"Highly recommend Qingmei Academy! The environment and scenery are absolutely stunning. The Hui-style architecture is antique and elegant, the courtyard is refined, and every view is beautiful. Every snapshot is a masterpiece, the atmosphere is simply breathtaking.
The rooms were exceptionally clean and tidy, meticulously maintained, and the facilities were complete and well-maintained, making for a very comfortable and peaceful stay.
The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, providing attentive and thoughtful service. They responded promptly to any needs, making for a perfect experience from start to finish. Beautiful scenery, well-maintained rooms, and excellent service—definitely worth coming back to!"

"Our trip to Hongcun was surprisingly pleasantly surprised by our unexpected choice of the Weizhe Mountain B&B. The B&B's location was superb, avoiding the hustle and bustle of the main street while being just a few minutes' walk from South Lake – truly a tranquil oasis amidst the city's hustle and bustle. Our room had a window with views of classic Hui-style horse-head walls and distant mountain scenery. The owner and the housekeeper were incredibly attentive, contacting us in advance to pick us up from the bus station and providing us with maps and detailed travel guides. We truly felt at home and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hongcun!"

"I came to Xidi in the morning, and I could stay in the morning and Man·Art light luxury romantic Tingyun Meisu. Banniang Yang sister directly opened the ”pampered guest mode” 🏡 to pick us up in the hot sun, turn on the air conditioner in advance, stuffed delicious Huangshan biscuits, and even washed and dried the dirty clothes we had been drying for a few days! Who knows, this is simply a mother-level care 😭 Her Teddy chocolate is also smart and cute, and everyone loves it. At noon, the eldest sister led us to dry rice (the restaurant she chose was super authentic!), let us take a lunch break after the meal. After the lunch break, we fished and played cards in the cafe next to the hotel. The well-behaved and sticky puppets were fat. It was cool at five o'clock. Sister Yang took us out again. She personally served as a tour guide! The brick-carved door of those century-old houses came to life in her story. At night, the eldest sister even made an appointment for us for the lantern cruise. When her son ran on the bluestone road with a lantern, he suddenly felt: the most precious trip is these unexpected gentleness."

When you come to Hongcun to travel, you must not miss this homestay hidden in the corner. This time you bring a family out to play. You must praise this homestay. The accommodation is clean and the address is good. It is straightforward. On the periphery of the village, the main aunt cooks really delicious food. I learned that they are all small pots fried especially with pot atmosphere, the color and fragrance are very good. [Party R] [Party R] Parents praised me. The first thing to climb Huangshan to the inn is to show the rice. The taste is really invincible...
The proprietress is super good, and the in-laws are more hospitable... Come back next time"

OOzoubeiThe room looks exactly like the pictures and is located on the second floor. During the day, you can hear people outside from one side, but it's very quiet at night. Overall, everything was great, and the service was excellent, with a shuttle provided. There are three beautiful cats in the courtyard. We had breakfast in the courtyard the next day, and the food was delicious. I checked out both the front and back entrances, and it's conveniently located close to everything.

GGuest UserTraveling with 2 of my friends on a fun girls trip! This was such an amazing location. We went from a sad and boring hotel in Beijing to this fantastic location and suddenly the whole trip was more fun and much more interesting. The host met us at the entrance to Hongcun and carried our luggage in the back of his little vehicle as we followed him around quaint buildings and through a narrow cobblestone walkway which was perfect for walking and pretty impressive to drive thru without scratching anything. After the beautiful walk we came through the most beautiful circle archway and into the cutest courtyard. We rented the room with a queen bed downstairs and 2 full beds up in the loft. The rooms were so cute we had to hide our luggage to do a full video tour to show our families before unpacking. The beds have mattress toppers which helped soften up the beds for us Americans. The host was very helpful and I would suggest getting WeChat to translate if you don’t speak Chinese. I don’t but it was easy to communicate. I would definitely stay at here again. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThis guesthouse in Hongcun is a converted 300-year-old building. The courtyard is charmingly antique, blending the elegance of Jiangnan gardens with the cultural heritage of ancient Huizhou. Every corner is meticulously designed and maintained.
The guesthouse boasts a prime location, just a short walk from the south gate, making it incredibly convenient. Although situated within Hongcun, it offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle; at night, the only sounds are the chirping of frogs and insects.
The rooms are spacious, bright, spotless, and equipped with modern amenities for comfort and convenience. The housekeepers are also incredibly attentive and helpful, assisting with luggage at the entrance, taking photos, and readily fulfilling any requests.
This guesthouse truly represents a perfect blend of historical culture and modern comfort, exceeding expectations. Highly recommended!
By the way, their osmanthus black tea is also delicious! 👍

When delivering, he also gave you a souvenir handmade in the store. The children and elders all enjoyed their stay. We could see the starry sky in our room at night. The children were very surprised and kept asking if they could continue to stay here tomorrow? ! The room is consistent with the picture of the reservation. The special mountain spring water and welcome dinner in the store are very considerate. The breakfast is also 10 kinds of which are very balanced and rich. The welcome dog Wangzai is very cute. He greets and sees off guests, and the overall impression is wonderful. Very good impression. I will stay here again next time I come to Hongcun.

GGuest UserBefore coming to Hongcun, I didn't have high expectations, thinking it would just be another old village to visit and leave. However, my stay at 'Hongcun Yike Homestay' made me feel that every detail of this trip radiated warmth.
Upon arriving at Hongcun bus station, I was unfamiliar with the area and was stressing about how to drag my luggage across the stone-paved paths to the homestay while looking at a map. The moment I called, the owner's enthusiastic voice immediately put me at ease: 'Wait there, I'll be right over to pick you up!' In less than ten minutes, the owner appeared on an electric scooter, swiftly tied my luggage to the vehicle, and cheerfully motioned for me to hop on. We weaved through Hongcun's winding alleys and past bustling crowds of tourists. The homestay was tucked away in a quiet lane near Moon Pond, an excellent location. You could see Moon Pond just around the corner, yet it was peaceful and quiet – truly an oasis of calm amidst the hustle and bustle.
Stepping into the courtyard, I was captivated by this homestay, a renovated Huizhou-style building. The exquisitely carved porch, wooden corridors, and rustic private courtyard exuded the unique elegance and serenity characteristic of Huizhou homes. Inside the room, it was bright and clean. The antique-style wooden bed paired with a soft mattress offered both classic charm and comfort. The night was exceptionally quiet, and I slept soundly. Early the next morning, I opened the window to a beautiful view of the Huizhou-style horse-head walls in the morning light, distant mountains draped in lush greenery, and the nearby sounds of birdsong and fragrant flowers. It truly felt like living inside a traditional Chinese ink wash painting.
On the day of my departure, the owner drove me to the bus station as usual, reminding me of other places I hadn't visited in Hongcun along the way. Before saying goodbye, the owner pulled out a packet of chrysanthemum tea from the trunk, handed it to me, and smiled, saying, 'This is our local chrysanthemum tea, take it home and try it.' Holding that packet of tea, my heart felt warm. Staying here truly felt like returning to an old friend's home in Huizhou, thoughtful and considerate in every way.
'Yike Homestay' truly lives up to its name – making one feel 'at ease' (逸) and so content that guests (客) forget to leave. Next time I'm in Hongcun, I'll definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserIt's really hard not to love living spaces like this, especially the tatami standard room we booked. It perfectly aligns with the aesthetics and needs of today's young people. Once you're in, you just don't want to leave – it's so comfortable it's intoxicating!
There's no complicated or superfluous design; the entire tatami room is warm and healing. Whether you're snuggling on the soft cushions or lying flat, it's incredibly relaxing. For us young people, the happiest thing in our free time is comfortably lying on the tatami playing with our phones. No need to adjust to the sofa's angle, no need to worry about posture – just be as lazy as you like. Your whole body is in its most relaxed state, and a day's fatigue instantly disappears. This kind of spontaneous joy is truly amazing!
Not only is the living experience top-notch, but the smart features in the room truly impressed me. The voice-controlled design throughout is incredibly convenient, completely freeing your hands. No need to get up to turn lights on/off, open/close curtains, or adjust devices – a simple word does it all. It’s full of technology yet convenient, providing a truly futuristic living experience. The happiness brought by smart living is maximized. Even the fully smart toilet in the bathroom far exceeded expectations, with thoughtful functional design and a comfortable user experience. The attention to detail elevates the sense of quality, making every use exceptionally pleasant.
The most delightful surprise is the rooftop infinity pool and the stunning terrace! Standing on the top floor, the view immediately opens up. The infinity pool combined with the beautiful scenery outside the window makes every photo a masterpiece of ambiance. Whether it's day or evening, it offers a different kind of romance. And the rooftop terrace is a hidden gem for relaxation. Lie back in a rocking chair, gently swaying with your eyes closed. The breeze brushes by, the crisp chirping of birds fills your ears, the faint scent of flowers lingers, and the surrounding greenery and beautiful scenery are all within sight. You don't have to travel far to immerse yourself in the beauty of nature – it's tranquil and therapeutic.
Such a living space perfectly meets all the expectations young people have for comfort, convenience, and beauty. You can enjoy the lazy freedom of being at home while also experiencing the healing beauty of nature. Every moment spent here feels incredibly happy~

LLixiubaichaThis guesthouse is absolutely, incredibly, amazingly wonderful!!!! First, I have to praise the owner. He's such a great guy. He called us beforehand to ask when we'd arrive, then picked us up in his 'sanbengzi' (a three-wheeled vehicle – extra experience points!). He helped us with our luggage. The next day, I wasn't feeling well and just wanted to extend for two hours to rest, but the owner immediately told us not to worry and just to stay as long as we needed. When we left, his aunt helped with our bags, and he arranged a car for us. We were in such a rush that I dropped something, and he even mailed it back to me… In short, the service was exceptional!! ❤️ Next time, I hope to bring my family and stay for a few more days.
The environment is also incredibly good! The courtyard is uniquely designed, like a mini classical garden, full of ancient charm. The room was very clean, and there's even a meditation area. I tried to imitate Liu Yifei's meditation pose, and I felt refreshed afterward, haha~
Hongcun is truly beautiful, and the people here are so warm and friendly. It's a shame we were short on time, but I look forward to coming back again!

Hotel manager was very communicative, but you need to have WeChat. They can communicate in English by message with you.
The rooms were stunning, service was excellent and the communal areas were beautiful and comfortable.
Hotel breakfast was freshly made and they were able to accommodate our requests.
Some of the rooms require ascending steep stairs, so if you have accessibility needs it would be best to inform the hotel in advance. Bedrooms are comfortable and cosy. The addition of the tea ceremony area is brilliant. The mattresses and bedding were clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were clean with good pressure hot water.
The hotel also put us in touch with a honest and reliable driver that we used for transfers from the bullet train station as well as a trip to Huang Shan (yellow mountain).

This meant our stay was quiet for restful night, while we could still get to enjoy the spots in peace before day trip tourists flock in.:) Host provided free buggy shuttle from the main South gate to his homestay.
As it was off peak season, we had free room upgrade & I got a large triple sharing room with spacious bathroom. Love that the floor is heated so we could stay warm throughout. The only grouse is I find the room lighting a bit too dim, but maybe they just wanted to evoke romantic ambience. 😁
Overall, it was a great stay in this ancient village.

XXiaomiaomaThe service attitude is very good. The guy at the hotel front desk will call in advance to pick us up from the parking lot. He will take our luggage with us to the entrance of the ancient village on an electric bicycle. The room is on the first floor. It is very clean and spacious. There is a swing in the yard, which makes it feel very cozy. You also get snacks and free mineral water when you check in. The location is particularly good. After walking a few dozen meters, we arrived at the big banyan tree at the entrance of the village. It was a quiet place amidst the hustle and bustle. There were also some B&Bs around, but when I passed by, I felt that the yard of this one was the most beautiful.
