Shidandanya-Just checked out of Yangshuo Xishi Jinshe, and I absolutely loved it! The location is unbeatable, right by the Yulong River. Open the window and you're greeted with stunning green mountains and clear waters, with bamboo rafts floating right past. The scenery and the vacation vibe are just incredible.
The room has a wabi-sabi aesthetic – clean, sophisticated, and the bedding is super comfortable. The service is incredibly thoughtful; they arranged afternoon tea and even a goodnight dessert. The infinity pool is also perfect for taking amazing photos. If you're coming to Yangshuo, staying here is definitely worth it!

YelianghaogeqiuThis guesthouse is located near the Comprehensive Wharf (Gongnong Bridge) and right by the Big Banyan Tree scenic area. It's nestled in a village, with a village road in front and a dedicated parking lot. The lobby on the first floor has a tea station, and they thoughtfully provide things like band-aids, dental floss, and mosquito repellent. The service is excellent; the housekeeper contacts you in advance. Afternoon tea is delivered to your room daily, and there's sweet soup in the evening.
The restaurant is on the 6th floor, and their rice noodles for breakfast are delicious. Dinner is also fantastic; I highly recommend the 'Immortal Chicken,' pan-fried Wagyu with butter, and crispy Hehua fish. If you're with a large group, it's a good idea to book a table and order in advance. The food here is much better than the other local restaurants and farmhouses nearby.

This stay truly exceeded my expectations; it was comfortable throughout! Check-in at the front desk was quick, and the staff were gentle and patient, always promptly answering any questions. They even proactively helped organize itineraries and routes for places I wanted to visit. The room was clean and tidy, with no strange odors. The bedding was comfortable, ensuring a very sound sleep. The bathroom had strong water pressure and quick hot water, and the toiletries were complete and effective. The hotel as a whole was quiet and peaceful, with good soundproofing, allowing for excellent rest. The decor was simple yet elegant, and the public areas were clean and tidy. The location was also convenient, making travel and dining very easy. Housekeeping service was thorough, with great attention to detail – nothing felt rushed or neglected. The late-night snacks and breakfast were delicious too! The deer and horses were incredibly cute, and the hotel was super photogenic everywhere you looked, producing stunning photos straight from the camera. And the view from the window? Absolutely breathtaking!

Service: I communicated with the hotel in advance that my partner and I would be staying, and we were pleasantly surprised to find our room simply decorated with a complimentary small cake! All hotel services are handled via a WeChat group. Upon check-in, they send breakfast and drink menus. The butler was very responsive to messages in the WeChat group, but the complimentary bicycle rental was never mentioned.
Dining: Breakfast is à la carte, and the presentation is exquisite. However, the taste was just so-so. The beef brisket noodle soup had very hard noodles, and the Spanish omelet was quite greasy. The biggest issue was that some breakfast dishes took an excessively long time to be served. The afternoon tea offers some paid snacks that tasted good. We also set aside one evening to dine at the hotel. The crispy farm duck and stir-fried cured meat with fresh bamboo shoots were delicious, but I wouldn't recommend the black pepper short ribs! The late-night snack also included two soups (one sweet, one savory) and a fruit platter.
Cleanliness: On our first night, while getting ready, we found a long hair that didn't belong to us on the showerhead. For a hotel in this price range, that's really unacceptable, and I hope they pay more attention to this in the future!

Anonymous UserThis hotel in Yangshuo was absolutely fantastic! Before we even stepped inside, a staff member warmly greeted us and helped with our luggage. They also gave us a great rundown of all the fun and photogenic spots around the hotel. 😄
The bedding and amenities were top-notch. They had a Bose speaker and a Dyson hairdryer, and the room even had a bathtub for a relaxing soak 🛁. As soon as we entered, we saw fresh seasonal fruit thoughtfully prepared by the staff.
For anyone like me who’s too lazy to go out for food, I highly recommend the hotel's own restaurant. The Beer Fish was incredibly delicious, and the Yangshuo-style Oil Tea Chicken is definitely worth trying too! 👍

Congmingxiaomianbao✅ Absolutely stunning views: The room with the large balcony we booked was incredibly worth it. The Li River and mountains were right outside our window – truly a 'window overlooking a thousand years of snow on the Western Hills' kind of vibe (even though it's summer, haha). Drinking tea and enjoying the scenery on the balcony morning and evening was so relaxing, I didn't want to leave.
✅ Excellent Chinese aesthetic: The hotel's design is very charming, with its grey bricks and black tiles. Every casual photo turns out beautifully. Don't miss it if you love traditional Chinese photography.
✅ Perfect for relaxation: You absolutely must visit the 'Sky Mirror' and the pool on the top floor. The views are expansive, and a swim feels like it washes away all the stress of work.
Overall, this is a hotel that offers both beauty and comfort. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to relax and unwind in Yangshuo! 💯

Tianmingfeizi0The hygiene was excellent; even the tiles in the hallway were spotless, and the public areas were very clean, with staff cleaning early in the morning.
The overall environment was quite good, nestled against the mountains, offering a serene atmosphere. However, the appearance of the residential houses outside the hotel somewhat lowered the overall standard.
What I most want to complain about is the service. When we checked in, we were told the highest floor wasn't ready yet, so we went out. No one informed us when the room was ready, so we ended up staying on a lower floor when we returned. A butler contacted us in advance to inquire about our itinerary, offer suggestions, and claim they had discounted tickets for performances. However, after checking prices through other channels, we found theirs to be more expensive and politely declined. The butler then became passive-aggressive, which was very uncomfortable. The next morning, the rice noodle stall at breakfast was utterly chaotic; whoever showed up got the noodles. The breakfast greetings also felt abrupt and robotic; it would be better to just cancel them. Regarding the cormorant show in the morning, animal performances are already a sensitive topic, and the staff treated the animals very roughly, grabbing them by the neck and throwing them. With so many children watching, whose concepts and behaviors are still developing, this could easily lead them to imitate such actions and be misguided.
The large lawn had various facilities and activities, including individual rooms with TVs to watch the World Cup, which was a highlight. The main downside is the remote location and poor transportation facilities, making it inconvenient to go anywhere for dining or sightseeing.

Guest UserStaying at the Yangshuo Julong Xiaozhen Hotel, I finally understood what ”scenery from the window” truly means! It was such a delight to enjoy the views right from my bed. Getting around was easy, and the hotel arranged transportation to nearby attractions. There were electric scooters available for rent right at the entrance, and a local guide took us on a ride. You absolutely must try their rice noodles for breakfast; they were incredibly authentic. The afternoon tea was exquisite, and they even organized special craft activities. In the evening, there was a heartwarming late-night snack. It was a truly perfect experience, like living inside a traditional Chinese landscape painting! The hotel is also very convenient for travel photography; you can take beautiful photos without even leaving the premises. The Sky Mirror on the rooftop is absolutely stunning and provides excellent photo opportunities. The photographer's service was also excellent!

Guest UserSugar House was one of the highlights of our trip to China. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had chosen somewhere special.
The hotel is beautifully designed, blending contemporary luxury with its historic surroundings in a way that feels both unique and peaceful. Our room was spacious, stylish and extremely comfortable, with stunning views over the karst landscape. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring Yangshuo.
The food was outstanding throughout our stay. Breakfast offered a great selection of both Chinese and Western options, and every meal we had at the hotel restaurant was beautifully prepared using excellent local ingredients. Everything was consistently excellent and a real highlight of our stay.
What really elevated our experience, however, was the exceptional service. Every member of staff was warm, welcoming and genuinely eager to help. They assisted us in arranging transport and offered excellent recommendations for exploring the surrounding area, making everything effortless.
The location was perfect for us—peaceful and secluded, yet within easy reach of Yangshuo’s incredible scenery. We spent the day rafting on the Yulong River, visiting Fuli Bridge, Moon Hill and Xingping, before returning to relax by the beautiful riverside pool each evening. It was the ideal balance of adventure and tranquillity.
Sugar House is much more than a luxury hotel; it is a destination in its own right. We left wishing we had booked an extra night and would not hesitate to return. It is a truly exceptional place that we will remember for a very long time.

FM_WANGThe hotel is right next to the Ten-Mile Gallery. As soon as you open the curtains in your room, you're greeted with a beautiful view. The hotel also offers free bicycles to explore the area, along with various activities and complimentary travel photography sessions.
