Riverside courtyard of Luan Xiyin mountain, Zhenyuan

My stay at this riverside guesthouse in Zhenyuan was an absolute delight! It faces the Wuyang River directly, offering stunning views of the ancient town, its green tiles, and the surrounding mountains and water – every photo looks like a traditional Chinese ink painting. The room was clean and comfortable, situated right by the water. The courtyard is lush with plants, and the rooftop terrace is a fantastic spot to take pictures and soak in the atmosphere. You can watch boats during the day and enjoy the lights at night. It's peaceful and elegant, perfect for just sitting and relaxing. The breakfast was authentic and plentiful, with local sour soup noodles, buns, eggs, and fresh fruit. Dining by the window allowed me to enjoy the river view while eating. There's even a gentle, lazy cat 'manager' at the guesthouse, which was incredibly therapeutic. The owners maintain the place meticulously. It's within walking distance to Zhusheng Bridge and Sifangjing Ancient Alley. If you're looking for a guesthouse with a river view, this is definitely the place to choose. I'll be staying here again on my next visit!

The room's location is absolutely fantastic, breathtakingly beautiful! Sipping tea and taking photos on the balcony, every shot is a masterpiece. The room is clean, hygienic, and very spacious, perfect for a family of three with children or those traveling with elderly parents. 😃

The environment is beautiful, and the location is convenient for getting around. The owner is also very warm and generous. If I visit Zhenyuan Ancient Town again, I'd definitely choose to stay at this hotel. The breakfast was exquisite too; it's clear a lot of thought went into this hotel.

The owner was incredibly warm and insisted on treating us to dinner and drinks on New Year's Eve! The room was clean and tidy, and the air conditioning worked perfectly! The cats and dogs downstairs were super friendly and clingy; as soon as we sat down, we were surrounded by them! Breakfast was absolutely delicious! We'll definitely be back next summer!

Traveling during the May Day holiday, the room was quite spacious and the location was excellent. However, the entire street is a pedestrian zone, so cars can't drive directly in. The owner arranged for someone to pick up our luggage. The room faced the river and we even got complimentary sour soup hotpot, which tasted great. The coffee shop downstairs served good coffee, and the hotel's shampoo was amazing – I'd love to know where to get the same one!
