PPipajiKicking off our spring break, we headed south through Guilin, Yangshuo, Nanning, and Beihai. Yangshuo Wangjianglou Inn was by far the most comfortable and convenient place we stayed. The inn's design and layout exceeded my expectations; the quality was truly impressive. Given the limitations of the building itself, they ingeniously installed a luggage elevator, which was incredibly thoughtful for both guests and staff – big thumbs up! Yangshuo county is quite small, so there's really no need to stay directly in the scenic area (it's inconvenient, overpriced, and you'd need taxis for meals and transportation, adding to costs). Staying in the West Street commercial district was a very smart decision. We stayed and ate at Wangjianglou (for those who know, their restaurant is a super popular, must-try spot in Yangshuo with long queues!). As a guest, you don't have to wait; the front desk concierge helps with reservations directly, and you even get a 10% discount on meals, which is a fantastic deal. I'm already planning to bring my family back after May Day and will definitely be staying at Wangjianglou again!

Ccyj1127Had a fantastic experience! The room was incredibly spacious and very clean. The bed was huge, easily accommodating three people. What's more, from the window, you can see Yuanbao Mountain, which is featured on the 20 Yuan banknote – the scenery is absolutely stunning! My family couldn't stop taking pictures. The courtyard environment is also lovely. The lobby offers complimentary tea and drinks, and the breakfast was delicious. They even provide fruit in the evenings. I especially want to commend the guesthouse staff for their incredibly friendly service. From the moment we walked in and were greeted, to helping with luggage, explaining the hotel facilities, and even assisting with luggage when we left – everyone was so warm and welcoming. After we arrived, the guesthouse owner spent over half an hour giving us a very detailed and useful introduction to local attractions. Taxis are also readily available right outside, and it's very close to several famous photo spots and attractions seen on the 20 Yuan note. Overall, the entire stay was excellent. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Yangshuo.

CcessiegurlwunderI specifically picked this hotel as I was attracted by the view from the room. The hotel room turns out to be at another building within 2-3 minutes walk from the main hotel. The staff took initiative to inform me in advance on where to navigate to prior to my arrival. Also as I had some Taobao deliveries sent in advance, they also made sure my delivery items were placed in my room for my convenience.
The room has an excellent view of the Shi Li Hua Lang and on my last night of stay (Friday), i even saw fireworks from a distance.
The complimentary breakfast of either western or Chinese style; also came with a small buffet selection. I personally preferred the Chinese style. They also provided one complimentary welcome fruits (with canned drinks in the fridge) as well as one complimentary afternoon tea (two beverage and two dessert) during my stay. The staff kindly sent the afternoon tea over to our room for us to enjoy. There were also other complimentary activities which we did not join as we primarily wanted to just enjoy time seeing the view from our room.
I love the room for its design and it was kept very clean and well maintained. The staff on premise were very friendly and my favorite part was the cats on the premise who enjoyed getting pets and treats from me. There was also a grand piano at my hotel lobby, and i got to play on it.
The hotel also tied up with Ethan Photography for a complimentary photoshoot with costumes and 3 free photos. We booked a session and decided to top up for make up services plus extra photos. I have to compliment the make up artist who was very efficient and has great make up skills. All my friends who saw my photos said I look good in them. All in all, it was a great photography experience as they went the extra mile to bring us to nice scenic spots around the hotel vicinity. The service staff was not pushy at all and took time to share what packages were available. My mum and I settled on a package that we felt was reasonable and we received all the beautifully edited digital photos on the next day morning.

GGuest UserMe and my wife stayed for 4 nights in this beautiful accomodation. The room was very tidy and has everything you need. We didn't use the bathtub but it is a nice feature. The beds are comfortable and the nights were quiet. It was not high season so I am not sure how it would be if all rooms were booked. Sometimes in the morning we heard some noise from the hallway but it did not bother us.
The Inn is located out of the city at the edge of a small town. I really liked it as you can go everywhere very easily with the e-scooters that you can rent with the Inn. Driving around Yangshuo was very convenient, with beautiful scenery everywhere.
We also enjoyed the breakfast a lot! They serve a nice light soup with Guilin rice noodles. Also there is more vegetables, dumplings and some cake you can choose from. We also had lunch and dinner multiple times which was all very delicious! Don't skip it! Also they have a nice frontyard where you can enjoy your meals or drinks from the bar.
Above all, the staff is incredibly kind and even though there is a language barrier, they put lots of effort in helping us. They helped us booking our activities and providing us with all the information to make sure we would enjoy our stay to the fullest. Xueying helped me practice some Chinese while I helped our with her English. She is extremely kind, so don't hesitate to come and book this accomodation as I am sure you'll have a great stay!

There are some complimentary activities, like practicing Baduanjin (Eight-Duan Brocade) with a teacher in the morning, and a 20-minute couple's Five-Element tea therapy session. The facilities, cleanliness, and environment are all excellent. In the evening, the Yao ethnic medicinal liquid packets (for herbal baths) are great for both foot soaks and full baths. The scenery here is beautiful, and the lotus pond is particularly lovely. Staying at this guesthouse truly relaxes both body and mind.

GGuest UserMy experience was wonderful and would recommend it without a doubt to anyone interested in visiting Yangshuo. The room and common areas were clean, tidy, comfortable and the staff was nice and helpful. They helped me and my friends book taxis and other events. The terrace view is undescribably beautiful, having never been in the region, I had never seen anything like it before.
The washing machine including detergent was an unexpected treasure which helped immensely. The only downside of my stay was that the view from my room was literally that of a brick wall armslength apart. Therefore it was a dark room with no outlook, but then again, I didn't come there to stay in my room, but to explore the beautiful city and surroundings of Yangshuo. I would still give 5 stars to my overall experience. The staff were even so kind as to contact me and my friends about a piece of clothing that someone left behind. Thank you to the staff for everything and wish you all the best.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location just a few hundred meters from the attractions is incredibly convenient. The staff were very enthusiastic, and even though we had a small hiccup, it was perfectly resolved. The hotel offers free parking and free breakfast. The only downside is that the decor is a bit dated, but the service and cleanliness are good, it's easy to get around, and it's great value for money. A special shout-out to the landlady, her service attitude was superb!

GGuest UserI am traveling with three elderly people in my family who are 200 years old in total. The hotel is located opposite Yuanbao Mountain and it is relatively convenient to drive. My family is quite satisfied with the room. It's clean and tidy, with floor-to-ceiling windows and a nice view. The three young girls I met at the front desk were very attentive in their service. The mung bean porridge in the evening and breakfast in the morning were more suitable for the elderly. recommend

GGuest UserThis hotel was the best one I stayed in China and it was also the cheapest one.
The room looked even better than on the pictures, it was very spacious with a large and comfortable bed, a couch and many amenities. The room was modern, clean and well-maintained. The location is perfect, literally in the middle of the busiest street with hundreds of shops, restaurants, bars, attractions, etc. within a 2-minute walk. Despite the central location, the room was quiet and I didn’t hear any noise from the busy street so I could get a good nights sleep.
The receptionists were also friendly, check-in was much faster than at other hotels and they even let me store my luggage there for free after I checked out. Overall highly recommended!
