"We had a great stay at this hotel. The location is very good, close to West Street, with easy access to restaurants and everything you need, but still away from the busiest and noisiest part, which made it perfect. The staff were very helpful and guided us with tour activities around the area. We were also able to rent electric bikes through them for a very affordable price, which made exploring even better. A big plus is the spa right next to the hotel, offering massages until midnight, perfect after a long day out. It was also during the World Cup, and we could watch the games comfortably on the TV in our room, which was a great bonus. The room itself was nice and clean, making the whole stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a very convenient and comfortable place to stay. I would definitely recommend it."

"I booked this hotel for its stunning river views, and I'm happy to say it completely exceeded my expectations – no regrets at all! The floor-to-ceiling windows and balcony offer unobstructed views directly onto the beautiful landscapes of the Yulong River. The natural light during the day is lovely, and it's so relaxing to sit on the balcony and enjoy the breeze in the evening. The room itself was clean and tidy, and the bedding was very comfortable. The service was excellent, and both check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free."

"I stayed at the Mercure Hotel in Xingping Ancient Town. It's a quiet oasis amidst the bustling area. The hotel is small but exquisite, and every room has a balcony with a floor-standing drying rack, which is a thoughtful touch as many hotels don't have a place to dry clothes. It's so convenient! Sitting on the balcony, you can take in all the lively street scenes. As night falls, the distant mountain views make Xingping Ancient Town even more picturesque. **Facilities**: There are only two washing machines and dryers. Since it was the rainy season, it was really hard to get a dryer; I had to wait a long time. On the other hand, there were many fitness machines, but people come to the ancient town for the scenery, so it would be better to have more washing machines and dryers for guests. I waited 20 minutes, only for the previous guest to use the dryer for 20 minutes, find their clothes still wet, use it for another 20 minutes, and then I waited another 20 minutes! 😂 **Service**: The staff are excellent, very friendly, and will guide you to the parking lot at the back, though parking spaces are limited. **Breakfast**: The breakfast quality is a bit better than that of Orange Hotels. The lobby is also very spacious, so there was no scramble for seats. Thumbs up! 👍+1 **P.S.**: Overall, my stay at Mercure Hotel was very pleasant and added a lot to my trip. Yangshuo is great, and Guilin is definitely worth a visit! ^_^"
