, and the location is fantastic. The staff are also very friendly, and there's even a dedicated concierge. Overall, highly recommended.

The hotel's location is superb, making it incredibly convenient to visit attractions like Yellow Crane Tower, Hubu Alley, and Tan Hualin. The breakfast spread is also fantastic. From the 12th-floor observation restaurant, you get a clear and amazing view of the Yangtze River Bridge and Yellow Crane Tower! Plus, there's a kids' play area! The hotel service is excellent, especially our concierge, Lele, who was incredibly thoughtful. They even considered our needs and offered a lower pillow, which was a very considerate and wonderful touch!

The room was decent. It's close to the subway station, making it easy to get to Yellow Crane Tower and the riverside. Liangdao Street is right next door, with lots of food options, which was very convenient. Being by the road, there's some traffic noise, but it's not an issue for deep sleepers. The concierge was great, and the staff were all very friendly.
