Guest UserStaying at the Xi Shi Jin She Hotel was an incredibly healing experience amidst the beautiful landscapes of Yangshuo. The hotel is located right by the Yulong River, and with the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, you're greeted by stunning karst peaks, with bamboo rafts slowly gliding by on the river – it feels like living inside a traditional Chinese ink painting. The room was clean and tidy, the toiletries were of excellent quality, and the facilities were exquisite and comprehensive. The butler service was attentive and thoughtful, and the authentic Guilin rice noodles for breakfast were fresh and delicious. The rooftop infinity pool offered amazing photo opportunities. It's also super convenient for visiting the Ten-Mile Gallery. This is definitely my top choice for a stay in Yangshuo, a perfect experience!

Guest UserThe hotel facilities were in great condition, and the location was excellent. The young lady and gentleman at the front desk were also very helpful, actively assisting us with our issues and even bringing us tea. We only stayed for one day, and my child didn't get enough time in the pool.

Guest UserMy experience at this hotel was truly exceptional, offering not only picturesque scenery and cozy accommodations but also incredibly thoughtful service. Due to a typhoon, we had to cancel our trip to Weizhou Island and instead headed to Yangshuo earlier than planned. After carefully sifting through options online, we chose to stay at 'Poetry and Distance' for three nights, and it felt like destiny. The hotel's service is absolutely top-tier; every greeting and reminder was perfectly timed. The afternoon tea and evening desserts, though seemingly small gestures, always hit the spot. The concierge patiently answered all our questions and met every request. The room facilities were well-maintained, and the view from the window was simply stunning. The hotel's ZUI Lijiang restaurant also completely satisfied our culinary desires – I'd call it Yangshuo's best restaurant, and the prices are reasonable too. The swimming pool is heated, making it comfortable to swim any time, and my child practically went swimming every day. The hotel also organizes activities like intangible cultural heritage handicrafts. I highly recommend everyone discover and experience even more surprises for themselves!

Guest UserA wonderful family hotel with spacious rooms, a pool and a very peaceful atmosphere.
We stayed here as a family with children and really enjoyed our time. In Yangshuo, many hotels have beautiful mountain views, but this hotel stands out because it is not only scenic, but also very quiet, peaceful and comfortable inside. For us, this was a huge advantage.
This is a warm family-style hotel where you feel that the owners truly care about every guest. The hostess was always nearby and personally paid attention to the quality of service. The staff were very friendly, polite and always ready to help.
Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was done on time, and everything felt well maintained. For this level of room, the price was very reasonable, which makes the hotel a very good value for money.
Another big plus is the swimming pool. For a family trip, especially with children, having a pool at the hotel is a real advantage compared with many other hotels in the area.
One of the nicest details was the afternoon tea with sweets — it made the stay feel even more welcoming and personal. The atmosphere of the hotel is calm and relaxing, which is exactly what you need in the mountains. The garden, the views, the fresh air and the peaceful environment helped us rest properly.
The night before, we stayed in another hotel where it was noisy and uncomfortable because of construction nearby, so here we especially appreciated the silence, cleanliness and comfort. We finally had a proper rest.
This hotel is a great choice for families, for people travelling with children, and for anyone who wants a quiet and cozy place surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. We left with very warm impressions and would be happy to come back again.
Highly recommended.

Our stay at the LS Hotel was nothing short of spectacular. It is genuinely one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. The entire property is stunning, but the absolute highlight was the view—it was truly breathtaking and something we will never forget. I cannot recommend this place enough!

zhuyamartinYangshuo Sugarhouse has always been a hotel I've wanted to visit, and a serendipitous opportunity finally brought me here, marking my first trip to Yangshuo. True to its pictures, it's exactly as you've seen it. Admittedly, it's no longer a new hotel, and I had some reservations beforehand, as similar-priced hotels in the same category might offer larger, more luxurious options. However, for design enthusiasts, Sugarhouse is special; it's a destination in itself.
My first impression was that the hotel is reasonably well-maintained, and the service is always pleasant and attentive. I always assumed these were standard expectations in such hotels, not worth mentioning. Yet, it wasn't until I truly experienced the various facets of Yangshuo that I realized Sugarhouse is an oasis in this bustling, chaotic, and often less-than-pleasant destination. Yangshuo is beautiful, but its natural charm isn't always enough to offset some disappointing tourist experiences. You might exert a lot of effort trying to soak in the legendary landscapes, only to be left unsatisfied, perhaps due to early mornings or overwhelming crowds. But at Sugarhouse, you can intimately connect with Yangshuo's mountains and rivers, as they are right outside your room, beyond the iconic pool view. During the day, you can fully immerse yourself in nature undisturbed, and as dusk falls, the lights of Impression Liu Sanjie illuminate them, making you a part of the landscape. Finding such tranquility in this destination is incredibly precious, a realization I only had after switching to other hotels.
The service here carries a hint of genuine, endearing awkwardness, and you can sense that achieving this level of service isn't easy. The bartender at 1969 Bar recommended a special concoction when I was indecisive, allowing me to savor the last season's season of loquat gin, which was unforgettable. Lucy at the front desk was incredibly helpful in resolving my issues, and when I pointed out some minor flaws in the room, they were already being addressed – truly tiny details that not everyone would notice, demonstrating their genuine care for guests. I met a gentleman at breakfast who enthusiastically and meticulously introduced me to oil tea and proactively helped me carry it to my upstairs seat when my hands were full. On my departure day, I even saw him standing at the lobby entrance at 36 degrees Celsius, assisting guests. Later, I learned he was the hotel's general manager. The people here are sincere and responsible, and what initially felt like minor imperfections transformed into a stark difference after comparison. I can give the experience here full marks.
Some friends might find it too boring, with too many cars on the highway outside the rooms. But if you've experienced the endless swarm of electric scooters, the ubiquitous paid parking lots, and the so-called villas that cost 3,000 yuan with no view whatsoever, you'll realize that not only is the pricing here quite fair, but it's also almost the only viable accommodation option in Yangshuo. Of course, this is just for reference if you don't plan on venturing out, but Sugarhouse still offers many interesting services that make it a highly recommendable choice.

As a loyal Trip.com member of 15 years, I simply *have* to share my experience this time! I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Yangshuo.
**Location | Where bustling meets serene**
The hotel's location is truly excellent – it cleverly avoids the hustle and bustle of West Street while still keeping you close to the vibrant local life of Yangshuo. Outside my window, I could see the stunning, rolling karst mountains. Waking up to birdsong in the morning, I opened the window to see mist swirling around the peaks, making it feel as if I were living inside a traditional Chinese ink wash painting. And for those planning to visit the 'Eternal Love' show, this place is incredibly convenient! You can see the 'Eternal Love' scenic area from the hotel balcony and it's within walking distance.
**Design | A contemporary interpretation of oriental aesthetics**
From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was captivated by the hotel's design language. It uses a simple yet elegant combination of natural wood and stone, with ample use of open space and light. This creates an atmosphere that embodies the charm of Northern Guangxi residences while also exuding a modern, minimalist sophistication. I particularly loved the garden landscaping in the central courtyard; every stone and plant showed meticulous care. Even the lighting in the corridors was thoughtfully designed, making every step a visual delight. The designer clearly understands the philosophy of 'less is more,' allowing the architecture to humbly complement nature. It seems the design-focused hotels on Trip.com's list are indeed very reliable.
**Check-in Perks | A warm, welcoming embrace**
Upon check-in, I experienced hospitality that exceeded my expectations. The special welcome tea offered by the front desk was at the perfect temperature and had a delicate fragrance, instantly washing away the fatigue of travel. A handwritten welcome card and fresh seasonal fruits were already waiting in the room, showing thoughtful attention to detail.
**Toiletries | High-end touches in the details**
I must mention the hotel's choice of bath and body products – their taste is truly on point. They use a niche and high-end brand, and the scent of the botanical essential oils is incredibly soothing, as if bringing the essence of Yangshuo's mountains and wilderness into the bathroom. These everyday details best reflect a hotel's aesthetic and sincerity, and TUI BLUE truly surprised me in this aspect. (Spoiler alert: the brand is Zu's Beloved series – my wife has already ordered it online!)
**Overall Impression**
My time at TUI BLUE Yangshuo was a complete relaxation for both body and mind. It offers not only beautiful scenery but also warmth; not just design, but also substance. Every staff member was friendly and natural, and the service was just right, making it feel less like staying in a hotel and more like returning to a home nestled among the mountains and rivers. I look forward to my next visit.

Guest UserThis resort hotel I stayed at during my trip has an excellent environment. The outdoor pool is divided into children's and adult sections, making water activities very comfortable. The location is also central yet quiet, and the rooms have balconies with mountain views. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to West Street in the afternoon, which is a thoughtful touch. The breakfast spread is rich, with a good variety of fruits, salads, and milk. All rooms are modern in style. There's also a laundry room with dryers and charging stations in the parking lot. The facilities are quite comprehensive, making it a worthwhile stay.

The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from West Street, but surprisingly quiet. It was a really comfortable stay.
🏊♀️ **Five-Star Facilities**

🛁 **Highly Recommend This Room Type**

Traveling with my little one, we were so lucky to stay at this B&B—I absolutely have to give it a huge thumbs-up!
First off, the environment is absolutely stunning. As soon as we walked in, we were captivated by the courtyard. The flowers and plants are meticulously trimmed yet maintain a natural, wild charm. After the rain, the air was incredibly fresh, like it had been washed clean. Sitting in the yard with a cup of tea, time just seemed to slow down. The rooms also have a lovely natural wood style, cozy yet sophisticated, exactly like the pictures.
Then there's the cleanliness – as a germaphobe, I was thoroughly impressed. The room was spotless, the floors were so clean you could walk barefoot, the bedding smelled of sunshine, and the bathroom was free of any water stains or odors. Traveling with a baby, I'm extra sensitive to cleanliness, and this place put my mind completely at ease.
Most importantly, the family-friendly service is incredibly thoughtful! The owner clearly understands what kids need. They had already prepared children's toothbrushes and slippers for us in advance, and even thoughtfully provided a bed rail, which made us feel much more secure at night. The common area had picture books and building blocks, and my baby had a blast, too busy playing to fuss. They even prepared soft, sticky porridge and small steamed buns specifically for my child's breakfast.
