The homestay is in the Hongcun Scenic Area. The location is very good. It is a commercial street when you go out. It is also very close to the Moon Marsh. The boss will come to the parking lot to pick up luggage and send a map of Hongcun. It is recommended to eat, very nice!

## Environment: The B&B is located near Shuiliangtou in Hongcun, about a 7-8 minute walk from Yueyao and 10 minutes from Nanhu. The guesthouse itself is an old house, minimally decorated, giving it a restrained, rustic, and natural feel. There's a large courtyard with many big trees and plants, and a relaxed black cat, the little host. The courtyard also features an ancient pavilion and a small fish pond. It's very pleasant to sit in the courtyard, admiring the trees, flowers, and fish. The rooms are simply furnished, with no luxurious or out-of-place decorations, fitting the overall character of the old house. ## Service: Walking to the scenic area entrance from the B&B takes about 5 minutes, but the stone path isn't very convenient. The auntie who runs the B&B arranged a car to pick us up at the back entrance of Hongcun, and she drove an electric cart to meet us. ## Facilities: Since it's a renovated old house, there are no stairs. The auntie kindly helped me carry my luggage up and down, which was a great help. ## Service (continued): Excellent! I didn't stay long and was out exploring the village during the day, so I didn't interact much with the auntie and the owner. However, the limited interactions I did have made it clear they are very kind and warm-hearted people. On my last day, my express delivery couldn't arrive at the B&B before I left due to the May Day holiday, so they even helped me contact the Hongcun courier to have my package delivered to the village entrance for me to pick up. I'm very grateful.

Want to capture the 'blue hour' of Yueyao (Moon Pool) without an early start? I recommend staying here. It's just a one-minute walk around the corner. I went out at 5:30 AM, and Yueyao was completely empty. The 'blue hour' with calm water is fleeting, and most people who hurried over from a distance missed it. There's also a three-story rooftop terrace at Courtyard No. 2 next door, where you can get a good shot of the rooftops.

The B&B has all the supporting facilities, including dry and wet bathrooms, smart toilets, small refrigerators, projectors, and bathtubs. -

The interiors are full of charm, history, and character, and staying here allows you to experience the village in a much deeper way than a simple day visit. The atmosphere is calm, evocative, and almost cinematic. A very sweet detail: the property’s cat and dog are genuinely lovely and add an even warmer, more memorable touch to the experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic, romantic, and timeless stay.

The second time I came to Hongcun, this time I chose to live on the other side of the moon marsh. The location is very good. It takes only three or four minutes to walk to the moon marsh and South Lake, but the rest is very quiet at night. The inn is very elegant, with a small exquisite yard, and an honest three flower cat. The boss and the proprietress are very enthusiastic, and there is a battery car to and from Hongcun.

Inadvertently picked up the room that was missed, the proprietress was very enthusiastic, the small courtyard was remodeled, the room was not big, but there was a feeling of Huizhou architecture, antique, especially the corridor on the second floor, more feeling. The inn is very close to the moon marsh. It is recommended that the proprietress change to a soft mattress.

The hotel is in the Hongcun Scenic Area. It takes five or six minutes to walk from the west gate. The first floor is a travel shoot, and the second floor is accommodation. The Huizhou decoration style is quite special. It is very convenient to go to Yuezhao Nanhu. It is definitely a long time in the year, the facilities are a bit old, but it does not affect the accommodation, it is very quiet at night, sleep until you wake up naturally, very comfortable.

The service was quite good. During the continuous rain, they did their own laundry, so they obviously couldn't guarantee changing the clothes for every guest; it was damp. The steps to the second floor of the room were very high and difficult to climb. The scenic area itself wasn't worth the 100 yuan entrance fee; you can enter and exit within three days. There are many chain hotels outside that I don't think are much more expensive than those inside the scenic area.

The room was generally nice, a Ming and Qing dynasty courtyard. I chose it because of reviews saying it was quieter in the back alley. The first night was fine; however, on the second night, after the Spring Festival Gala ended and I was about to go to sleep, the air conditioner unit upstairs started buzzing like a generator, keeping me awake until dawn. I was almost at my breaking point. I felt helpless in the middle of the night and couldn't bring myself to knock on the door to ask them to turn off the air conditioner. It was the first time I'd ever experienced such a loud noise from an air conditioner unit. Later, it was two units blasting at me at once. I've attached a video so you can see for yourself ੧😭੧ I told the landlord, but it was useless. I didn't hear from them again until I checked out.
