"My impression of this place: breathtaking mountain and river scenery, perfectly blended with a clever mix of old and new architecture. Everything is beautifully presented, thanks to the vision of architect Dong Gong. The hotel facilities and room functionalities are well-designed, and the service is warm and attentive. You can truly relax here. Both the Chinese and Western restaurants on-site offer excellent cuisine. The outdoor pool (with its stunning views) is a highlight of the outdoor areas. You can easily arrange a bamboo raft tour of the Li River by simply walking down a few steps. The impressive 'Impression Sanjie Liu' show is just a 10-minute drive away. The buildings are scattered among the mountains, intertwined with reflective water features, showcasing rich and thoughtful details that are exquisite day and night, making it well worth a thorough appreciation."

"This is the best hotel in Yangshuo. Compared to The Sugarcane, VOCO, Hwa Peng, and Banyan Tree, it offers the best value for money. The staff are well-trained and provide genuine assistance. Even after checking out, they continued to answer all our questions about our itinerary. We stayed in the Jingxuan Villa, which was comfortably sized with excellent facilities. The nightly turndown gifts were a lovely touch. The travel photography service was also good, and the photographer had a great attitude. The entire garden landscape is beautifully maintained, and the various small animals like peacocks, geese, ducks, goldfish, and alpacas provided a wonderful and relaxing experience for guests. If you're driving, the hotel's location isn't remote at all. It's about a 20-minute drive to the Ten-Mile Gallery, and also 20 minutes to take a bamboo raft on the Yulong River. Xingping Ancient Town Pier is only half an hour away. Personally, I think it's far superior to the guesthouses near the Ten-Mile Gallery and Yulong River – there's simply no comparison. We had a wonderful two-night, three-day stay. It left a deep impression on our trip to Yangshuo."

"This hotel chain, originating from Indonesia, might be less known in China, but my stay truly made it one of the best resort hotels in the country. Starting with 450 sqm villas, each with a private pool over 10 meters long, it already surpasses many well-known domestic hotel brands. The management has also done an excellent job training staff on service awareness. The butler was prompt and efficient, always ready to assist, and the staff's execution was strong. Throughout my three-day stay, every staff member I encountered would proactively smile and greet me. The hotel is also quite generous, offering complimentary daily minibar, fruit, cookies, and afternoon tea. They also provide inflatable floats, water guns, induction cookers, and frying pans, along with buggies and bicycles for guests' convenience. For an introvert like me, these added values are far more appealing than any elaborate 'rituals.' It's clear the hotel aims to attract guests through genuine word-of-mouth rather than relying on a 'luxury' brand premium. Overall, this is a highly recommended hotel for a quiet getaway."

"This was my second stay at LS Guilin, once again, the hotel exceeded my expectations. It is truly one of the most beautiful and well-managed hotels I have stayed, and what makes the experience even more special is the exceptional team behind it. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, exceptionally clean and simply wonderful. Its location is fantastic, right in one of the best areas of Yangshuo, making it an ideal base for exploring the area while still providing a peaceful and luxurious environment to return to. The breakfast is excellent, with a wonderful selection, and the afternoon tea is another lovely touch that adds to the overall experience. Victoria and Icey continue to deliver outstanding service. Their attention to detail, professionalism and genuine warmth make such a difference. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure everything was taken care of and that my stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. It is wonderful to return to a hotel and find the same exceptional level of service. I would also like to give special recognition to Ms. Jin, who helped me with my luggage and personally delivered my wine. She was always incredibly warm, friendly and welcoming. Her kindness and positive attitude made every interaction such a pleasure. Sweet girl! A big thank you as well to Ms. Rosie, who surprised me with a lovely gift during check-out. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a beautiful way to end my stay. She’s so lovely and always smiling. And I cannot forget Chocolate, the photographer! 📸 She was absolutely brilliant. She took some of the best photos for me and was incredibly patient, creative and helpful throughout the whole photoshoot. She made the experience so much fun and captured the hotel and the surrounding scenery beautifully. Mr. Kaysen also deserves a special mention. He was incredibly helpful when I needed assistance purchasing wine and went out of his way to make everything easy and convenient. His helpfulness and willingness to assist were greatly appreciated. The drivers and golf-cart team were also excellent — always friendly, punctual and professional, with clean and comfortable cars and golf carts. Their service made getting around the property and surrounding areas effortless. After staying here for the second time, I can confidently say that LS Guilin Yangshuo has become one of my favourite hotels in Yangshuo. The combination of the beautiful property, exceptional cleanliness, fantastic location, excellent food and, most importantly, the genuinely caring staff makes this hotel truly special. A huge thank you to the entire team, especially Ms Victoria, Ms Icey, Ms. Jin, Ms. Rosie, Mr. Kaysen, Ms Chocolate and the wonderful drivers and golf-cart team. "We spent our vacation with our family and were absolutely delighted 😍 We especially liked the pool: there are comfortable sofas and tables around it, you can order drinks and food without leaving the water, and just relax. The pool offers an incredibly beautiful view of the mountains — that’s a separate pleasure ⛰️ Our room was very spacious and had a beautiful view. The bathroom is large and has all the necessary amenities: a freestanding bathtub, a separate shower, and a toilet. The minibar was replenished every day. All our requests during the stay were handled very quickly👌 The breakfasts are good, they’re more like European ones — that’s a big plus for foreign tourists. The hotel restaurant is delicious, and the selection of dishes is extensive. There’s a children’s room and two pools for kids, where our children spent the whole day. The hotel is perfect for a family holiday. We recommend it and would be happy to come back again!☺️☀️"

"Nestled in the mountains, this hotel boasts a clean and airy design with a pure white, Instagrammable aesthetic. The floor-to-ceiling windows perfectly frame the entire peak forest, while the pool and sky mirror provide fantastic photo opportunities for creating atmospheric shots. It's also exceptionally family-friendly. Just a few steps away is the Sanshuo Jisu hotel, which offers a quiet and elegant French retro style. A stroll along the rooftop walkway brings the refreshing mountain breeze, carrying the scent of grass and trees. Located amidst the mountains and rivers, there's no need to rush to tourist attractions. You can simply relax on the terrace, sipping tea and gazing at the clouds as they roll over the peaks. It's a place to escape the hustle and bustle, to find a relaxed and carefree Yangshuo experience in the heart of nature."

"Choosing this hotel and staying for two consecutive nights was the smartest decision of my trip. Definitely pick Building 1 or 6, as the views from the windows are absolutely stunning. The butler gave me the room with the second-best view in the hotel – the best one had guests extending their stay. The view from the huge floor-to-ceiling windows was truly spectacular! The room itself was also super spacious, with everything you could need! There was a wardrobe, hangers, a fridge, and a super long desk behind the bed, perfect for snacks, selfies, or even setting up a DJI drone. The bathroom was also incredibly large; you can imagine how big it was when I tell you I could open both my suitcases in there! It made getting clothes in and out super convenient. I took a video of the room when checking in, but didn't import it to my phone, so I don't have any photos. I also recommend checking out other buildings; there are many photo spots that are perfect for Instagram! I took tons of pictures, and even rainy weather didn't stop me from getting great shots. The complimentary hotel photography session didn't quite match my desired 'fishermen singing at dusk' vibe, so I booked the shoot wearing my own clothes. I got 3 retouched photos without paying anything, and the staff were still very pleasant! The only thing is, when I looked closely at home, one of the photos wasn't high-resolution, and when I messaged them about it, they didn't reply. The cormorant fishing performance was amazing – the cormorants dive underwater to catch fish, and they're incredibly skilled! They caught fish very quickly after entering the water! It's that ancient method, and while it looks a bit cruel, the fish they catch are ultimately fed to them. After the performance, you can queue up for a free photo opportunity! The butler service was also excellent! Highly recommended!"

We even spoke with several other guests, and everyone agreed—this hotel far exceeded all expectations. 🏔️ Rooms & Views Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. Waking up to the breathtaking mountain views every morning was unforgettable. 🎭 Activities Included There are so many activities that we simply didn’t have enough time to try everything! We especially loved the complimentary traditional Chinese photoshoot (including 3 professionally edited photos) and the traditional cormorant fishing demonstration. 🍕 Restaurant & Breakfast The restaurant was amazing. Alongside delicious Chinese cuisine, it also serves excellent European food. After weeks of traveling, our kids were craving familiar meals, and the truffle pizza, truffle pasta, and Margherita pizza were absolutely incredible. 😍 Breakfast was equally impressive, with a fantastic selection of hot dishes, fresh fruit, pastries, desserts, and drinks—all with spectacular mountain views. 👨👩👧👦 Perfect for Families A large kids’ playroom, a beautiful swimming pool with a children’s area, and plenty of space for families. Our kids absolutely loved it. 🏋️ Extra Amenities The hotel also has a laundry room and a small gym, which are especially convenient for longer stays. ☕ Don’t Miss the Second Hotel The hotel has a second property just 300 meters away, connected by a complimentary shuttle. We highly recommend visiting it for a coffee on the terrace overlooking the river and mountains. 📸 Please note: All of the river-view photos in this review were taken at the hotel’s second property. ❤️ Everything about this place—the scenery, the atmosphere, the activities, and most importantly, the incredible people—made our stay unforgettable. Outside my window, I could see the stunning, rolling karst mountains. Waking up to birdsong in the morning, I opened the window to see mist swirling around the peaks, making it feel as if I were living inside a traditional Chinese ink wash painting. And for those planning to visit the 'Eternal Love' show, this place is incredibly convenient! You can see the 'Eternal Love' scenic area from the hotel balcony and it's within walking distance. **Design | A contemporary interpretation of oriental aesthetics** From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was captivated by the hotel's design language. It uses a simple yet elegant combination of natural wood and stone, with ample use of open space and light. This creates an atmosphere that embodies the charm of Northern Guangxi residences while also exuding a modern, minimalist sophistication. I particularly loved the garden landscaping in the central courtyard; every stone and plant showed meticulous care. Even the lighting in the corridors was thoughtfully designed, making every step a visual delight. The designer clearly understands the philosophy of 'less is more,' allowing the architecture to humbly complement nature. It seems the design-focused hotels on Trip.com's list are indeed very reliable. **Check-in Perks | A warm, welcoming embrace** Upon check-in, I experienced hospitality that exceeded my expectations. The special welcome tea offered by the front desk was at the perfect temperature and had a delicate fragrance, instantly washing away the fatigue of travel. A handwritten welcome card and fresh seasonal fruits were already waiting in the room, showing thoughtful attention to detail. **Toiletries | High-end touches in the details** I must mention the hotel's choice of bath and body products – their taste is truly on point. They use a niche and high-end brand, and the scent of the botanical essential oils is incredibly soothing, as if bringing the essence of Yangshuo's mountains and wilderness into the bathroom. These everyday details best reflect a hotel's aesthetic and sincerity, and TUI BLUE truly surprised me in this aspect. (Spoiler alert: the brand is Zu's Beloved series – my wife has already ordered it online!) **Overall Impression** My time at TUI BLUE Yangshuo was a complete relaxation for both body and mind. It offers not only beautiful scenery but also warmth; not just design, but also substance. Every staff member was friendly and natural, and the service was just right, making it feel less like staying in a hotel and more like returning to a home nestled among the mountains and rivers. It's nestled right along the Yulong River, offering stunning karst peaks visible right from your window, and is wonderfully quiet, away from the bustling city. The rooms are spacious and impeccably clean, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows that let you enjoy the scenery right from your bed. The bathtub, with its scenic views, makes for a truly relaxing soak. Plus, the smart home system throughout the room is super convenient. The hotel grounds offer excellent amenities – the large lawn and infinity pool are perfect for photos, and the petting zoo is a big hit with kids. The sixth-floor viewing terrace offers unparalleled views, ideal for enjoying afternoon tea while watching bamboo rafts gently drift down the Yulong River. The staff are attentive and thoughtful, even offering free shuttle service to and from the county town, making travel hassle-free. It's a perfect spot for both romantic getaways and family vacations. We'll definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit to Yangshuo."
