Secret Mountain Residence (20 yuan )

We arrived at this hotel, and thought it was very cheap, so we had not so high expectations. The staff were very helpfull and very good at using translations, because they dis not speak english. The room was amazing, it looked brand new. The cleaning was good, and it was nice that there were new bottles of water every day. There was also afternoon tea every day for free. The pool was small but clean, and we enjoyed it, but it would have been nice with a sunbed. There was also a gym, which was nice, but could be nice with a bike or simular. We had a very pleasant stay and will recommend it to everybody.

The property is really modern and nice decorated. As European traveler I wouldn't recommend the hotel as is really Asian focused. Breakfast is quite simple and they do not replace dishes and often run out of some food if you are not there early. Coffee is undrinkable. Staff wasn't helpful at all as they didn't even try to communicate with us. We couldn't check-in until 4pm on arrival day which was really a downside for us. Swimming pool is reaaaaally small and all the time occupied by really noisy and annoying kids. The complementary transfer was quite of a disaster with a really old and broken van (truck back door was open the whole journey to the station). Overall, not a wonderful stay as promised.

The bed is very big and comfortable, I rested well here. The pillows are amazing. The room is clean. The location is good. I recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again when in Xingping.

We loved this hotel, very close to the main street, it's clean, has great views & amenities. The bed had a comfy, wide mattress. We used the washing machine (free), the pool was closed (early May) but the viewing terraces were open. The breakfast was delcious, soup with rice noodles + loads of toppings & fruit - very tasty. Instant coffee or milk tea included. We stayed one night, but would have stayed another had we had the time. Very friendly staff, they allowed us to check out a bit later so that we could have a shower after the nearby hike of Laozhai Mountain. Highly recommend!

Great place to rest for a night before heading to the high speed rail. Two cute pheasants near the breakfast place and two cute cats roaming around the hotel, possibly can find a cat chilling near the swimming pool.

Cozy room and generous common area to relax in. Free to use washing machine + dryer which is awesome. Sadly the pool is only available seasonally since it is outdoor. The gym is only dumbbells, a pullup bar would be a good upgrade. Black coffee would have been great.
