American traveler. Overall great experience. Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Facilities clean and new. Love that there's a shared washer and dryer with free detergent (I did a lot of laundry while here). Free breakfast is great (if you like Chinese breakfast). Wi-Fi worked great (with VPN). Conveniently located for getting everywhere in Zhangzhou. Cons: Minor stuff. No elevator, so if you're on the second floor be prepared to haul your luggage (although they'll try to do it for you). No AC in upstairs common areas. Not much within walking distance in the way of restaurants, but you can get to tons of restaurants within 5 min by taxi or DiDi.

The room was OK, but the environment was too bad. There were so many mosquitoes that I woke up several times in one night. My partner and I were both bitten by mosquitoes. Electric mosquito coils didn't work. I called and had mosquito coils delivered in the morning before I could fall asleep.
