Hotels in Gulangyu Scenic Area, Xiamen

Came here to participate in the breakfast run on Gulangyu Island. The hotel is particularly convenient. The location is also easy to find. The lady is very nice. I will stay here again next time I come. Five stars five stars. recommend

The homestay is small and fresh, and is close to the food street. The front desk guy was enthusiastic and took the initiative to bring the luggage upstairs. We originally booked a small room, and there may not be many guests in the off-season. The guy also let us choose one of the two rooms, which was very considerate. The recommended food was also delicious. At night, my husband may have had a fever and dizziness due to acclimatization. The guy also provided cold medicine and a thermometer. Thanks to the warm guy, your business is booming🌹🌹

I loved this hotel. It is well designed and the staff were very friendly and willing to help. They have a dedicated wechat that you can contact for help during anytime if the day. It was easy to find, not far from the ferry pier and they sent be directions a day before arriving. The hotel was also near to a beach. The breakfast was fully vegetarian and it was absolutely delicious and well presented . The room itself was a little small, and the only issue was the shower was in the middle between the basin and the toilet. However there was an issue with my first room and they upgraded me to a better room. This room was bigger and the shower was bigger and also not in the middle. The room was clean and they provide free drinks . Due to the covid outbreak in Xiamen I was due to stay here six days but only ended up staying 2 nights as I needed to leave Xiamen . The hotel was kind enough to fully refund me the 4 nights I had booked and this was a major plus on their side. On check out they gave me some water while I was waiting and it was absolutely delicious. I would recommend this hotel .

If you choose to stay on the island, choose Yangtao Courtyard, it's so comfortable! A big tree covers the entire courtyard. This courtyard is very comfortable. We rested well. The front desk guy was super enthusiastic. He helped with the luggage, told us the story of the courtyard, and gave us a hand-drawn map to introduce us to the surrounding attractions. We chose the twilight tatami, which was very comfortable to sleep on, and the breakfast was also very appetizing. All the services were great. Next time I come, I will choose Yangtao Courtyard~

The room is small, but enough, the layout is rules, quiet. The sanitation is very clean, the service is good, and the air conditioning heating is a bit slow. Breakfast is OK, not self-service. Sometimes I hear the sound in the corridor of the stairs. It may be that the sound insulation of the door is not good, but it does not affect the rest. Overall it is still very good, and the soft connection of the shower head is broken, not that I broke it, it broke before I came.

Excellent hotel! I love it very much. Clean, big and modern room. The bed is very comfortable. Very good equipped bathroom. Very good location close to the harbour. The breakfast very tasty.

”Lanting” is a small white building. Let me talk about the two front desk guys first. They are very sunny and enthusiastic. They really provide attentive service and answer all questions. The two recommended restaurants ”Shangyu Aquatic Products” and ”Lin Sixi Private Kitchen” are super on point, giving them five-star praise! As for the environment, it is basically a straight line distance from Sanqiutian Pier to the store. It takes about 15 minutes to walk. It is not close or far on the island, but it is only 3 minutes away from the ”Dadeji Bathing Beach”, and you can be on the most beautiful beach. Facing the ”Double Knife” across the sea, it is an excellent location to watch the sunrise. Unfortunately, it was cloudy on the day we went to the island and we were not able to catch the sunrise as we wished. However, we did go to enjoy the sea breeze at 6:30 in the morning. After riding the morning waves, I was quite satisfied. Next, let’s talk about the facilities. Because this is a B&B, I made some mental preparations in advance and told myself that it cannot be compared with a five-star hotel. However, I also chose the most expensive room type. I went for the room with a bathtub, but when I checked in, I was told that the bathtub faucet ”just happened” to be broken. Then I went back to the hotel after shopping in the evening. I wanted to make a cup of tea, but I was informed that today's ”mineral water” was just gone. Finally, after taking a shower, I lowered my head and looked for it. The room ”doesn't have a hair dryer”. I checked the time and it was a bit late. , there is no need for trouble, just let it dry naturally under the warm air in the bathroom... Therefore, the check-in experience can only be average, and the hygiene can only be average. The ”Xiao Zhi Butler” is covered with dust, and the socket has a It’s still out of date, especially the calendar on the bookshelf is still stuck on “16”. These details need to be improved in order to win the true love of tourists!

This hotel is nicely located as the garden right outside of yhe hotel is lovely! It’s close to the beach and easy to find as it’s near the art park which is written on many signs around the island. Service was great! Room was clean and modern and bed was very nice to sleep on-perfect firmness!! ❤️ would highly recommend it as a base on the island. :) it’s also right across one of the terminals.

The boss paid great attention to details, and the corners of the bathroom were also very clean. It was rainy these days. The bathroom had a heater similar to self-heating, which was just enough to wash some small clothes every day, and they were dry the next day. Environment: It was quiet and secluded. This is an old villa. The boss also planted a lot of flowers in the ”backyard”, which was very beautiful. When you come back tired of shopping, you can drink tea and chat quietly in the front and back yards. Facilities: It's a house with years at first glance, but it was cleaned up by the boss and the cleaning lady. Every room has wooden floors, but the sound insulation is very good. It wasn't until I checked out that I knew that there was also a guest with children living next door, and they would not be disturbed by each other. Service: The most worth mentioning is the service. When we went to the beach to play, the boss would take the initiative to tell us that there were toys for digging sand here, so we didn't need to buy them. He also personally made coffee and breakfast for us. In just two days, I was still not satisfied. It is worthy of being a hotel with no bad reviews on the island. It's really so good~

The hotel is less than 5 minutes away from the ferry terminal, which makes travel very convenient and the environment very elegant. I found her hotel on the second day after arriving on the island and stayed there for 5 consecutive days. The owner and hotel staff were very warm and thoughtful. They answered all my questions and recommended the surrounding special foods and attractions. The breakfast sandwiches were also very good. Gulangyu is very beautiful. I have planned to go there again next time and stay at her house again.
