The room had a high ceiling, about 3.5 meters, which really gave it a spacious feel. The British-style decor was very well-designed, and the hotel paid great attention to every detail. Its central location was also a plus, with a good Chinese restaurant just a five-minute walk away. I was very satisfied and would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

After reading George Orwell's 'Burmese Days,' I had a spontaneous idea to visit Myanmar for a few days. Then I found out that The Strand Hotel, one of Asia's three heritage hotels, the 'Pearl of Southeast Asia,' and the oldest hotel in Southeast Asia, had reopened! It was perfect in my eyes: 1. **Reasonable price**; 2. **Great location** (right by the Yangon River, next to the Rosewood Hotel, and just a 10-minute walk from the Sule Pagoda in the city center); 3. **Rich history and countless literary references**; 4. **Its experience of closing due to civil war**; 5. **Excellent drinks and delicious food** (even the late-night snacks were good); 6. **Proficient English speakers among the front desk, restaurant, and bar staff**; 7. **Exceptional service**.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel G Yangon, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations! The space is clean, spacious, and never overcrowded, making it a true haven for fitness enthusiasts. The location is simply unbeatable. I was able to walk effortlessly to the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda, the historic Sule Pagoda, and several beautiful parks in the vicinity. This prime location not only saved me time and transportation costs but also allowed me to immerse myself in the local atmosphere and discover hidden gems along the way. The convenience of having such major attractions within walking distance truly enhanced my cultural experience. The service here is nothing short of exceptional. Every single staff member went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable. From the concierge who provided invaluable local insights to the housekeeping team who maintained impeccable standards of cleanliness, the attention to detail and genuine care for guests was evident in every interaction. Their professionalism, friendliness, and willingness to assist with any request made me feel truly valued as a guest. Safety and security were never a concern during my stay. The hotel maintains excellent security measures, and I felt completely at ease throughout my visit. Whether returning late in the evening or leaving early in the morning, the well-lit surroundings and attentive security staff provided complete peace of mind. The hotel is clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast spread is decent and since the breakfast hall is on the top floor, the view is nice. Location is good with convenience shop and a small mall within reasonable walking distance. Highly recommended for those looking for a place with value for money.

1. The bathroom is not clean and has stains. 2. When taking the elevator on each floor, the waiting area for the elevator does not have air conditioning. 3. The restaurant air conditioner is not cool. 4. There is not much food to choose from. 5. The room is very small. 6. Not worth the price paid 7. The internet signal is not very strong. Overall the hotel needs to improve a lot.

Balmi Hotel is located in the heart of the city, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the room was reasonably clean, offering a comfortable stay. However, I did encounter an issue that needs attention. I spotted two small cockroaches during my stay. While this did not ruin my experience, it needs to improve pest control measures. Addressing this would greatly enhance the overall quality of the stay. Despite this, Balmi has a lot to offer and could easily be a top choice for travelers once this issue is resolved.

The hostel is located in the old town, not far from the central train station. The lobby is on the first floor, and the rooms are on the second and third floors. Bed linens are changed after each guest. There's a table in the room, but the window is poorly maintained and can't be closed. A helpful young man at the front desk speaks some Chinese. The other staff only speak the local language, so communication was difficult. When I checked out, the front desk asked me to pay for the last night's stay, even though I had already paid. They said they hadn't received it, but thankfully the young man who speaks some Chinese came out and confirmed that I had paid in full.

Pretty varied impressions of the hotel. The hotel is located in the city center, no big problems to get anywhere. Most of the staff is friendly, but the problem is that only one of the staff speaks good English. Also the owner of the place speaks English. It happens that under one type of room with one name there can be 2 types of rooms: you can easily be given a room without windows, or you can be given a smoky room. I do not recommend to take breakfast, as it is rather poor for this price and the choice of dishes is not great. Do not think of giving your clothes to the laundry. A few things were in disrepair afterwards. Overall, a normal hotel with a good location and friendly staff, if you are willing to sometimes long to explain your needs or fight for the paid level.
