Comfort Hotel Yokohama Kannai

The hotel is not bad. I have stayed at other branches of the Comfort hotel chain before, but the one seems a bit older. There is a high step to get into the bathroom, which is a bit dangerous, and the bathroom ceiling is a bit low. For reference, I'm 1.66 m. Breakfast is decent, but dishes repeat every 2 days or so, and it can get very crowded as the dining area is small. The free drinks are a nice touch. Good area room stay in. Port, park, stadium, Chinatown, redbrick warehouse, etc. are all in walkable distance. There are decent food options around as well. The staff are nice and helpful! They even tucked my soft toy in while tidying the room :)

Cleanliness was decent amd acceptable except that there was still strands of hair in the shower, but other than that, room looked clean. Location was good but not perfect, still need to walk a bit from JR Kannai Station or the local blue line. However, it is only a 5-10mins walk so its still good. Room was decent and not huge, but still contains all that is needed of a basic hotel room. Added advantage was that the hotel offered free breakfast, and even though the variety was not a lot, it was still pretty good. Overall for this kind of price I would say it is very good value for money, but take note the rooms are small.
