Yunyi's Courtyard Villa (Yunhe Terraced Field Scenic Area Store)

Excellent location for sightseeing; the geographical location is truly great.

The location is excellent with a beautiful view. The young lady at the front desk was very helpful and patient, explaining the scenic spots which made our trip much easier. I was a bit worried at first because some reviews mentioned the rooms were small, but upon arrival, I found that they weren't as tiny as some comments suggested and matched the booked size. Guesthouses are different from hotels, especially when built on a mountain, so the layout is naturally limited. The decor is quite minimalist, which I personally like. Overall, compared to two other places nearby, the price is really quite good. This place has the best location; I especially loved their sunrise access, which is only a two-minute walk from the best viewing platform. If I get the chance to visit again, I would definitely choose Yunyi's Courtyard.

The biggest surprise of this trip was definitely this guesthouse! We originally booked a family suite, but they upgraded us to a villa, which was clean, tidy, and perfectly laid out with excellent service. I especially loved the villa's living room and large terrace – it was so comfortable to stay in. There was also a small incident where a family member accidentally dropped something into the bushes below the villa. We asked the front desk for help, and without hesitation, they sent staff fully equipped into the bushes to search for it. They eventually found our item and returned it to us, which we were incredibly grateful for. Another major highlight of this guesthouse is its excellent location; it's directly opposite the Jiugu Yunhuan observation deck, which is absolutely stunning for sunrise views. All in all, it's highly recommended, very highly recommended – it's rare for me to write so much! Attaching a few beautiful photos of the terraced fields.

The hotel's location is excellent for cloud-sea viewing. The price is a bit high, but then again, all hotels in this scenic area are expensive, so for what you get, the price is fair. Given that it's a cloud-sea viewing destination, convenience to see the cloud sea is paramount. The staff (literally 'young ladies') were also very enthusiastic and provided thorough service. If I had to mention a downside, I'd suggest they could improve the cleanliness a bit. It's not that the room wasn't cleaned, but things like the window screens felt a bit dusty. Perhaps it's just that mountain areas in summer tend to get dusty, but considering the price point, there's always room for a little more improvement.

This guesthouse is located at the top of a mountain, and you can enjoy stunning views of the terraced fields and sea of clouds right from your room. The butler provided excellent service, communicating promptly, helping with our luggage, arranging dinner, and even planning our sightseeing routes.

This guesthouse boasts an excellent location, not far from several attractions. From the balcony, you can even catch a glimpse of some of the rice terraces. After a heavy rain the night before, we were treated to a stunning sea of clouds from the balcony in the morning. The manager is incredibly welcoming; they added us on WeChat even before our stay, which made communication and getting recommendations for restaurants super easy. A special shout-out to them for proactively letting me know I'd forgotten my travel pillow and offering to mail it back to me!

Right by the Yunhe Terraces scenic area, almost at the top of the mountain. The views are absolutely breathtaking. The hotel is built into the hillside, making it quite charming and unique. The shower pressure was much better than expected, and the breakfast was refined. Not far from the hotel, Kenggen Stone Village is also a lot of fun. I just wish I had more time; I'll definitely stay a couple more days next time!

This B&B is absolutely the best spot in Yunhe Rice Terraces! Yunyi's Courtyard is a gorgeous all-wood villa with incredible quality, located right next to the sunrise and cloud sea viewing platform. It's just a 10-minute walk to the scenic area entrance, and the villa is directly opposite the exit. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with floor-to-ceiling windows and balconies offering direct views of the terraced fields and cloud sea. The housekeeper is attentive and the service is excellent. They even provide complimentary scenic area tickets. Watching the sunrise from bed is incredibly therapeutic – this is definitely the place to stay when you visit the terraces!

The hotel's environment and views are fantastic, but the attraction itself was a bit underwhelming.
