The staff was responsive when I made requests (none were unreasonable or outrageous). Room had a refrigerator, safe, iron and good storage. The furniture was comfortable.
I’ve come to Panama City 4 times in the last 6 months. It’s not the best hotel I’ve stayed in or the worst at the same price range. Everything has benefits or detriments. It just depends on what you like. It is in the El Congrejo area but only a block away from the busiest section so it is not loud while still being convenient.
I was surprised to see this quality in a Crowne Plaza hotel. There was nothing totally terrible, but I would definitely not stay here again.
The detailed version:
Airport shuttle: If you are an airport hotel advertising a free hotel shuttle, I think you should assume a good proportion of people staying there expect it to be easy to get to and from the airport. However it is near impossible to get information about it until you are at the hotel. I emailed twice the week before arriving (no reply) and called them over ten times over two different days to try get information (no answer). Finally the day of flying someone answers and just says that you go outside of the terminal and a shuttle will be there. There are no signs, no timetable, nothing. I called again once we actually got to Panama and was told it comes at 25 past the hour from door 17. I was lucky that my partner saw it by chance on the other side of the street at door 14. At the hotel, there is a printed timetable. Why not put this on the website or share it in the confirmation message?? Or at least tell people when they call? Once there, it was no problem taking it back to the airport, there's a timetable by reception. It runs around once every hour.
Gym: was very good for a hotel, not amazing but it was clean and with a varied selection of machines, mats, medicine balls, resistance bands and weights. I was impressed.
Breakfast: nothing to write home about but a lot of variety: scrambled eggs, cereals, sausages, cheeses, rice, empanadas, breads etc. But a lot of stuff was missing signs. The 'corn empanadas' were full of beef, which seems misleading.
Restaurant: didn't use it because the selection is very limited if you're a vegetarian (I think there was one vegetarian dish). It also seemed quite expensive, I guess that's normal for a restaurant hotel, but the quality didn't look to match.
Room: large and spacious with a comfortable bed, coffee machine and TV. But there was a very weird smell, it was damp and the Aircon looked like it was from the 70s (and sounded that way too).
Bathroom: again OK. The shampoos/conditioners etc seem to be the wrong size for the set brackets on the wall, which makes them very uncomfortable to use, as you can only press down around .5 cm.
We didn't use the pool so can't comment. As I said nothing really terrible but a frustrating experience and a surprise this is within the Crowne Plaza brand. I will personally not stay again.
It started out nice because they allowed us to check in early. Once he started the process, I let him know that we preferred the king size bed as my reservation was for a ”standard room with 2 double beds or a king bed”. That was when I started getting disappointed as he said it would be an extra charge of $25 for the king bed. I questioned why and was told that my reservation was for a standard room and it was extra for a king bed. I showed him what it said but he insisted it was extra. My husband just wanted to get checked in, so he paid for it with his credit card.
We were very satisfied with our room as it was nice and clean and on the bottom floor. The TV would not play any channels of any kind so we couldn't even have that on for entertainment. We went out to the pool area only to find out that the poolside bar was closed and would not be opened during our stay. (05/05/2025). When I choose a place to stay, I expect to be able to enjoy the amenities listed. It did not list anything about being a low season or that the poolside bar would be closed. We had been looking forward to lounging in the pool while having cocktails. We're went inside to the bar and had to look around to find someone to get us drinks. Later on, we did have a very nice dinner in the restaurant with good service.
We had to leave early in the morning and it was great to have shuttle service available and ready to take us to the airport. The driver was very efficient and safe.
I did talk to the front desk about the extra $25 charge because I still felt that we should not have been charged extra. He was very apologetic and understood my point but could only give me a card with a number to call. Overall it is a beautiful property and the rooms are comfortable.

I had five nights there the location it’s OK the hotel is big and enough space the price is affordable but team member and employee need more training to how make satisfy the customers especially for breakfast. There is not that much option but the room service it’s hundred Person I recommend this hotel because of good price

The room is nice and the staff is very good. We stayed in 1510. The humming sound of the central air conditioner could not be turned off all day, which affected our rest. The hot water was OK, but the shower was not working well. There was shampoo, bath gel and body lotion. The bath towels were clean. There were not many varieties of breakfast.
Clean and great location. Lacking in customer service - we were on the 18th floor, which was a good view but we had some party people beside us each night, keeping us up at night (3-4am) I would think security would notice and tell them to shut it down.
Pool was clean, hot pool was not functional.
Breakfast buffet was wonderful - alot to choose from and staff was constantly refreshing the food.

Room quite spacious and clean, two large elevators that can be used quickly. Very nice rooftop pool. Comfortable bed. Welcoming breakfast room adequate for the number of guests. Breakfast with a wide choice of foods.
The only two negative notes: I had some problems with the toilet flush, which was promptly resolved by the staff, and the room was poorly soundproofed.

I have stayed in this hotel twice. The environment is good. The breakfast is not suitable for Chinese tastes. But if you only emphasize hygiene, choosing this hotel must be a good choice.
The hotel is not very large in size, but offers a good price-quality ratio, especially if you take advantage of the promotions this platform.
Excellent location, you have the Metromall a few meters away, you can reach/go to/from the airport using the train , and crossing the street is Los Pueblos, where you will find other shops, possibly with lower prices.
It has a swimming pool and restaurant, both open until 11:00 and a small gym to which you can access 24/7.
The hotel is located in the heart of the city centre and is located in the heart of the city centre.
The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable. If you like early breakfast or have a flight at 9am, it is an excellent option, it can be difficult to find where early breakfast on those sides and at the airport will be more expensive.
The staff is very friendly and allow you to check in from morning, although this depends on availability, it is not a requirement but they help you if you are in your possibilities.
My stay was okay, good location close to amazing restaurants and the multi plaza mall. Breakfast and bar was okay with friendly staff. However the flaws were the room was freezing cold; tried to adjust but remained cold. Turned off the ac for the entire trip but was never hot. Room needs more amenities; offered only coffee we had to ask for tea, no bathrobes or slippers. Also house keeping cleaned rooms at 4 and later when guests are returning from a long day and need to enter. Not a bad hotel but needs to fix those issues.

BBruceTo start it off right I didn’t think my trip included free breakfast until I arrived and the lady at front desk told me! I was excited about the free food. I loved everything about the hotel and the food was on point and the hotel is very clean. The only thing that worried me is the was the quietness where my room was, it made us overthink a little but that didn’t stop anything we still enjoyed it. I loved all the amenities and the staff was very nice. I would definitely book again if I visit again

A wonderful experience in the Heart of Casco Viejo!
Art Casco is hands-down one of the most stylish and comfortable boutique hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Casco Viejo, with historic charm all around and just steps from the waterfront, restaurants, and beautiful architecture.
From the moment I arrived, the staff were absolutely amazing—so warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. There was a bit of confusion about my second day of booking, even though I had paid online. But they handled it with patience and professionalism. Please make sure this hotel gets their money—they truly deserve it.
The rooms are artistically designed, clean, and full of character. Every detail—from the artwork to the furniture—felt curated with care. The air conditioning worked perfectly, the bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom had great water pressure (a big deal in Panama!).
The entire property felt like a peaceful, artistic escape from the buzz of the city. If you’re looking for a boutique stay that blends art, comfort, and outstanding service, Art Casco is the perfect choice. I’ll definitely be returning!
GGuest UserRoom was nice and comfortable though carpet had not been vacuumed in a long time.
Had a massage at the spa. Extremely disorganized and inexperienced massuese. With 30 minutes notice of my arrival there were no towels or robes ready. She kept bringing things one at a time even while i waz naked getting into the shower- bath mat, then robe, then robe belt, then towel, then slippers. I told her i just want back massage and done strong but i had to keep telling her where to rub and to be stronger.
Other than that the facility was nice
I used on line booking to book one day, then two more days then three more days. I always book for two but om the last three days something went wrong and somehow got booked only 1 person. Desk attendant told me $55 a day to change to two person. I think the app which i didn’t use the first two times defaulted to kne person and i didn’t have a chance to select two person
It waa extremely difficult to get a drink at the bar.
I did manage to get a drink at the bar then moved to a table. When i got the bill for items at the tae, the drink i had already paid for was on the bill. The waitress corrected it, thankfui had the bar receipt in my pocket
AAnonymous Userinternet connection isn't great and that could be a problem. Unfortunately, there is no fridge in the room either. The location is not really far from the Via Argentina metro station and staff is very polite and helpful.
DDarío CórdovaFacilities excellent, rooms always clean.
Very good varied breakfast, the only novelty was presented at the entrance because it did not reflect the reservation, I do not share the alternative solution by the establishment because they demanded a guarantee until the novelty was resolved, value that was refunded on the 3rd day.
