This guesthouse in Hongcun Scenic Area is absolutely wonderful! It has a simple yet elegant courtyard with a strong scholarly ambiance. The owner is incredibly friendly and kind, offering luggage pick-up and drop-off services throughout our stay. They also thoughtfully arranged for us to dine at excellent nearby restaurants for lunch and dinner. Upon checking in, we immediately headed to Wanxing Tower near the guesthouse for stinky mandarin fish and rice with vegetables, which, unfortunately, were quite bland. However, the design of Nanhu Guanyuan itself is very refined and tasteful, and the breakfast spread offers a great variety, perfect for a heartwarming and satisfying start to the day. The guesthouse is exceptionally close to the Nanhu and Yuezao attractions, making it easy to take leisurely strolls in the morning or evening and soak in the beautiful, misty江南 (Jiangnan) scenery. My trip to Hongcun in Anhui was truly delightful, and staying at Nanhu Guanyuan made it even more enjoyable. Plus, the scenic area's parking lot charges a maximum of only twenty yuan for both day and night, which is incredibly good value.

The room matched the pictures perfectly, a great size for families of three or four. The owner's shuttle service was prompt and the guesthouse environment was lovely. A special thanks to the owner for retrieving my child's lost smartwatch from the restaurant – they even rode an electric scooter to get it back for us! 🙏 Hongcun itself is quite commercialized now. Activities like making fish lanterns, sugar figures, tie-dyeing, and bamboo carving offer a good experience for kids, but a one-day stay is generally sufficient. The fish lantern performance isn't on the same level as what you'd see in Chengkan, but the quiet morning in Hongcun is truly beautiful.

Although centrally located in Yuetang, this hotel offers a quiet and unique retreat. The decor is lovely, the rooms are very comfortable, and the cleanliness is excellent. Plus, it's very reasonably priced. There are various restaurants nearby, making dining very convenient, and the Wang Family Ancestral Hall is right across the street. The owner is incredibly honest and enthusiastic, even helping with luggage. For anyone visiting Hongcun, staying here is a fantastic choice!

Hongcun Wenshe exceeded all my expectations! Its prime location within the scenic area made exploring incredibly convenient. The hotel boasts a large, beautiful garden courtyard, offering an elegant and secluded atmosphere where every step reveals a new charm. The rooms were spotless and well-equipped. The staff were warm, attentive, and provided meticulous service. Being able to stay inside the scenic area meant no hassle of re-entering, allowing us to enjoy the beauty of Hongcun in the peaceful mornings and evenings, away from the crowds. It's perfect for a relaxing, slow-paced vacation! A special shout-out to the shuttle driver – he worked tirelessly, always available for pickups and drops whenever we needed. Highly recommend!

Opted for this large Huizhou-style guesthouse in Hongcun, and it was a great choice. Its location is super convenient, right near the South Gate of Hongcun. As soon as I arrived, someone from the hotel came out to help with my luggage, which was fantastic service. They also helped me get oriented by explaining the hotel's location on a map of Hongcun and pointed out must-see spots. They didn't leave until I was completely settled in. Following their recommendation, I immediately went to see the evening Fish Lantern show and the enchanting Moon Pond scenery.

Tachuan's autumn was made even more beautiful by this guesthouse. I searched on Ctrip for a long time, worried about hygiene issues, but this guesthouse really paid attention to details and was very clean. The moment I opened the door, the automatic welcoming ceremony from 'Xiao Ai' (smart speaker) was very touching. It's right at the entrance of Hongcun and the price is excellent value for money. The proprietress is very kind, and the young man who checked me in, Manager Xiao Wang, was extremely helpful with excellent service. From picking me up at the station to helping me find a car for my travels, he saved me the anxiety and exhaustion of not having a car in Hongcun. The prices were also reasonable. Anyone worried about drivers getting upset in Hongcun can completely entrust their needs to him. At the village entrance, he even used a small electric cart to help with my luggage. There are Hello e-bikes nearby, so you can go to Lucun early in the morning to watch the sunrise. Thank you for providing such a 'utopia' after my busy work. The hygiene was indeed top-notch!

I booked the Hongcun Wanxinglou·Nanhupan Garden Homestay online. It's conveniently located right by the South Lake, near Hongcun's South Gate, making it easy to visit all the core attractions. The room was spacious and tidy, with a separate wet and dry bathroom that had no strange odors. They provided disposable toilet seat covers and decent quality toilet paper, as well as a full set of disposable amenities. The entire homestay has a charming rustic, antique vibe, and the room was very quiet. I was quite satisfied! Due to bad weather forecast for Huangshan the next two days, I canceled my subsequent plans and immediately extended my stay here for another night offline to enjoy a deeper exploration of Hongcun, hehe! The food here is also quite good, and both the owner and staff are very warm and enthusiastic. Recommended!

The host is incredibly warm and helpful! Picked us up from the entrance and helped us carried the heavy luggages into the hotel! Both the host and his mom are very warm and treated us like family! The hotel is quiet yet near to all the major attractions! Making it a good escape from all the tourist crowd and a place to relax after hiking in huangshan! My whole family thoroughly enjoyed our time at Buji and would recommend anyone visiting hongcun to stay here!

Facilities: The amenities are complete, and toiletries, including bath towels and regular towels, are all disposable, which is a big plus. Hygiene: I always bring my own disposable bed sheets and duvet covers when I travel, but for a B&B at this price point, especially within a scenic area, it was a pleasant surprise. The hygiene was excellent. Environment: Both inside and outside the room were very satisfactory, just as shown in the pictures. Service: This was the most important aspect, and the service was outstanding. We entered and exited the scenic area three times in one day, and the owner patiently drove us back and forth every time. After adding the owner on WeChat, they also provided travel tips, and any requests or needs were promptly addressed. Super five-star rating! Also, it felt like there weren't many dining options in Hongcun. We ate dinner at the B&B on our first night, and the stir-fried dishes were perfectly to our taste – delicious, and we cleaned our plates.

This guesthouse was a really pleasant surprise! The room was clean and bright, with a fantastic modern design. The bedding was super soft and comfy. The owners were incredibly welcoming and friendly. It's also really close to Nanhu Lake and Yuezhao. Our room even had its own private terrace, which was so relaxing. And the potted plants in the courtyard were beautifully maintained. The real highlight was the stunning view from the fourth-floor communal terrace after the rain. Overlooking the white walls and black tiles of Hongcun village against the distant mountains, it was like a living ink painting. The fresh green hues of spring were also incredibly soothing. Hongcun truly has a unique beauty after it rains!
