Overall was pleasantly surprised. I usually book Vibe and thought I'd try citidines as it was a little cheaper.
Overall the rooms were clean and well provisioned howvmever my room seemed to have some sort of fruit fly infestation. Had to kill at least 7 little flies throughout my 3 day stay.
Breakfast at the bar didn't feel value oriented for the price, so there are plenty of other breksfast options around if you venture out.
Lifts can sometimes take some time to come.
Service was great and front desk calling for any amenities top up was nice, usually this doesn't happen with other hotels.
I would stay here again.

Very good and centralised location- walking distance to Chinatown, Pitt St Mall, George Street for main shopping & dining areas, with easy access to light rail, metro and train stations. World Square shopping area is just downstairs with a Coles supermarket and many eateries/bakeries around. The bed was comfortable, but I find the amenities are very basic compared to hotels in Asia countries (for example they don’t provide cotton pads/buds). The hotel is showing signs of ageing esp the bathroom but the room is quite spacious for a central hotel (we had both shower box and bath tub). Concierge is very helpful and courteous, the hotel supplies umbrella for rainy days which is a very nice gesture. Overall it was a great stay, thank you Rydges World Square.
I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable — warm, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. The location is unbeatable, just steps away from Circular Quay, the Opera House, and some of the best restaurants in the city.
Our room was spotless, beautifully designed, and offered a stunning view of the Harbour. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and all the amenities felt luxurious and well thought out.
If you’re visiting Sydney and want a mix of luxury, comfort, and convenience, I can’t recommend this hotel enough. We’ll definitely be back!

Convenient location next to the ICC, 80m walk from Convention Tram station, 10-15 min walk from Central station. The hotel is clean, modern, with good amenities including comfy slippers.
Easy walk to Darling Square and China Town, highly recommended!

At first glance, this hotel makes an excellent impression, it’s conveniently located in the city center, close to many attractions. The staff is helpful and friendly, the rooms are quite spacious and stylish, and there're beautiful views of downtown.
That said, everything else is a bit off - breakfasts are disappointingly lacking in variety, the chairs are extremely hard to move on the carpet, towels are linty, in the bathroom - the sink is the only place to put your phone, and shampoo is fixed in the shower stall with no way to take it to the tub (do people not wash their hair in tubs here?). It’s impossible to have dim lighting since the lamps shine right in your eyes. The furniture, while stylish is a bit old and creaky and the trash bins are ridiculously small and awkward to open.
Yet the hotel offers good value for money in central Sydney, and the staff truly deserves praise. Just consider twice if minor annoyances could bother you and destroy your nerves.
The rooms are very spacious, and the location is excellent. It's a short downhill walk to the Opera House and also very close to the most beautiful train station. It's great for families, as the free Sydney Museum is just diagonally opposite the hotel. I loved that the hotel provides BYREDO toiletries. The coffee machine in the room works great, allowing you to make your own coffee every day. The restaurant on the hotel's ground floor isn't pricey, but service can be quite slow. However, if you're not in a rush, it's a convenient option for lunch or dinner with children, especially since they offer a kids' menu.
Stayed 3 nights at a hotel in central Sydney - very satisfied. Great location, clean, quiet, and a comfy bed. Friendly staff. A solid choice for a short stay

A taxi from Sydney Haymarket to the hotel cost AU$26.1.
The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast was filling.
The next morning, a taxi to the airport cost AU$11.4 because of the rain.
It's a maximum 15-minute walk if you prefer to go on foot.
An airport shuttle bus is also available for AU$10 per person.
We are happy with the spacious room despite its more traditional setting like no centralized light switches. We stayed 7 nights and there was 1 day that housekeeping did not come. It’s fine with us. But I am upset that after one of the bedsheet changes, the bedsheet had a very rough fabric that I had never experienced with any hotel stay. And I stayed at much cheaper hotels before. I couldn’t sleep well that night as it made me itch. I suspect the housekeeper used the blanket cover instead? Perhaps she expected tips? Hope hotel management can keep good staff.
Hotel breakfast was good. You can order fried eggs/omelette.
Will stay again.

KKatyExcellent location - extremely convenient. Quick and easy to get everywhere thanks to proximity to the light rail, along with being walking distance from darling harbour. Unfortunately the hotel messed up our booking and there was no family room available upon our arrival but we were upgraded to a suite which was great. A shame we had to wait until 3pm to check in which is rather late in comparison to most hotels. The room itself was clean and tidy though I would say not really ‘4 star’. Overall it was a solid stay for our family of three but I would suggest the hotel is being a little cheeky with their ‘suggestion’ that room cleaning only happens every 4 days- I want my rubbish cleaned out every day thankyou!
GGuest UserW Sydney is the best hotel among the all I have visited in Australia so far.
Almost everything is perfect, food, services, location, facilities, swimming pools, all of them!
If I have to pick one thing which is not excellent, is that the previous customer left some finger prints on the TV that wasn't being and some dust in air you can see while turning on the lights in the walk-in.
Otherwise, best in the best!
MMeuanpraeGood hostel right in the heart of Sydney. The location is super convenient — just across the road from Central Station. The light rail and Haymarket are right outside the front door.
Some of the staff were very nice, while others were just okay. The room and bathroom were clean and met the general standard.
I was lucky to have nice roommates too.
Next time I visit Sydney, YHA will definitely be my first choice.
GGuest UserI recently stayed at Capella Sydney and was thoroughly impressed. The rooms were stylish and comfortable, with every detail thoughtfully done. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. The location is perfect for exploring the city. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and definitely worth the stay!
JJarvey AustriaI booked a room with a balcony but when I checked in they said it not available coz their system says standard twin room and showed then showers them
My boking when they saw it they said they can’t provide that room on the first night so have to stay in a different room then they said they will bring my bags to the new room but ended up it was in the reception. That wrong system happens a couple of times already but they still haven’t fix the problem. Im not sure I’m gonna stay there again if ever I go back to Sydney. Their location was really good though.
MMBGEMSThis is the one of best hotels near to bus and train stations near to markets and halal food I come here for 3 night and say 6 night i cancel the other hotel booking
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is new, very clean, and the room comes with a small kitchen which was very convenient. Overall, I had a comfortable stay. The only downside was that the bath towels were not changed during my 9-night stay, which was surprising for a longer visit.

RR Katy YMy family of 3 checked in early around noon. We stayed at a lovely 1 bedroom apartment on e 2nd level with a balcony which overlooks e street below. Apartment was spacious, amenities provided were sufficient though one could request for more when necessary.
What we loved best was e location which was so convenient for us to check out different places of Sydney. We ended up walking to our destinations most of e time while enjoying e weather and scenery. There was ample food choices all around e hotel too. Apart from a busier and noisier street during e weekend, which usually dies down by midnight, my family and I had a great stay in Rydges.
