This hotel was a very pleasant surprise. I was expected something good, but it exceeded my expectations! Location is great - half-way of everywhere. Room was super comfortable, pretty, elegant with a great view. Everything was really good quality, from the sleepers to the bed, toilet, etc. Breakfast was simple, more Chinese style, but good. Swimming pool was quite nice, with a great view. Staff was very polite and attentive, even though English was not a feature, but always helpful with a translator in hand. We rented a electric bike at the hotel, got soak and wet with heavy rain, but the hotel had a self-service washing and drying machines, which was amazing. Overall, great stay. I can't really complain of anything. Would definitely stay there again.

Choosing the Past & Present Hotel for my Yangshuo trip was absolutely the right decision! It's right by the Yulong River, so when you open the window, you're greeted by mountains and flowing water, with bamboo rafts drifting past – it's like living inside a traditional Chinese ink painting. The room was clean and comfortable, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering an incredible view. The bedding was soft, the toiletries smelled lovely, and the Dyson hairdryer was a definite plus. The housekeeper was attentive and always available when needed, without being intrusive. The breakfast was varied and delicious, especially the Guilin rice noodles. In the evening, they even offer a complimentary sweet soup. The infinity pool and large lawn are perfect for photos. The location is both quiet and convenient, with free parking. My entire stay was relaxing and rejuvenating. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Yangshuo. Highly recommend!

Every member of the team was incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely cared about every guest. We even spoke with several other guests, and everyone agreed—this hotel far exceeded all expectations. 🏔️ Rooms & Views Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. Waking up to the breathtaking mountain views every morning was unforgettable. 🎭 Activities Included There are so many activities that we simply didn’t have enough time to try everything! We especially loved the complimentary traditional Chinese photoshoot (including 3 professionally edited photos) and the traditional cormorant fishing demonstration. 🍕 Restaurant & Breakfast The restaurant was amazing. Alongside delicious Chinese cuisine, it also serves excellent European food. After weeks of traveling, our kids were craving familiar meals, and the truffle pizza, truffle pasta, and Margherita pizza were absolutely incredible. 😍 Breakfast was equally impressive, with a fantastic selection of hot dishes, fresh fruit, pastries, desserts, and drinks—all with spectacular mountain views. 👨👩👧👦 Perfect for Families A large kids’ playroom, a beautiful swimming pool with a children’s area, and plenty of space for families. Our kids absolutely loved it. 🏋️ Extra Amenities The hotel also has a laundry room and a small gym, which are especially convenient for longer stays. ☕ Don’t Miss the Second Hotel The hotel has a second property just 300 meters away, connected by a complimentary shuttle. A wonderful family hotel with spacious rooms, a pool and a very peaceful atmosphere. We stayed here as a family with children and really enjoyed our time. In Yangshuo, many hotels have beautiful mountain views, but this hotel stands out because it is not only scenic, but also very quiet, peaceful and comfortable inside. For us, this was a huge advantage. This is a warm family-style hotel where you feel that the owners truly care about every guest. The hostess was always nearby and personally paid attention to the quality of service. The staff were very friendly, polite and always ready to help. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was done on time, and everything felt well maintained. For this level of room, the price was very reasonable, which makes the hotel a very good value for money. Another big plus is the swimming pool. For a family trip, especially with children, having a pool at the hotel is a real advantage compared with many other hotels in the area. One of the nicest details was the afternoon tea with sweets — it made the stay feel even more welcoming and personal. The atmosphere of the hotel is calm and relaxing, which is exactly what you need in the mountains. The garden, the views, the fresh air and the peaceful environment helped us rest properly. The night before, we stayed in another hotel where it was noisy and uncomfortable because of construction nearby, so here we especially appreciated the silence, cleanliness and comfort. We finally had a proper rest. This hotel is a great choice for families, for people travelling with children, and for anyone who wants a quiet and cozy place surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. We left with very warm impressions and would be happy to come back again. Highly recommended. В Яншо, как мы поняли, у многих отелей есть красивые виды на горы, но большое преимущество именно этого отеля в том, что здесь не только красиво, но ещё и очень тихо, спокойно и комфортно внутри. Для нас это было огромным плюсом. Это уютный семейный отель, где чувствуется настоящая забота о гостях. Хозяйка всегда была рядом и лично контролировала качество обслуживания. Персонал очень доброжелательный, вежливый, всегда старался помочь и сделать проживание максимально комфортным. Номер был очень просторный, чистый и удобный. Уборка проводилась вовремя, всё было аккуратно и приятно. Для такого уровня номера цена, на наш взгляд, очень недорогая, поэтому соотношение цены и качества здесь отличное. Отдельный большой плюс — наличие бассейна. Для семейной поездки, особенно с детьми, это действительно важное преимущество по сравнению со многими другими отелями в этом районе. Также нам очень понравились приятные детали: послеобеденный чай со сладостями, зелёный двор, красивые виды, свежий воздух и общая спокойная атмосфера. В горах именно такой отдых особенно ценен — здесь можно по-настоящему расслабиться и восстановиться. Ночь до этого мы провели в другом отеле, где рядом шла стройка, было шумно и душно. Поэтому здесь мы особенно оценили тишину, чистоту и комфорт. Мы наконец-то хорошо отдохнули. Отель отлично подойдёт для семей с детьми и для тех, кто ищет не шумное место, а спокойный, уютный отдых среди красивой природы. У нас остались очень тёплые впечатления, с удовольствием вернулись бы снова. Очень рекомендуем.

Choosing Dufuyayuan near the 20-yuan RMB scenic spot was truly an unexpected delight this time. This century-old house, converted into a guesthouse, perfectly captures an amazing ambiance. The ancient architecture combined with the greenery in the courtyard makes every spot picture-perfect. The guesthouse's overall cleanliness was impeccable. The bedding in the rooms was dry and soft, the bathrooms had no unpleasant odors, and even the corners were spotless. During our stay, the owner's service was exceptionally thoughtful; they proactively sent travel routes and local sightseeing guides before our arrival, and even provided helpful tips for purchasing tickets for the Yulong River bamboo raft. The guesthouse environment is serene, far from the noise of main road traffic. During the day, you can relax and cool off in the courtyard, and in the evening, you can enjoy distant views of the mountains and rivers. You can pre-order local farm-to-table dishes for all three meals; the ingredients are fresh and authentic, and the flavors are light and not greasy. The location is exceptionally convenient. You can walk directly to the banks of the Yulong River, avoiding the need to rush early in the morning. The overall accommodation experience far exceeded our expectations. It's an excellent base for family trips to Yangshuo, and we would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Yangshuo. I wholeheartedly recommend it to all travelers.

This hotel in Yangshuo is absolutely fantastic! The room was clean and comfortable, with stunning mountain views. Waking up and opening the window to a lush green landscape was so relaxing and refreshing. The front desk offers electric bike rentals that are in excellent condition with plenty of battery life, and at a great price. It was super convenient for riding to Yulong River and Ten-Mile Gallery, allowing us to enjoy the scenery with the wind in our hair – so free and enjoyable. The service was thoughtful and attentive, making getting around incredibly easy. The value for money is unbeatable; choosing this place for your trip to Yangshuo is definitely the right call!

🏔️😱 Don’t know how it was possible, but this hotel was even more beautiful in real life than the photos. Built inside a renovated historic sugar factory, Yangshuo Sugar House combines the refined aesthetics of the mountain landscape with historical architectural elegance. ✨ 🚙🌾 The hotel offers various free and at-cost activities you can book through their concierge. We wanted to go see the Longji Rice Steps during our stay, which is about an 2.5 hour drive away from Yangshuo by car. I messaged the hotel the day before we arrived and they were able to arrange a private driver to take us there and back over an 8 hour trip. Mr. Qin was amazing and very kind! He took us directly to buy the tickets and then drove us to the entrance point of the cable car. There was pretty extreme rain on the way back and he got us down the mountain very efficiently. It was an extremely memorable day which was only made possible by the hotel’s extraordinary attentive drivers and diligent concierge staff. ⭐️ 🍴The room comes with a daily buffet breakfast, free soft drinks, and fruit. The hotel restaurant is good, but breakfast is really where the food shines. So many delicious options to choose from, and there was adorable panda shaped buns 🐼 📸 The hotel also offers free travel photography on the premises, which takes about 30~ minutes and you receive 5 free photos, with additional available to purchase at 50 yuan. It was fun and very efficient! 🌸 Overall, a major highlight of our China trip & we wish we had stayed longer. Thank you again!

This hotel is centrally located with a great atmosphere. My friends and I were very satisfied with our stay. It's a one-stop family resort nestled among mountains and rivers, offering a tranquil environment surrounded by lush greenery and refreshing, healing air. ✅ There's a huge outdoor pool with mountain views and a separate splash area for kids. The water is cool and clean, perfect for children to play and have fun. ✅ The standard outdoor tennis court is great for adults to play a match, combining relaxation with exercise. Playing tennis in the morning while listening to the birds is incredibly pleasant and relaxing. ✅ The modern and elegant rooms are spacious and comfortable, with soft bedding and good soundproofing, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. From the window, you can see the villa area, lake, and pool area. Watching the sunset in the evening is absolutely beautiful. There's also an outdoor playground for kids, and a free shuttle bus to West Street in the afternoon. The hotel is close to major attractions like the Ten-Mile Gallery and Yulong River, making travel super convenient. With kids, there's no need to rush. Enjoy swimming, playing tennis, and admiring the scenery for a relaxed and pleasant family vacation. The hygiene is excellent, the air conditioning is comfortable, and the butler service is very warm and attentive, promptly responding to any requests. The laundry room and gym are also excellent. The facilities are comprehensive and well-equipped. We were very satisfied with this stay and will choose this hotel again next time.

I came here with my friends during the summer holiday, specifically for their restaurant which is on the must-try list. While waiting for a table, we found out they also have guest rooms. Hotel guests get a 10% discount and priority seating, so after seeing the rooms, we decisively booked one. Honestly, both their restaurant and guest rooms are excellent. The summer prices were also very reasonable, and the staff were all very polite and enthusiastic. It was our first time in Yangshuo, and they even recommended some fun attractions. The hotel can also book tickets for various scenic spots, so it felt like we didn't really need to plan our route much as they had everything sorted for us. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I bring my family next time. It's very close to the riverside and West Street, both within walking distance. The main thing is, their restaurant is truly amazing! Don't miss it if you come to Yangshuo!
