We viewed the room in the evening before booking, and the next day, the owner provided a free local guide, explaining the history, culture, and architecture very clearly. He also recommended the "private kitchen in the narrow alley," which was excellent. It can be difficult to find good food in tourist areas, so this is a good option to avoid disappointment. Overall, a great experience, so a five-star review is a must!"

"This is a great place to stay! It's a 300-year-old establishment, so you're literally living in a genuine ancient building. Located in Lucun, it's quieter and less crowded than Hongcun, offering a more peaceful experience. The Lucun Observation Deck is nearby, where you can catch the morning mist, sunrise, and panoramic views of the entire village. The owners are a family who moved here after retiring from their jobs. The grandparents are very caring, and the homemade dishes they prepare are hearty and comforting, truly warming both heart and stomach. Definitely worth a visit!"

"I visited Xidi on New Year's Day and stayed in a tofu house room with a small courtyard for one night. The environment is perfect. The design of this hotel is the most integrated into the ancient village among all the hotels in Xidi. Once I pushed open the wooden door and entered the small courtyard, and the tourists behind me thought they were visiting the ancient residence and followed me in. The house is mainly built of wood and rammed earth, and is organically combined with modern facilities such as electric curtains and smart toilets. The design of the room, the coffee shop for afternoon tea, and the small bar for breakfast are absolutely online. The parking lot leads directly to the room about 100 meters away, and the room is located on a quiet branch line in the village. The only regret is that the smell of wood in the house is a bit irritating to friends with bad throats under the air conditioning. In short, it is an experience that exceeds expectations. If I have the opportunity to pass by Huangshan again, I will stay alone for one night to try other room types."
