Guangxi is such a pleasant place. After attending a concert in Nanning, I thought I'd come to Yangshuo for a vacation. For me, a good hotel can meet many needs. From hardware to software, thoughtful service makes you feel more at ease. From the moment I entered the hotel, I felt that thoughtfulness. I'm quite a stickler for details. The hotel's cleanliness, the maintenance of its public areas, and even the toiletries are all meticulously chosen. The refrigerator, kettle, and hairdryer are all carefully prepared and not just thrown in. Also, the bathrobe is incredibly comfortable! That's a rare find! I booked a room with a terrace, and sitting there in the afternoon or early morning, you can really feel the tranquility of the mountains. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and there was also an afternoon tea (the desserts were tasty too). Initially, when I came to Yangshuo, I only felt that the scenery was beautiful. But staying at this hotel, I truly realized that even in such a so-called 'paradise,' you can experience a different, perhaps even more luxurious, feeling. Honestly, if you want an excellent experience when you come to Yangshuo, you can choose this hotel. It's incredibly convenient whether you're going to eat at Ten-Mile Gallery or explore the old town. More importantly, the scenery viewed from within the hotel is absolutely twice as wonderful, without the crowds and noise (a true resort destination!). You really can fall in love with a city because of a hotel. Everything above is my genuine feeling. The hotel's attention to detail is truly heartfelt, especially the large public lawn in front of the hotel, which gives a very relaxing and pleasant feeling. Considering the guest's experience, thumbs up! (I'll attach some photos, all from my personal experience, for your reference.)

I found this to be an exceptional hotel and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my stay. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed, helping me book local experiences at discounted rates exclusive to hotel guests and providing a range of complimentary activities, including afternoon tea, an evening sweet treat, a singing bowl session, and a craft-making workshop. Breakfast was included, and I also enjoyed dinner at the hotel, which was excellent. As a vegan, it is not always easy to find good dining options in China, but the hotel was able to provide delicious vegan meals, which I greatly appreciated. Communication was handled through WeChat, with regular updates and helpful reminders from the staff. Because everything was managed through the app, the language barrier was never an issue, even though most of the staff did not speak English. I also enjoyed spending time in the outdoor swimming pool, and there was plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. It was a wonderfully relaxing break, and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

This stay truly exceeded my expectations; it was comfortable throughout! Check-in at the front desk was quick, and the staff were gentle and patient, always promptly answering any questions. They even proactively helped organize itineraries and routes for places I wanted to visit. The room was clean and tidy, with no strange odors. The bedding was comfortable, ensuring a very sound sleep. The bathroom had strong water pressure and quick hot water, and the toiletries were complete and effective. The hotel as a whole was quiet and peaceful, with good soundproofing, allowing for excellent rest. The decor was simple yet elegant, and the public areas were clean and tidy. The location was also convenient, making travel and dining very easy. Housekeeping service was thorough, with great attention to detail – nothing felt rushed or neglected. The late-night snacks and breakfast were delicious too! The deer and horses were incredibly cute, and the hotel was super photogenic everywhere you looked, producing stunning photos straight from the camera. And the view from the window? Absolutely breathtaking!

Service: I communicated with the hotel in advance that my partner and I would be staying, and we were pleasantly surprised to find our room simply decorated with a complimentary small cake! All hotel services are handled via a WeChat group. Upon check-in, they send breakfast and drink menus. The butler was very responsive to messages in the WeChat group, but the complimentary bicycle rental was never mentioned. Dining: Breakfast is à la carte, and the presentation is exquisite. However, the taste was just so-so. The beef brisket noodle soup had very hard noodles, and the Spanish omelet was quite greasy. The biggest issue was that some breakfast dishes took an excessively long time to be served. The afternoon tea offers some paid snacks that tasted good. We also set aside one evening to dine at the hotel. The crispy farm duck and stir-fried cured meat with fresh bamboo shoots were delicious, but I wouldn't recommend the black pepper short ribs! The late-night snack also included two soups (one sweet, one savory) and a fruit platter. Cleanliness: On our first night, while getting ready, we found a long hair that didn't belong to us on the showerhead. For a hotel in this price range, that's really unacceptable, and I hope they pay more attention to this in the future!

From a facilities perspective, it feels more like a converted guesthouse, so if you're looking for a hotel-style accommodation, this might not be for you. Firstly, the public areas aren't carpeted, the door locks aren't what you'd find in a high-end hotel, and while the overall decor has some design elements, it lacks a cohesive theme, feeling rather jumbled and without much quality. In the room, the vanity and bathtub are semi-open plan, and there's only one sink. The bathroom has old-fashioned frosted glass partitions – in short, it doesn't feel like a slightly more upscale hotel. The overall design comfort is not as good as Atour hotels. The balcony view is okay, but just okay. The chaotic design contributes to a perception of less cleanliness; you always feel the balcony is dusty and the bathroom isn't very clean. As I was traveling with a friend, we didn't use the semi-open bathtub, so I can't really comment on its cleanliness. The complimentary photography service was particularly bad. The photographer wasn't very professional; it felt like they were just trying to get the job done, with no guidance or aesthetic sense. I wouldn't recommend relying on this service for good photos. Despite not meeting expectations, I gave this place a high rating because of its service. From the pick-up driver (the pick-up service was excellent, a comfortable business car, enthusiastic introductions all the way) to the welcoming front desk staff, to the bartender, everyone was incredibly warm and welcoming. You can tell everyone truly loves working here. They remembered every guest's name, enthusiastically introduced every area, anticipated needs, responded promptly, and genuinely smiled and bowed to guests – something many luxury hotel staff fail to do! Most staff members wore multiple hats, and each one was outstanding, performing their duties excellently and demonstrating impressive training. On the day we left, they not only helped us with our luggage but also offered water to the driver. As our car drove away, the staff continued to bow in farewell, which was incredibly touching. By the way, smoking isn't prohibited indoors in Guangxi, so smelling smoke in the bar at night was quite unpleasant (I did provide feedback to the hotel and hope for improvements). If you're looking to experience exceptional service in a great guesthouse, this place is definitely worth a try. If you're utterly disappointed with luxury service, you might also want to check out this place. The genuine and warm hospitality is truly this place's greatest charm and best selling point.🫰

This was my first time in Yangshuo, and I stumbled upon this hotel on my way back. I only realized it was in an ancient town – Fuli Ancient Town by the Li River – once I arrived. The hotel's 4th floor offers the best viewing spot, and you can take a bamboo raft right downstairs. They also have free parking and charging stations. The manager was excellent, very enthusiastic, and eager to introduce us to the town's unique features and local culture. We arrived a bit late, so we missed out on the hotel's special activities, but the customer service sister upgraded our room for free, which we really appreciated. The best part was after walking through several empty streets at night, we found a restaurant that was still open! We had delicious Sichuan-style fish (the owner bought the fish fresh!) and stir-fried twice-cooked pork with snow peas. It was a wonderful experience, definitely five stars!

The hygiene was excellent; even the tiles in the hallway were spotless, and the public areas were very clean, with staff cleaning early in the morning. The overall environment was quite good, nestled against the mountains, offering a serene atmosphere. However, the appearance of the residential houses outside the hotel somewhat lowered the overall standard. What I most want to complain about is the service. When we checked in, we were told the highest floor wasn't ready yet, so we went out. No one informed us when the room was ready, so we ended up staying on a lower floor when we returned. A butler contacted us in advance to inquire about our itinerary, offer suggestions, and claim they had discounted tickets for performances. However, after checking prices through other channels, we found theirs to be more expensive and politely declined. The butler then became passive-aggressive, which was very uncomfortable. The next morning, the rice noodle stall at breakfast was utterly chaotic; whoever showed up got the noodles. The breakfast greetings also felt abrupt and robotic; it would be better to just cancel them. Regarding the cormorant show in the morning, animal performances are already a sensitive topic, and the staff treated the animals very roughly, grabbing them by the neck and throwing them. With so many children watching, whose concepts and behaviors are still developing, this could easily lead them to imitate such actions and be misguided. The large lawn had various facilities and activities, including individual rooms with TVs to watch the World Cup, which was a highlight. The main downside is the remote location and poor transportation facilities, making it inconvenient to go anywhere for dining or sightseeing.

Came to Yangshuo for a relaxing weekend with my bestie. I have to praise the 24-hour online, super-attentive butler service here – it really takes all the stress out of everything. No matter how big or small our requests were, they were always perfectly arranged, making the whole experience absolutely fantastic. The afternoon tea was a sweet little romantic touch that really hit the spot! We got to hand-paint our own unique lacquer fans, depicting the beautiful landscapes of our Yangshuo trip. It's a lovely souvenir to take home, and every time I see it, it'll remind me of this journey. The vibe was just perfect. But the biggest surprise was the free travel photoshoot! A stylist and photographer followed us around the whole time, so we didn't have to worry about finding good angles ourselves. In just half an hour, we got so many atmospheric photos. It saved us a bunch on photography, which was enough to enjoy several rounds of delicious food on West Street! Breakfast is a semi-buffet with a wide variety of options – eating our fill before heading out to explore was super comfortable. And when we returned to the hotel late at night, we could still enjoy freshly cooked Guilin rice noodles as a late-night snack. First, you dry-mix and slurp them, then add broth after. A warm, comforting bite, and all the fatigue just melts away. The location is also incredible! It's within walking distance of the Yulong River, and only a ten-minute drive to the Romance Park and Ten-Mile Gallery. We rented a scooter and leisurely rode along the Yulong River, weaving through the mountains and rivers. Every single view was so beautiful I didn't want to blink!

After a careful selection process, I ended up with a truly disappointing hotel! I arrived full of expectations, but upon checking in at the lobby, the whole place felt more like a guesthouse. The service team also lacked professionalism and didn't live up to the hotel's price tag. After check-in, a staff member took my luggage to the room. The room lighting was dim and uncomfortable. The guest room was right by the road, and the soundproofing was terrible; I could clearly hear all the traffic. The bathroom size was decent, but the toilet wasn't smart, was difficult to flush, and splashed water! The TV was small, but you could cast to it. And believe it or not, the complimentary welcome fruit was rotten! There were no trash cans in the room, so I had to take all my trash to the bathroom. Dinner was the most disheartening part! It was incredibly bad! Every single dish was unappetizing, with the only acceptable one being the stir-fried bok choy. The moment the first dish arrived, I knew it was going to be a disaster. The serving order was completely messed up; cold dishes weren't served first. Instead, they brought out a hot stir-fried beef dish, and I immediately knew it was over. When ordering takeout, I was told it could only be delivered to the guardhouse, but I could contact guest services to have it brought to my room. For a resort-style hotel, breakfast only runs until 10:00 AM, whereas most resorts serve breakfast until at least 11 AM or later. However, after that first dinner, we didn't even bother with breakfast, and we avoided every meal afterward, afraid of hitting another culinary low.

We booked the 180° view twin room yesterday, which is 80 square meters. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by large floor-to-ceiling windows and a spacious balcony showcasing the most beautiful stretch of the Yulong River's Ten-Mile Gallery. It felt like a grand landscape painting right before our eyes – truly breathtaking! All the room amenities were thoughtful and complete, and they even provided two pairs of high-quality cotton and linen slippers, which I loved. The complimentary travel photoshoot was also fantastic; we were very happy with the photos. We'll definitely visit again if we have the chance, or recommend it to family and friends.
