Service: The hotel staff are friendly and welcoming, always greeting guests with a smile and patiently resolving any issues. Breakfast is quite generous, and in the evenings, they even provide complimentary chilled mung bean soup and Bingfen (a local dessert) when you return to your room. Environment: The hotel is nestled amidst ancient architecture and traditional gardens. Staying here allows you to truly appreciate the distinctive black tiles, white walls, and blue bricks of Huizhou's ancient buildings. I only wish I could have stayed for a few more days!

The location of this beautiful traditional house is perfect, just opposite the gorgeous rural area of the town and a few minutes from the main square . The house is lovely and the room was cosy with great charm, rafters and beams. The bed was very comfortable and i had a very good sleep as it is also very quiet. The room is suitable for 1 pperson as there is only a curtain between the bedroom area and bathroom area The owners contacted me as soon as i booked and picked me up from the entrance gate so I had a,seamless journey

Tachuan's autumn was made even more beautiful by this guesthouse. I searched on Ctrip for a long time, worried about hygiene issues, but this guesthouse really paid attention to details and was very clean. The moment I opened the door, the automatic welcoming ceremony from 'Xiao Ai' (smart speaker) was very touching. It's right at the entrance of Hongcun and the price is excellent value for money. The proprietress is very kind, and the young man who checked me in, Manager Xiao Wang, was extremely helpful with excellent service. From picking me up at the station to helping me find a car for my travels, he saved me the anxiety and exhaustion of not having a car in Hongcun. The prices were also reasonable. Anyone worried about drivers getting upset in Hongcun can completely entrust their needs to him. At the village entrance, he even used a small electric cart to help with my luggage. There are Hello e-bikes nearby, so you can go to Lucun early in the morning to watch the sunrise. Thank you for providing such a 'utopia' after my busy work. The hygiene was indeed top-notch!

They include a communal washing machine, dryer, and exercise equipment. The hallways and restrooms are all scented with diffusers. The guesthouse's decor is incredibly tasteful, offering a picturesque view at every turn. 🌽 Food: Since I was too lazy to venture out, I ate all my meals directly at the guesthouse's rooftop restaurant. Ordering was easy, and the food was delicious. The rooftop also has an open-air section with fantastic views. 🤵🏻♀️ Service: The guesthouse staff (the young ladies) were all very friendly and patient. They proactively offered services like car charters and travel tips, and any issues I had were promptly resolved.

The courtyard has a great design, perfect for taking photos and checking in. However, the downside is that during the day, many tourists pass by and even enter the courtyard to take pictures, making it very noisy. It's almost impossible to get some rest or a quick nap indoors during the day. In contrast, it's very quiet at night, and the ambiance is excellent. The distinctive Huizhou architectural style is prominent, and overall it's quite good. The owner also arranges for an uncle to pick up guests and luggage from the bus station, and their responses are very prompt. Courtyard No. 2 is only a five-minute walk from Yueyao Pond and the Ancestral Temple, making it ideal for early risers to snap photos before the crowds arrive.

Zhang Mansion is much more than just a hotel: it is an authentic experience inside an ancient traditional mansion, perfectly immersed in the historic atmosphere of Hongcun. It almost feels like being transported back in time, into the quiet and refined beauty of China from several centuries ago. The interiors are full of charm, history, and character, and staying here allows you to experience the village in a much deeper way than a simple day visit. The atmosphere is calm, evocative, and almost cinematic. A very sweet detail: the property’s cat and dog are genuinely lovely and add an even warmer, more memorable touch to the experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic, romantic, and timeless stay.

This was my first trip to Huangshan, and after a tiring climb, I chose to stay at Banyan Tree with my mom to relax and explore the nearby villages. Every evening, during the turndown service, we received little gifts and delicious peach pastries. The fermented glutinous rice wine in the lobby was also very tasty. During our stay, there happened to be a Fish Lantern Parade and iron flower show, which created a wonderful atmosphere. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade, so we could watch the performances right from our door, which was fantastic! It was also my mom's birthday, and our butler, Jeff, arranged a special treat for her, which was a very nice touch. The char siu pastry and free-range chicken soup for breakfast are definitely worth trying. All in all, the scenery is beautiful, the staff are all very enthusiastic, and the aroma from the diffusers is lovely. (The only thing is, the quality of the dinner at the restaurant needs significant improvement.)

Guanlu Village was an unexpected surprise! ✅The rooms in the main building were very convenient and had a great view, facing the countryside.
