Jessica at the reception was really kind and helpful for any question we had during the three days we spent there, she spoke a good English and helped us book our activities. The hotel location is also perfect, close to the river with beautiful landscape but also close to the city center and all the restaurants. The room was super clean and wide enough for the three of us. Breakfast was delicious with great variety of food including Guilin rice noodles. The rooftop is amazing and the free afternoon tea is very enjoyable there. We even had a little gift upon checking out. Thank you Xitang River View Hotel! A tip : wake up for sunrise on the rooftop!! The location is excellent and super convenient, with plenty of restaurants nearby – fantastic! **Atmosphere:** It felt like we were in Santorini, but with the backdrop of Guilin's stunning karst mountains – so incredibly chill!!! **Service:** The butler service was great. They reminded us about the complimentary goodnight dessert and breakfast times, and were very polite. The rice noodles at breakfast were delicious, I highly recommend them! And I really loved the soy milk and fried dough sticks too! We'll definitely be back!"

With a 270° unobstructed view, it overlooks the Yu Long River and the rolling karst mountains, offering breathtaking mountain and river scenery. Having afternoon tea here at sunset creates an amazing atmosphere, the pastries are exquisite and delicious, and every photo you take looks like a professional landscape shot. The main courses also exceeded our expectations; the local specialties were authentic and flavorful with generous portions. There were also lighter dishes suitable for children, meaning we didn't have to go out looking for food. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the staff are warm and attentive, promptly responding to any requests. We had an early flight and couldn't make it to breakfast, so the staff even packed us bread and milk."

The complimentary photoshoot offered by the hotel was also incredibly good value – the photographer was very professional. The front desk staff were also quite enthusiastic. The hotel's location is excellent, with West Street just a few hundred meters away. Plus, there's an underground parking garage, which is very convenient for those traveling by car."

That evening, I used the hotel's washing machine to do laundry, and because I had to go back to my room, the staff even helped me dry and hang my clothes. To maintain such service quality during the busy May Day holiday is truly commendable! 👍"
