The location is excellent, right at the south entrance of the scenic area, next to Nanhu Lake. The courtyard is elegantly decorated and perfect for photos. We stayed in a house that's over 300 years old – it was quiet and comfortable. The housekeeper was very warm and attentive, and the black tea was delicious. We also bought a beautiful fish lantern at the guesthouse and carried it during the 7 PM fish lantern parade that starts from Huaqiao Bridge. Along the way, many people asked where we got it. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay!

Located beside the South Entrance to the village and facing the water-body (see photo of hotel with red banners). Unlike most hotels within the village, this hotel has conserved the architecture of the exterior and interior of the over 300 years old structure. It is well maintained with modern amenities and a nice manicured garden filled with bonsai plants. The Chinese breakfast was simple and nice. The menu has a good range of beverages and the food was good at reasonable prices. The room we stayed was small but cozy. It is within the main building and just outside the room there is a reading lounge. It was quiet and hardly used while we were there. 这不单是很特色的建筑楼房，我们仿佛回到了历史上了！ 小红和小桃为我们的服务特佳，给了我们很温的感觉！

This guesthouse, converted from a family's old house, is conveniently located right by Nanhu Lake, making it easy to access the scenic area. Stepping inside reveals a charming and elegant courtyard, and the rooms retain the unique structure of traditional Huizhou houses, which my family loved. Each of the housekeepers was incredibly helpful and patiently answered any questions we had – fantastic!

A very good stay. The hotel is very close to the South Gate parking lot, and the staff were warm and attentive. The osmanthus and jasmine black tea they provided were delicious. It was a very nice guesthouse experience. Since I wasn't sure about the room types, I didn't book the main courtyard. Although the second courtyard was also nice, the main courtyard's Hui-style architecture had more charm, and the owner's attention to detail was evident in every design element. I booked this place on the way from Hefei to Hongcun. The staff were very welcoming and picked us up from the South Gate parking lot; it was only a minute's drive to the guesthouse. This place has a private courtyard where you can drink tea or coffee. I ordered osmanthus black tea – it was so delicious! We stayed in Courtyard No. 2, which was very independent and quiet. The cleanliness was excellent, and the toiletries were L'Occitane, the same as in the main courtyard. The staff were all very attentive and friendly! Highly recommended!
