The Great part of The Great Wall of China
Getting There - It’s quite the tricky business, but worth every second.
You have to get to Beijing/be in Beijing. Thereafter you should book a private tour or get someone to take you. The drive is about an hour and a half, maybe 2 hours outside of Beijing. 🚗
Attractions - Well, obviously the Great Wall of China. But it’s better because its the unrestored part. It’s amazing to see how the villagers still stand guard on the wall. They took it into their own hands to protect it.
Hotels - No hotels nearby, but I guess you might be able to camp on the wall if you ask permission.
Food & Restaurants - No food or restaurants for miles. Make sure to bring your own food, water and snacks. The hike on the wall isn’t too tiring, but you will get hungry. 🍱
I hope you enjoy the non-touristy part of this World Wonder 💭

BEIJING:Great Wall & Summer palace
Attractions - summer palace in Beijing is a great place to go for a walk and little bit of a hike with amazing old palace. can also check out the famous Great Wall of China. I do not recommend to visit the Great Wall in March as the weather is too cold and windy
Food & Restaurant: I highly recommend that you try the famous Beijing duck 🦆 #beijing #greatwall #summerpalace #travel #capital #explore
Beijing International Sculptural Park📍
Getting There - To get there you can take the Subway to either Babaoshan or Yuquan Road (the park is located in between the two stops). The park is divided into East and West Park which are connected by an underpass. The east park is closer to the Yuquan Road subway station.
Attractions - In the East park you'll find a large open space with a lot of people flying kites. It's a nice space for running around. The West Park has more sculptures and more trees. Sculptures can be abstract or concrete.
Food & Restaurants - It's a nice place for exercising but make sure to take your own water. You won't find anywhere to buy water in the park.

Cool architecture and cocktails in Beijing
I really love this city of old and new, culture and modernity - I recently had a quick work trip there but found some really amazing architecture and a creative cocktail bar called Afterglow in the city centre. If you’ve not been to Beijing, it’s definitely worth a visit - and also the entry point to the Great Wall of China! And have some Peking duck while you’re at it…! ##Travel #China #Explore #Citylife

A visit to China's historic capital
Beijing's capital is an open air museum that preserves many important sites from China's Imperial past. Closer to the present day, there are also numerous monuments that are quite monumental to the Chinese nation.
Of course you'll need to visit the forbidden city, which was an important power point during the Qing Dynasty.
Also head over The Temple of Heaven for a nice park with a very imposing building.
The capital is huge but don't fret, the public transportation network is very well established, especially the metro.
Finally don't miss out on the Great Wall which is a bit outside of the city proper but worth the visit to see the absolute majestic structure!
