Xiamen Siming District 5-star Hotels

The location is good. It is near Zhongshan street, a local market and it has a really good view of Gulangyu. The non-smoking floor had no trace of cigarette scent. The staff were helpful with the luggage and promptly resolved an issue with the room. I did request that they helped me with a restaurant reservation but failed to update me on the outcome. Overall, service was good.

I had a great experience at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the service was top-notch. Ricky, who was at the hotel lobby, was especially helpful and welcoming. He greeted us with a warm smile and made check-out smooth and easy. He also gave great recommendations for nearby attractions, which made our stay even better. The hotel itself is very nice—clean, stylish, and comfortable. The rooms were well-maintained, the amenities were excellent, and the atmosphere was peaceful. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and want to give a special shoutout to Ricky for his outstanding hospitality!

There is a subway station next to the hotel, so it is convenient to go anywhere. There is a lake just a short walk away, so it is good for taking a walk. It is connected to a shopping center, so you can buy things. When you enter the room, it feels like a typical 5-star hotel. However, there was dust on the water bottle in the bathroom. I don't know if it was because it had been a long time since a guest stayed in the room or because there is a lot of dust in Xiamen. The room seemed clean, but if you look behind the bed or behind the desk, you can see dust. Looking at the dust accumulated behind, I wonder if the carpet on the floor was cleaned properly. The air conditioner control was a Johnson Control. The sensor that controls the temperature in the room did not work sensitively. Since I only went to the hotel to sleep, I never had a chance to use other facilities at the hotel, so I don't have opinions about other places.

Dont judge this hotel by looking it. You need to experience it. Central location. Less than 3 mins walking to a very nice park. BRT bus station at door. It has everything you need: big rooms with tea set and snacks 😊 It has a spacious setting area for refreshments and relaxing on 2nd floor, beside it is a free laundry room next to gym. There is a well known restaurant by local on 3rd and 4th floor. There are spa and yoga , dancing studios on 5th floor. Everyone is so nice. Check in is fast and easy. Breakfast has various to choose from. Local specialties and international food as well. Fresh and delicious. Will definitely book it if I visit again.

W hotel never didsapoints 🥰 we had fun during happy hour as soon as we arrived. Hotel staff is nice and helpful, room service was available even late at night, I would come back again😍

The hotel is fantastic and we always stay there when traveling to Xiamen. Great facilities and welcoming staff, although the restaurant we visited inside the hotel was poor. The restaurant was the Italian on the ground floor of the hotel. We ordered a variety of starters and main meals, although they were brought out at different times and effectively we all ate alone. I stressed the point that can all the starters and main meals be brought at the same time and the response was they take different times to cook, I found this astonishing and surely the chefs could of altered this to meet our demands. The staff within the restaurant were poor at best, they didn’t ask how our meal was, even though we left most of it. In conclusion the hotel is wonderful, but if you’re thinking of eating in the Italian I would definitely not advise as the treatment and money we spent was not worth the value at all.

Although this is an old hotel, but the overalls are quite well maintained. Bath room in the room is clean and I like it that it is a well enclosed bath room and not the type with a see through glass which gives no privacy. Shortfall about this hotel is there is no USB charging plug. So if you only have the charging cord and no usb plug, then you might have to borrow the plug from the front. The WiFi didn’t work and I wasn’t able to log in, it was too late when I check in so I couldn’t be bothered to check with front desk. This time was the 5 1 long holiday and I requested to check out at 2 pm when check in and was promptly rejected. I was actually willing to pay extra to check out 2 hours later. Later the front desk was able to let me check out at 1 pm.

I stayed at the 16/F with my elderly mom and she enjoyed her stay. The room was newly refurbished and the view was nice. The hotel is right next to a big mall and a major shopping street, super convenient. The buffet breakfast featured western and local xiamen style food. The service was great and the receptionists can speak English. Shoutout to Jerry, thank you for the help my mom needed!

I took my parents out on the May 1 holiday~ The overall service of the hotel is very good, and it did not lose its enthusiasm because of the large number of people on holidays. Shuiyuan and the entire villa hotel are very large, but if you don’t want to walk, there will be a brother who is available at any time to drive and pick you up. The housekeeper Xiao Luo’s WeChat service is also very timely. If you don’t understand anything, he will answer it in time. There is also the lobby manager Xiaojie~ Thank you very much, because we came by Didi taxi, the driver didn’t know us, and dropped us off at the unopened gate and left, causing a misunderstanding, and he came to pick us up specially. The hotel is right outside Huangcuo Beach🏝️ because it is very convenient to walk to~ It’s really perfect for those who like the seaside, you can see the sea at sunrise and the sea at night. The hotel facilities are nothing to say. Finally, I have to say that the Chinese restaurant in the hotel has received unanimous praise from our family. The ingredients are fresh and the price is affordable. Hahaha, as a result, I ate here for 3 days

Great location- within walking distance to the Xiamen train station ( via mixc shopping mall) Comfortable rooms with Toto type WCs located in a separate “powder room”. First ever dedicated bench for putting on shoes near the main doorway! All hotels should have this! A dedicated “ dressing room” with dressing table and wardrobe / luggage rack Unfortunate location of the safe suspended over the luggage rack . DANGER! Head bumped into it numerous times while accessing contents of luggage! Don’t use the luggage rack!!! Breakfast was ok. Only wanton soup at the open kitchen ala minute counter. All eggs had to be ordered to the main kitchen Overall service standards are good…. Special mention : Aaron at the concierge desk: one of the best we have encountered in an our travels! Very knowledgeable , professional and well mannered!
