Staying at the Xi Shi Jin She Hotel was an incredibly healing experience amidst the beautiful landscapes of Yangshuo. The hotel is located right by the Yulong River, and with the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, you're greeted by stunning karst peaks, with bamboo rafts slowly gliding by on the river – it feels like living inside a traditional Chinese ink painting. The room was clean and tidy, the toiletries were of excellent quality, and the facilities were exquisite and comprehensive. The butler service was attentive and thoughtful, and the authentic Guilin rice noodles for breakfast were fresh and delicious. The rooftop infinity pool offered amazing photo opportunities. It's also super convenient for visiting the Ten-Mile Gallery. This is definitely my top choice for a stay in Yangshuo, a perfect experience!

Every member of the team was incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely cared about every guest. We even spoke with several other guests, and everyone agreed—this hotel far exceeded all expectations. 🏔️ Rooms & Views Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. Waking up to the breathtaking mountain views every morning was unforgettable. 🎭 Activities Included There are so many activities that we simply didn’t have enough time to try everything! We especially loved the complimentary traditional Chinese photoshoot (including 3 professionally edited photos) and the traditional cormorant fishing demonstration. 🍕 Restaurant & Breakfast The restaurant was amazing. Alongside delicious Chinese cuisine, it also serves excellent European food. After weeks of traveling, our kids were craving familiar meals, and the truffle pizza, truffle pasta, and Margherita pizza were absolutely incredible. 😍 Breakfast was equally impressive, with a fantastic selection of hot dishes, fresh fruit, pastries, desserts, and drinks—all with spectacular mountain views. 👨👩👧👦 Perfect for Families A large kids’ playroom, a beautiful swimming pool with a children’s area, and plenty of space for families. Our kids absolutely loved it. 🏋️ Extra Amenities The hotel also has a laundry room and a small gym, which are especially convenient for longer stays. ☕ Don’t Miss the Second Hotel The hotel has a second property just 300 meters away, connected by a complimentary shuttle. We highly recommend visiting it for a coffee on the terrace overlooking the river and mountains. 📸 Please note: All of the river-view photos in this review were taken at the hotel’s second property. ❤️ Everything about this place—the scenery, the atmosphere, the activities, and most importantly, the incredible people—made our stay unforgettable. Tongxiang doesn't just feel like a luxurious hotel; it's a place that thoroughly draws you in, allowing you to immerse yourself in a tranquil and private atmosphere. Whether you're in your room or the restaurant, you're greeted by a picturesque, ink-wash landscape painting of Yangshuo and the Zen-like serenity of emerald bamboo groves. The service is incredibly comfortable and thoughtful; they always check with me about my preferences and plans, whether it's for room cleaning or an evening snack. It would be absolutely perfect if they could improve their mosquito control efforts. Breakfast is à la carte, and every dish is beautifully presented and tastes delicious. After checking out, they didn't push for a five-star review; instead, they simply asked for any feedback on areas for improvement, showing a guest-first attitude that makes Tongxiang my top choice for future visits to Yangshuo.

Our stay with the kids was fantastic! They had so much fun they didn't want to leave. The hotel has a dedicated kids' club where they can play to their heart's content. The afternoon tea and breakfast provided were both exquisite! (Great presentation too, haha!) In the lobby, you can enjoy oil tea, sew embroidered balls, and try on Zhuang ethnic costumes for free photos. It's very suitable for families with children. The overall environment is comfortable, and the service is thoughtful and attentive. Highly recommend for family trips!

We brought our kids to Yangshuo for a holiday, and the window view at this hotel completely cured my soul! The massive floor-to-ceiling windows offer an unobstructed view, letting you take in the karst peaks and green rice paddies right from your bed. Clouds drift around the mountaintops, and the landscape unfolds like a moving traditional Chinese painting, bringing you up close and personal with nature – the ambiance is absolutely incredible 🌿. The 'Sky Mirror' on the rooftop is a must-visit spot. The reflection of the unique peaks, blue sky, and white clouds in the mirror makes for stunning, 'healing' photos every time. Downstairs, there's an outdoor pool and a fun kids' playground, keeping the little ones happy splashing around all day long. The dining experience was incredibly thoughtful. They offer a rich buffet breakfast, exquisite afternoon tea, and even comforting late-night noodles. It's a one-stop solution for food and accommodation when traveling with kids.

This guesthouse completely exceeded our expectations; it's practically built to star-hotel standards! We were so surprised and delighted. From the booking process to check-in, and even having the air conditioning already on in our room, everything demonstrated incredibly thoughtful service. The dining was a major highlight! We initially thought we'd have to go to a farm restaurant for the same old dishes (beer fish and bamboo rice), but the hotel restaurant's food was excellent. Our kids loved it too, so we ended up eating lunch and dinner at the hotel. The staff were warm, attentive, and had fantastic attitudes! We really hope to visit Yangshuo again and stay at your Wa Pan Yin She next time. 👍👍👍 Our kids and family were very happy and enjoyed our stay immensely!

🏔️😱 Don’t know how it was possible, but this hotel was even more beautiful in real life than the photos. Built inside a renovated historic sugar factory, Yangshuo Sugar House combines the refined aesthetics of the mountain landscape with historical architectural elegance. ✨ 🚙🌾 The hotel offers various free and at-cost activities you can book through their concierge. We wanted to go see the Longji Rice Steps during our stay, which is about an 2.5 hour drive away from Yangshuo by car. I messaged the hotel the day before we arrived and they were able to arrange a private driver to take us there and back over an 8 hour trip. Mr. Qin was amazing and very kind! He took us directly to buy the tickets and then drove us to the entrance point of the cable car. There was pretty extreme rain on the way back and he got us down the mountain very efficiently. It was an extremely memorable day which was only made possible by the hotel’s extraordinary attentive drivers and diligent concierge staff. ⭐️ 🍴The room comes with a daily buffet breakfast, free soft drinks, and fruit. The hotel restaurant is good, but breakfast is really where the food shines. So many delicious options to choose from, and there was adorable panda shaped buns 🐼 📸 The hotel also offers free travel photography on the premises, which takes about 30~ minutes and you receive 5 free photos, with additional available to purchase at 50 yuan. It was fun and very efficient! 🌸 Overall, a major highlight of our China trip & we wish we had stayed longer. Thank you again!

Staying here felt like stepping into a traditional Chinese landscape painting, and the 270-degree panoramic view was absolutely breathtaking! The cantilevered hot spring was perfect for soaking away all my fatigue, the service was attentive, and it was a fantastic spot for photos. There's no need to think about anything here; just spending the whole day relaxing is the ultimate vacation. The hotel also offers a complimentary travel photoshoot, which turned out great, and the photographer was excellent. Highly recommend!

This resort hotel I stayed at during my trip has an excellent environment. The outdoor pool is divided into children's and adult sections, making water activities very comfortable. The location is also central yet quiet, and the rooms have balconies with mountain views. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to West Street in the afternoon, which is a thoughtful touch. The breakfast spread is rich, with a good variety of fruits, salads, and milk. All rooms are modern in style. There's also a laundry room with dryers and charging stations in the parking lot. The facilities are quite comprehensive, making it a worthwhile stay.
