Staying at the Xi Shi Jin She Hotel was an incredibly healing experience amidst the beautiful landscapes of Yangshuo. The hotel is located right by the Yulong River, and with the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, you're greeted by stunning karst peaks, with bamboo rafts slowly gliding by on the river – it feels like living inside a traditional Chinese ink painting. The room was clean and tidy, the toiletries were of excellent quality, and the facilities were exquisite and comprehensive. The butler service was attentive and thoughtful, and the authentic Guilin rice noodles for breakfast were fresh and delicious. The rooftop infinity pool offered amazing photo opportunities. It's also super convenient for visiting the Ten-Mile Gallery. This is definitely my top choice for a stay in Yangshuo, a perfect experience!

From the moment we arrived, we knew this place was truly special. ❤️ 💛 Staff & Service Without a doubt, the best service we experienced during our trip to China. Every member of the team was incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely cared about every guest. We even spoke with several other guests, and everyone agreed—this hotel far exceeded all expectations. 🏔️ Rooms & Views Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. Waking up to the breathtaking mountain views every morning was unforgettable. 🎭 Activities Included There are so many activities that we simply didn’t have enough time to try everything! We especially loved the complimentary traditional Chinese photoshoot (including 3 professionally edited photos) and the traditional cormorant fishing demonstration. 🍕 Restaurant & Breakfast The restaurant was amazing. Alongside delicious Chinese cuisine, it also serves excellent European food. After weeks of traveling, our kids were craving familiar meals, and the truffle pizza, truffle pasta, and Margherita pizza were absolutely incredible. 😍 Breakfast was equally impressive, with a fantastic selection of hot dishes, fresh fruit, pastries, desserts, and drinks—all with spectacular mountain views. 👨👩👧👦 Perfect for Families A large kids’ playroom, a beautiful swimming pool with a children’s area, and plenty of space for families. Our kids absolutely loved it. 🏋️ Extra Amenities The hotel also has a laundry room and a small gym, which are especially convenient for longer stays. ☕ Don’t Miss the Second Hotel The hotel has a second property just 300 meters away, connected by a complimentary shuttle. We highly recommend visiting it for a coffee on the terrace overlooking the river and mountains. 📸 Please note: All of the river-view photos in this review were taken at the hotel’s second property. ❤️ Everything about this place—the scenery, the atmosphere, the activities, and most importantly, the incredible people—made our stay unforgettable. This stay truly exceeded my expectations; it was comfortable throughout! Check-in at the front desk was quick, and the staff were gentle and patient, always promptly answering any questions. They even proactively helped organize itineraries and routes for places I wanted to visit. The room was clean and tidy, with no strange odors. The bedding was comfortable, ensuring a very sound sleep. The bathroom had strong water pressure and quick hot water, and the toiletries were complete and effective. The hotel as a whole was quiet and peaceful, with good soundproofing, allowing for excellent rest. The decor was simple yet elegant, and the public areas were clean and tidy. The location was also convenient, making travel and dining very easy. Housekeeping service was thorough, with great attention to detail – nothing felt rushed or neglected. The late-night snacks and breakfast were delicious too! The deer and horses were incredibly cute, and the hotel was super photogenic everywhere you looked, producing stunning photos straight from the camera. And the view from the window? Absolutely breathtaking!

Hidden away in the mountains, Muye Hotel offers a peaceful and relaxing environment, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. The rooms are clean and tidy with simple yet elegant decor, and the bedding ensures a very comfortable sleep. The front desk staff are warm and attentive, responding quickly to any requests. The views from the windows are expansive and perfect for taking great photos. Overall, it's excellent value for money. It's a very comfortable place for a relaxing holiday, and definitely worth another visit!

In Yangshuo! Living within a landscape painting 🥰 This hotel is absolutely stunning~ The room is huge, with a dedicated walk-in closet and a vanity table 🪞! Plus, there's a super-sized bathtub~ Open the curtains in your room, and you're greeted by a picturesque landscape. Witnessing the awe-inspiring artistry of nature, all your worries simply melt away. No noisy hawkers, far from the hustle and bustle of West Street. There's also an infinity pool 🏊‍♀️ and an outdoor rooftop terrace~ Upon check-in, you can enjoy: ✅ Exclusive afternoon tea ✅ Free bicycle usage ✅ Oil tea making experience ✅ Free use of traditional clothing and professional travel photography service Nearby attractions: ✅ Gongnong Bridge Just a few minutes' walk! From the bridge, you can capture photos of the Yulong River and the surrounding mountains. Sunset and blue hour moments are incredibly beautiful~ At night, you can even see the 'Golden Dragon Parade'. ✅ Shuangliu Ferry Pavilion You can cycle there using the hotel's bikes! The endless pastoral scenery unfolds before your eyes. Along the way, you'll find rice fields, watermills, and ancient bridges, with tons of swings available for free use!!! ✅ Yitian West Street A lively market with lots of snacks, ethnic clothing, jewelry... and a bridge adorned with wishing plaques~ ✅ Yulong River banks Just a few steps from the hotel, you'll find a riverside path. Nestled against the mountains and by the water, it's a feast for the eyes with lush green hills and clear waters.

Choosing this hotel and staying for two consecutive nights was the smartest decision of my trip. Definitely pick Building 1 or 6, as the views from the windows are absolutely stunning. The butler gave me the room with the second-best view in the hotel – the best one had guests extending their stay. The view from the huge floor-to-ceiling windows was truly spectacular! The room itself was also super spacious, with everything you could need! There was a wardrobe, hangers, a fridge, and a super long desk behind the bed, perfect for snacks, selfies, or even setting up a DJI drone. The bathroom was also incredibly large; you can imagine how big it was when I tell you I could open both my suitcases in there! It made getting clothes in and out super convenient. I took a video of the room when checking in, but didn't import it to my phone, so I don't have any photos. I also recommend checking out other buildings; there are many photo spots that are perfect for Instagram! I took tons of pictures, and even rainy weather didn't stop me from getting great shots. The complimentary hotel photography session didn't quite match my desired 'fishermen singing at dusk' vibe, so I booked the shoot wearing my own clothes. I got 3 retouched photos without paying anything, and the staff were still very pleasant! The only thing is, when I looked closely at home, one of the photos wasn't high-resolution, and when I messaged them about it, they didn't reply. The cormorant fishing performance was amazing – the cormorants dive underwater to catch fish, and they're incredibly skilled! They caught fish very quickly after entering the water! It's that ancient method, and while it looks a bit cruel, the fish they catch are ultimately fed to them. After the performance, you can queue up for a free photo opportunity! The butler service was also excellent! Highly recommended!

Bringing my whole family, including seniors and kids, to Yangshuo for summer vacation, choosing the FaDai Hotel was an excellent decision! The transportation is convenient, and getting around to nearby attractions is smooth. The room's view is absolutely fantastic; my kids spent every day glued to the window, watching the mountains and rivers. The breakfast is well-balanced and nutritious, with light options suitable for both elderly guests and children. The butler service is very attentive and proactively offered suggestions for family-friendly activities. The free travel photoshoot was a huge bonus; the photographer was great at entertaining the kids, making it easy to capture natural and warm family photos. It allowed us to relax while keeping the kids entertained. We'll definitely be back!

Nestled in the mountains, this hotel boasts a clean and airy design with a pure white, Instagrammable aesthetic. The floor-to-ceiling windows perfectly frame the entire peak forest, while the pool and sky mirror provide fantastic photo opportunities for creating atmospheric shots. It's also exceptionally family-friendly. Just a few steps away is the Sanshuo Jisu hotel, which offers a quiet and elegant French retro style. A stroll along the rooftop walkway brings the refreshing mountain breeze, carrying the scent of grass and trees. Located amidst the mountains and rivers, there's no need to rush to tourist attractions. You can simply relax on the terrace, sipping tea and gazing at the clouds as they roll over the peaks. It's a place to escape the hustle and bustle, to find a relaxed and carefree Yangshuo experience in the heart of nature.

We stayed at New West Street International Hotel for total of 10 nights as we accompanied our child at a nearby Chinese school in the summer. This extended time gave us the opportunity to really got to experience the hotel facilities, the food, and the service.  First the location.The actual location is about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the actual West Street. To us, the distance is actually a good thing. Food, shops, and amenities at West Street are overly tailored for tourists. The hotel location is quiet and peaceful. Nearby are many local restaurants and shops that we much preferred. In fact, we found ourselves walking away from the West Street direction to get some great local foods everyday of our stay. That said, the hotel offers an excellent shuttle service beginning at 3:30pm until late at night if that's what you are into.  Second, the hotel building itself is in excellent condition. It appears many of the facilities and rooms were recently renovated. The lobby is open and airy and makes a comfortable gathering spot for us to meet our friends before heading out. The hotel sometimes accommodates tour groups. Even when we see as many as three tour buses parked in the back, the hotel does not feel congested nor noisy. The room itself is tastefully updated with a large flat screen TV, USB-C chargers, and automated curtains. The beds were comfortable and our balcony room faced a beautiful karst mountain and a nearby pond. The room appears to have great noisy insulation. We did not hear our neighbors like we did in other Chinese hotels. Third, the place is always clean. We see staff cleaning public areas all the time, wiping down handrails, elevator buttons, countertops. etc. As for our room, the home keeper always kept it clean and orderly. We had some problems with smell the first day. A housekeeper came and troubleshoot the problem to durian smell in the mini-fridge. Not only did she wipe it down, but even without us asking, the later came back with another mini-fridge to make sure no smell was left. That really made an impression on us. Next, the staff. Everyone we encountered was always friendly and greeted us. From the cleaning staff to the front desk reception to the restaurant waiters. Everyone was friendly. We can only speak limited mandarin but the staff still talked to us best they could in English. Rachel, the manager on site, was especially friendly to make sure we got everything we needed. She understands we were staying for an extended period of time so she was always asking what can be improved for our long stay. The hotel added us to WeChat where they respond quickly to all the typical requests like room service to sending us extra water. I wish more hotels do this.  Finally, the facilities. We used the laundry room daily. There are 5 washers and 3 dryers by my count. Most of the time, I can find an empty machine to wash my laundry. Mornings are best for doing laundry. After dinner time is the busiest time. We occasionally had to take out other people's laundry that were just sitting there but it's rare. The pool is large, warm, and clean. The shallow end is perfect for kids or just wading around. The deep end is 1.7M deep so it's plenty for actual swimming. We also used the on-site travel agent to book a private transfer to the Guilin high speed station. Rachel happened to be nearby when we did this and she helped with some translation with the agent and it was very appreciated. The restaurant was large and there was always space for us to sit even when there are large tour groups. It offers mainly Chinese options but also have some Western items. Food was abundant and delicious. The Guilin rice noodles in the back is tasty and the broth is excellent. The only thing is the coffee could be a little bit better! We loved our stay at the New West Street International Hotel and would not hesitate to go back next time we visit Yangshuo. 

Yangshuo Shixi Tianyue Hotel boasts an excellent location, within walking distance to West Street and the Li River pier. It's a peaceful retreat, away from the hustle and bustle. The rooms are spacious and clean, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering scenic mountain and river views, and the bedding is very comfortable. The rooftop Sky Mirror is perfect for photos. The hotel also features a swimming pool, a kids' playground, and a rich breakfast selection. The service is attentive and thoughtful, and parking is convenient for those driving. It's easy to get around and explore, offering great value for money.
