The room was quite spacious and had a balcony with a glimpse of the Li River, which was a pleasant surprise. The room facilities were well-planned and functional. The inn's decor was stylish, with a Chinese aesthetic that made every photo-op Instagram-worthy – perfect for ladies in traditional outfits. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and spoke excellent English, which explains the high number of foreign guests and the great atmosphere. Their ground-floor restaurant has been on the 'must-eat' list for several years running and is very famous and popular locally, with long queues every day – definitely give it a try. Hotel guests get a 10% discount, and remember to ask the front desk to arrange a table for you to skip the queue, otherwise, you'll be waiting forever.

I absolutely loved Valley House for its location, cleanliness, exquisite taste, and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The rooms are spacious, elegantly decorated, and spotlessly clean. The views are unbeatable: the Li River is just a few meters away, and the famous mountains depicted on the 20 yuan banknote are right in front of the hotel. You just have to cross the street to rent a scooter. If you walk about 15 meters further down towards the Li River, you can book a bamboo boat ride, join a fisherman to observe the ancient practice of cormorant fishing, or simply stroll and relax along the bank. Every day, they offer a complimentary assortment of fresh fruit, and at the dining area counter, a variety of homemade beverages, such as homemade lemonade, freshly ground coffee, or date and ginger tea, are available 24/7. They also prepare delicious dishes upon request. The menu is quite extensive and includes vegetarian options, but meals need to be reserved before 9:30 PM the day before. The staff is exceptionally attentive, kind, and highly empathetic, something I had genuinely started to miss during this nearly month-long trip. Suffice it to say that every day, after feasting on their delicious dinners, they would offer me a small bowl of red bean paste soup, just in case I was still hungry. And this is just one example among many of the warm human touch provided by the staff at this hotel. Besides five stars, they deserve a five-heart rating. A real gem and, without a doubt, the best accommodation of this entire trip. I will never forget you. 🥰

The room design is simple and cozy, and the cleanliness is impeccable. The mattress is just the right firmness, which significantly improved my sleep quality! The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, the hot water supply is stable, and the toiletries are of good quality. The Wi-Fi is fast, and the transportation is convenient. There's also a parking lot, and restaurants are right downstairs. The rooftop view is amazing for photos! It's just a few minutes' walk to West Street. Overall, it exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it!!! Great value for money!!

The hygiene was excellent; even the tiles in the hallway were spotless, and the public areas were very clean, with staff cleaning early in the morning. The overall environment was quite good, nestled against the mountains, offering a serene atmosphere. However, the appearance of the residential houses outside the hotel somewhat lowered the overall standard. What I most want to complain about is the service. When we checked in, we were told the highest floor wasn't ready yet, so we went out. No one informed us when the room was ready, so we ended up staying on a lower floor when we returned. A butler contacted us in advance to inquire about our itinerary, offer suggestions, and claim they had discounted tickets for performances. However, after checking prices through other channels, we found theirs to be more expensive and politely declined. The butler then became passive-aggressive, which was very uncomfortable. The next morning, the rice noodle stall at breakfast was utterly chaotic; whoever showed up got the noodles. The breakfast greetings also felt abrupt and robotic; it would be better to just cancel them. Regarding the cormorant show in the morning, animal performances are already a sensitive topic, and the staff treated the animals very roughly, grabbing them by the neck and throwing them. With so many children watching, whose concepts and behaviors are still developing, this could easily lead them to imitate such actions and be misguided. The large lawn had various facilities and activities, including individual rooms with TVs to watch the World Cup, which was a highlight. The main downside is the remote location and poor transportation facilities, making it inconvenient to go anywhere for dining or sightseeing.

Our stay at Fadai was simply wonderful and one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to China. The hotel is located in one of the most beautiful settings for photography, surrounded by stunning mountains and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are extremely spacious and feature a huge bathtub facing the views, allowing you to relax while enjoying the magnificent scenery. It was truly unforgettable. What made our stay even more special was the incredible staff. Everyone was exceptionally kind and always willing to help. They even went out of their way at 10:00 p.m. to find vegetarian food for us, making sure we had dinner despite the late hour. The staff also helped us organize our visit to the local show and made sure we arrived on time. In my opinion, it was the best show I have ever seen in my life. One of the most unique experiences offered by the hotel is the traditional Chinese photo session. The hotel provides three complimentary photos and has several beautiful settings within the property where guests can dress as women from ancient China. The staff help with the traditional costumes, makeup, and poses to ensure the photos turn out beautifully. The results are absolutely stunning. The mountain scenery creates an unforgettable backdrop and leaves you with incredible memories. Our experience at Fadai was truly exceptional, and we recommend this hotel 100%. The location is breathtaking, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the staff are genuinely warm and caring. We booked the 180° view twin room yesterday, which is 80 square meters. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by large floor-to-ceiling windows and a spacious balcony showcasing the most beautiful stretch of the Yulong River's Ten-Mile Gallery. It felt like a grand landscape painting right before our eyes – truly breathtaking! All the room amenities were thoughtful and complete, and they even provided two pairs of high-quality cotton and linen slippers, which I loved. The complimentary travel photoshoot was also fantastic; we were very happy with the photos. We'll definitely visit again if we have the chance, or recommend it to family and friends.

Stayed at 栖心·九隐的院子(阳朔十里画廊遇龙河店) and honestly, the experience was something special. The location is excellent, right beside major attractions, making it very convenient to get around Yangshuo without wasting time on transport. Everything feels within reach. One thing that stood out is their 24/7 home-like service. You can contact them anytime, and they are always responsive and helpful, which makes the stay very comfortable. They also offer 24/7 e-motor rental, which is a must in Yangshuo since it’s part of the local travel culture. Just a small tip — remember to take the umbrella attachment for the bike, the sun can be really intense. What truly makes this place different is the personalised, family-like service. The staff actually pay attention to your habits and travel style, and recommend activities that genuinely suit you instead of pushing touristy options. For example, one day we got caught in the rain while riding back. The staff had actually messaged us earlier to take shelter, but we missed it and ended up drenched. When we returned, they immediately suggested we take a hot shower and even prepared a pot of hot ginger tea with red dates, personally delivering it to our room. It was such a warm and thoughtful gesture. This is not a typical five- or six-star luxury hotel, but that’s not the point. The atmosphere is unique — cosy, warm, and genuinely homely. It feels less like staying at a hotel and more like being taken care of by people who actually care. Highly recommended if you value comfort, warmth, and a more personal travel experience.

The staff are very friendly and helpful with all requests, and the hotel's interior is clean and beautifully designed. The room was clean and comfortable, the overall environment was elegant, and the location was excellent. Right outside the door were West Street Pedestrian Street and the Xiao Lijiang River. The view from the hotel terrace was beautiful. You could rent a scooter and explore for a whole day. Plus, the service was warm and attentive. I was very satisfied with my stay.

Very close to the 20-yuan scenic spot, this place is perfect for families. It has its own dedicated parking lot, which is convenient and safe, and even includes charging stations. There's a pool and a terrace, and the front desk service is excellent – they even helped carry our bags upstairs.
