The room was a sea-view room with a fantastic view of Gulangyu Island, and given its orientation, you could even catch the sunset. It was spacious, cozy, and very comfortable – truly satisfying. Its location is excellent, right at the intersection of Zhongshan Road and close to the ferry terminal, making it very convenient for taxis as well. The guesthouse has been around for a while, so there was some minor peeling paint on the walls. It wasn't very noticeable unless you looked closely, but a fresh coat of paint would definitely freshen it up. Being so close to the sea, the bedsheets felt a bit damp when we returned in the evening, but it was manageable with the air conditioning running constantly. In summer, there are quite a few insects, so some attention to pest control would be beneficial.

The bathroom featured a separate wet and dry area, hot water was instant, and the toiletries had a lovely fragrance, feeling very nourishing on the skin. Zhongshan Road is conveniently located right downstairs, making it incredibly easy for shopping, sightseeing, getting around, and dining. This entire stay was nothing short of perfect. I would absolutely choose this hotel again if I have the chance and wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!
