A highly recommended homestay. The owner is very considerate and enthusiastic. They provide pick-up and drop-off services and also prepare Hanfu souvenirs and the like. When I entered Wenshe, I was immediately attracted by the backyard. It is quiet in a bustling environment. Both the elderly and children like it. I will come again next time I have the chance!

The room is very new and clean. The room and the yard are very well designed. There is also a very cute cat. The Nanhu Lake is just a few steps away from the B&B. It is also close to the main road, making it very convenient for travel. The owner is also very warm and thoughtful. He will pick us up at the B&B in a camper and help us carry our luggage. The floor heating is very comfortable.

The room was very clean and comfortable. I checked in and lay down. I was too tired to take any photos, but it was really comfortable. Maybe it was the off-season and there were few people, so it didn't feel noisy. There was heating in the room, which was very comfortable. In addition to the scenery, you can also feel the culture and customs of the people. The room was not expensive. I was healed here on the last day. For the B&B, we are just ordinary passers-by. For me, it made my trip a perfect ending.

The room is very clean, there are many green plants in the yard, they are well maintained, the air is very good, and the yard is decorated very attentively.

My bestie and I took the children out to play. At night, the children fell asleep, and we bought some wine and chatted in the yard. I haven't been so relaxed for a long time. It was a very happy experience.
Before I checked in, I contacted the store and asked how to enter the scenic area, how to get there from the high-speed rail station, and how to find the place after arriving. The service is good. When it rains, the store helps hold an umbrella and carry luggage. The room is just like the picture. The children sleep in the small attic. The room is big enough, the heating is very good, the toiletries and bedding are great, the small courtyard is decorated festively, in line with the characteristics of the Spring Festival, and it is very photogenic. But the toilet smells bad at night, and the whole room smells bad. I have to close the toilet door and keep the exhaust fan on to sleep. It should be repaired. There are welcome fruit plates and souvenirs, which are very thoughtful. It is also great to sit and drink afternoon tea on the top floor to see Nanhu Lake 👍🏻 and give children slippers and toothbrushes.

The trip from Huangshan has ended. If we want to give this trip a score, the full score is 💯. I would give it 90 points: 40 points are for the scenery and culture of Hongcun; 20 points are for the unique food of Huizhou. ; 30 points must be given to the B&B ”Thatched Cottage” where I stayed. I have never stayed in a B&B while traveling, and I particularly like this place! Thatched Cottage did it! In addition to enjoying free pick-up and drop-off, antique-style houses, considerate service, and free room upgrades, the ”thatched cottage” gives you the feeling of home and the warmth between people that a hotel cannot give, just like no matter where you are. No matter how late you play outside, your home will always leave a door open for you! The remaining 10 points are my own regrets, regrets that the vacation was too short, regrets that the time went too fast, and regrets that I couldn't take a photo with my ”family”! [呲呲][呲呲][呲呲] Although there are regrets, it is also satisfactory! Once the agreement is made, there will be no obstacles in the way. We will meet again someday!

The stay at Hongcun Zuoxian Art Hotel was remarkable. Received a call from the host (小李管家) while on the way to confirm my arrival time and needs. She even helped me arrange a driver to pick us up from the Huangshan North train station at a reasonable cost. Driver (李师傅) was friendly and gave us lots of tips while visiting Huangshan and we ended up using his services throughout the 3 days we were there.
When we arrived, 小李管家 was right at the hotel entrance waiting for my for us and checkin into our rooms was a breeze. Rooms were clean with all the amenities you will need for a comfortable stay. Most impressive was the hotel layout and design which was very artsy and minimalist for a place like Hongcun. It was simply amazing! Me and my family especially loved the lobby and the coziness especially in front of the fireplace during winter.
Hotel Location was within walking distance (200m) to Hongcun Ancient village and around 40mins drive to Huangshan mountain and around 1.5hrs drive to the Huangshan North Station or Tunxi Ancient Street.
Will definitely recommend this hotel to all our friends and relatives if they are planning to visit Huangshan one day!!!

I have been in Yi County for three days. This hotel is very distinctive, with a good view outside the window, the overall decoration is in Hui style, and there is an infinity pool and outdoor hot spring. I made an appointment for a travel photo shoot in the hotel (more expensive). I originally wanted to experience the hot spring and booked this hotel, but the chef said that the water in the bathtub in the room was the same as outside, so I soaked in the room.
The only flaw is the front desk brother of the restaurant. He made me wait for more than 20 minutes before he started to cook and serve me. Although it is not worth getting angry, it still affects the stay experience. The brother and sister at the front desk patiently answered my questions when I checked out and told me the brand of aromatherapy, which was considered to be a compensation.
The overall experience is very good, and the flaws do not cover the merits. If I come back to Hongcun, I will consider this hotel again.

I went to Hongcun, a place I had always wanted to visit. I looked at it on Ctrip for a long time and was attracted by the lobby environment of this hotel. When I first arrived, I was really amazed by the bamboo at the gate. The environment of the hotel is absolutely 100 points. The housekeeper upgraded me to a tatami room for free. The whole hotel atmosphere is very comfortable, so much so that I still miss it after two days at home. There is also a projector in the public area of the hotel where you can watch movies. It is really comfortable to curl up on the sofa. If I go to Hongcun again, I will definitely choose this hotel. It is really very attentive~ By the way, the scenery of breakfast is really good. It is winter now and the leaves have fallen. I can't imagine how beautiful it will be in autumn. If you tell the aunt what you want to eat, she will serve it immediately. I really like it. And as long as you go back to the B&B, the front desk lady will greet you and say you are back, just like going home

AAolizhizhimashuThe owner of the B&B is very nice. He can pick you up when you go to Hongcun. The restaurant of the B&B is delicious. I really like the stinky mandarin fish and the braised spareribs (stinky mandarin fish lovers will be delighted). There are also many people who come to eat there. The only thing is that the room is a little damp during the rainy season. The air conditioning and floor heating are very powerful. The supporting toiletries are very complete. After checking out, there are also gifts. You can see that they are run with care. Overall, it is good and I will recommend it to my friends.

GGuest UserHongcun Yushan mountain scenery house is convenienly located near the South Gate of Hongcun Scenic area. We booked courtyard B which is located outside and behind the main hotel complex with breakfast included. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable, and had a small courtyard, but unfortunately no garden chairs or table to sit outside. In hindsight we woud book another room in the main complex next time. It has a lovely open garden and plenty of outdoor seating. I contacted the hotel before our stay and managed by using a voice translator to connect with the staff on Wechat. A friendly staff member met us at the entrance to the scenic area and entry is free of charge when you stay at the hotel. The hotel staff don't speak any English, but they were very helpful and friendly and we got along fine using Wechat and other translators. I won't recommend eating dinner at the hotel as there are many local Chinese restaurants in the ancient village. The hotel offers a coffee shop in the lobby and has a number of options, like Americano, Latte etc. The coffee is very good, but I felt it was a bit pricey for the cup size. The hotel breakfast is Chinese with no Western options, and it is served in unique way in a tray. I enjoyed the breakfast, but my husband would have liked more western options. On our arrival the room was already pre-heated and the beds in the room were comfortable. It was snowing lightly when we arrived and there were umbrellas available in the room. They also provide vanity items. We visited just before the Chinese New Year tourist rush at the beginning of the holiday and this was a very good location and time to visit despite the cold weather. The ancient village was not too crowded and it was nice to walk around in the evenings and daytime with the hotel is situated conveniently right next to the South lake. Drone flying is allowed which can give drone flyers an aerial view of the village. Depending on your iterinary a one night stay is sufficient to visit Hongcun and the nearby Xidi ancient village then move on to another hotel at the foot or top of the mountain or Tunxi village. We enjoyed our stay and can recommend this hotel to travelers wanting a good hotel experience in Hongcun.

SSuThis was a trip that I took my 86 years old mom to travel with me. After a long bullet train ride and shuttle ride, Banyan Tree Huangshan gave us a warm welcome by upgrading our room to a villa. The place is beautifully designed, nested in a valley with traditional Hui style building. Inside the rooms, they have the western style bedroom and bathroom comforts, but the deco is traditional Chinese arts with a modern twist, very elegant, not the tacky hotel chain style but details that fits the surrounding nature beauty. All the rooms and facilities are very clean, and service people are very nice too. We had the front desk clerk Sweet, who updated our stay and a room cleaning lady May Zhang who helped us with our needs. Very thankful to their help!
The outside garden design blends in with the surrounding mountains. They even have a petting zoo for visitors young and old.
We dined in their Chinese restaurant the first night. The foods were good but I won't say exceptional. For two of us, it was way too much in food quantity for one order. We felt bad to waste food this way. Wish they have had smaller choices. But their breakfast is very impressive.
And even though they are very close to Hong Village where the shuttle stops, they did not offer free shuttle which I think they should.
I highly recommend this place and will travel back with my other family members in the future.

我们天刚黑时到达， 很快感受到温暖贴心的服务。前台给我们免费升级房间， 让我们渡过了愉悦的两天。
早上在庭院里跑步是个美好的体验， 健身房也比一般希尔顿或是万豪好很多。
我们第一晚在饭店的中餐厅吃的，不错但没有特别让人印象深刻。早餐则不同， 选择非常多且很多精致可口的饭菜。
尽管他们离宏村很近但不提供免费接送，这样你从机场或是高铁站坐接送车到此，还需要打车或是付比打车高很多的车费到达悦榕庄。我个人认为这完全可以改进。
我非常推荐黄山悦榕庄，以后还会带其他家人来住。谢谢你们周到的服务！

XXuelangyiAs an authentic Huizhou native who left home when I was young, I came to Hongcun and met Zhang Gongguan for the first time, but I was amazed by the whole ink painting Qingming. After walking through the streets and alleys, I finally found the low-key house number. I opened a small door and opened a paradise. The antique Ming and Qing Dynasty old houses, restored in the Hui-style style, and simple and elegant furniture make people feel like they have traveled through time and space and returned to the prosperous ancient Huizhou of the past. In the front hall and back yard, the centuries-old mottled walls are paired with the black and white colors of Qingming rain, but it also has a sense of vicissitudes like ”in the old days, when kings went to the hall and swallows flew into the homes of ordinary people”, it was as if they were in a Chinese ink painting. This is an old house with a history of 300 years. It is located in the core scenic area of Hongcun. It only takes 3 minutes to walk to Moon Marsh. There are many types of guest rooms with different styles. Almost all of them feature Chinese retro style. The carved wooden beds, wooden couches and dressing tables are all antique designs. The calligraphy, paintings and porcelain in the room highlight the famous Hui school. The door is an antique wooden door latch. key. The facilities in the bathroom are absolutely high-end. Dyson hair dryers and Hermès bath products are both rich in history and considerate. The owner lives with his guests and has four cats, several courtyards, and a beautiful swimming pool. The guests can drink tea and relax while leaning on the garden view. The butler's service was extremely attentive. He asked about the soundproofing at night, prepared a heart-warming breakfast in the morning, took our luggage all the way from the parking lot to the CI, dragged our luggage up the narrow stairs of the old house, and used a small electric donkey to carry our luggage again before we left. Return to the parking lot. I want to say here that the wooden stairs in the old Hui-style houses are narrow and shaky, and the sound insulation between the rooms is not very good. If you come to immerse yourself in the old house life, don’t complain and pay more attention to yourself. In short, this place really made my impression of Hongcun become more beautiful and full of nostalgia. The old houses of Huizhou Prefecture salt merchants and silk satin merchants are hidden among tallow trees and rice fields. During the period, it tells the past events of Huizhou merchants. The ancient village is a bit sad and beautiful, a bit smart but not lacking in vitality. The vitality truly comes from Tachuan Academy built by a few young people. GGuest UserThe Pig’s Inn is a very cozy place that makes you feel like home. Bishan village is far away from the city so I asked the hotel for help with taxi arrangement. Manager Fang Xin (方鑫) gave me the contact to the driver who was always on time and gave me lots of tips about hiking up mount Huang. The room in the hotel was really clean and warm regardless of the very cold weather outside. The hotel staff is super nice, they waited for us with dinner till really late. As my family is really picky when it comes to food Pig’s Inn was a perfect place to eat dinner and breakfast as they made all the dishes according to the needs of my family. In the evening there was a huge spider in our room (came there suddenly), the nice woman form the hotel helped us to remove it from the room. Everything was perfect and our trip was really nice thanks to the Pig’s Inn ☺️

CChi Kwan BrainThe hotel is a brand new one. Once arrived, the hotel reception staff served with a warm smile and generously grant us free breakfast for 2 mornings. Hotel renovation looks well and the room facilities are all modern and high tech. I was particularly impressed with its WCPan which has an auto washing services for buttock. The bed linen and flooring are clean well. Environment nearby is beautiful village scene where we enjoy having a lesuire walk there. All in all, it is a very good hotel which can make you relax even you just stay in the hotel. Ha one more that is the restaurant next to the hotel where one may enjoy delicious Chinese meals. The staff there are also very nice. Eating there is just like having meals at home. I am sure I will stay in Vienna again when next time I go to huangshan.

KKevfoong SGThe homestead is located inside the acenic area of Hongchun. It is very convenient to all the attractions and restaurants. You csn have a nice stroll after dinner.
The hostel is very 'Zen Style' if you choose for the 2nd hostel called 'Xindeng 心灯'. The room is huge and clean. There also offer nice chinese teas for enjoyment.
The homestead owner is also very helpful in arranging the transport for ferrying to the hostel and to another destination. However, it is much easier to communicate with the operator via Wechat which is local apps. Use Wechat to call for the transport arrangement for any purpose.
The only minor issue is the early distutbed noise of motors and residents will wake you up in the early morning of 6am. The homestead is just next to one of the main lane.

LLily MorrisaThis location was perfect and right in the scenic area of hongcun. It’s a little difficult to find at first but once you find it it’s easy to come back to if you put it in the maps app. The town is so cute and we were welcomed with little Hand-made bookmarks which was so sweet and a wonderful surprise. The one thing that was off putting and probably a one off is it seemed that there was a large family staying in the Homestay and in the middle of the night there was screaming and doors slamming on and off throughout the night. I’m not sure if this is a regular thing or just happened to be a one night thing but it was a bit frightening. Other than that the location was very quiet when we got there and the owner was very helpful with any questions we had throughout our stay.
